# With two wins under his belt thus far on his quest to remain undefeated throughout this tour, Tate Monroe spent some brief time with local reporters before what must surely be a key match tonight at Toyama Techno Hall:

“Of course it’s a key match, all of them are. One lapse in concentration is all it takes to ruin everything I’m working towards here, and that’s something I have no intention of letting happen, not tonight or any night.

But you’re right, at least in the sense that this is one of the bigger challenges I’ll no doubt face this tour. Griffin James, as we all know, is the golden boy of Dream Fujin, and one of Mr. Thomas’ personal favorites. And whether that’s right or wrong, that makes him the benchmark that the rest of us have to reach, in order to be noticed in this company. Personally, I believe I’m on that level. Others obviously may need more convincing. And that’s fine, that’s what this match is tonight –- the perfect opportunity to do just that.”

- Monroe was asked whether he thought Griffin had proven he deserved that spot with his consistently strong performances in Dream Fujin, as evidenced by his picking up the victory in his and Monroe’s match with Tamura and Kaijin several days earlier:

“I’m sure in many eyes he has. I also think he’s proven himself to be something of a glory hound, as of course most American wrestlers are. Last time, when we teamed together, he stole the spotlight and with it my chance to shine against the overrated Tamura. And tonight, gentlemen? Tonight, it’s time to return the favor.”

- Monroe declined any further questions, assuring the reporters they would get their answers in the ring.

# British Steel spoke to reporters after his team failed to win the Trinity X titles at Kira Messe Numazu on Monday night, and confirmed that he would follow through with his threat to break up his team with Hasselhoff SE.

"We failed, it's as simple as that. I made a promise, and now I will live by it. The days of seeing British Steel and Hasselhoff SE team together are now a thing of the past. I enjoyed teaming with the Hoffster, but it is time to move on and up."

Hasselhoff SE would not comment, but appeared very despressed as he walked out of the building.

# A special guest was present backstage at Kira Messe Numazu - Internacional Lucha Libre president Alfonso Reyes. The former wrestler and referee (who has worked in the past for both South Pacific Wrestling and River City Wrestling) watched the night's action and was seen having intense conversation with Dream Fujin owner Billy Thomas. It could have been a discussion about the working agreement that Dream Fujin and ILL have in place, but inside word is that they were working through the details of a Dream Fujin tour of Mexico sometime in the coming months.
