Order of elimination: Ice Dragon, Shiro Namiguchi, British Steel, Hasselhoff SE, HERO Ishikawa, Fuego Tigre jr, Ultraman Zeta, Tate Monroe, Norihiko Miura, Griffin James, Darkness Kitty! Comments: - At the opening of the show, Shoji Tamura and Bombay Kaijin came out to the ring. Tamura spoke about the departure of his ally Jeff Kujawa, and how he had learned that he could not trust "pathetic gaijin wrestlers". He then introduced the two men who he said had enough talent and darkness to join his cause - Darkness Kitty! and Super Darkness Panda. Panda was in his full black "Darkness" outfit. The four men then posed for the ringside cameras, as the fans pondered this new, stronger heel faction. - Darkness Kitty! made his in-ring debut with Tamura's faction when he joined Tamura and Kaijin in defeating Nanami, Hasselhoff and Ultraman. Yoshino Nanami and Shoji Tamura repeated the "stiff-kick-athon" they had two nights ago, and while Nanami showed that he's a talent for the future, he was let down by the calibre of his teammates for the second match in a row. - The fans were really buzzing for the match featuring Tate Monroe and Griffin James, especially after Monroe's comments in the media, where he called James a "glory hound". The two Americans featured in some intense exchanges in the ring, Monroe outwrestling James on the mat in the early going, but James coming back later and using his powerful offence (suplexes, elbows and Yakuza kicks) on Monroe. Sunday and Fuego featured in the high-flying portions of the match. In the end Fuego was trapped in the middle of the ring in Monroe's reverse kneebar submission hold, and had no choice but to tap out. - The former MEGA-ites, Ishikawa and Thrillblade, picked up another impressive win, dominating Shimita and Namiguchi. - The wrestling monk, Norihiko Miura, picked up an easy win. Ice Dragon showed glimpses of promise, but was not really let into the match by Miura's slow and methodical offence. - Apollo Kid III and Shonjo were tested a bit more in their match, which featured the debut of British Steel's new tagteam partner. Having dissolved his team with Hasselhoff SE a couple of nights ago, Steel has recruited another mullet-wigged headbanger, Maiden Japan. As you'd expect, this newcomer has an Iron Maiden-based gimmick to go with British Steel's Judas Priest-based gimmick. This duo are calling themselves the Metal Gods. The man under the Maiden Japan mask is the same wrestler who previously wrestled under the mask as Burair the Ingurando. - The main event battle royal was fought under rules that had eliminations by over the top rope, pinfall or submission. All of the wrestlers started in the ring at the same time, which made for a confusing opening. Ice Dragon and Shiro Namiguchi were gone very early, tossed over the top by Ishikawa and Tigre respectively. Next to go was British Steel, who was pinned by Griffin James after taking a fierce Yakuza kick. Then Hasselhoff SE was pinned by Darkness Kitty! following the Cat Nap. Ishikawa and Tigre jr both went at the same time, as they tried to push Monroe over the top, but Miura shoved them from behind, sending them to the floor while Monroe held onto the top rope and skinned the cat to come back in. Ultraman went for a springboard move back into the ring, but ate a James elbow that sent him crashing to the floor. The last five wrestlers battled for a good while without any eliminations, before Monroe was sent out over the top by Darkness Kitty!, then Miura went over the top courtesy of Elvis Sunday. Down to three, and the match turned into a series of close nearfalls, before James had Sunday out on his feet and set up for the Fujingun Stinger, when suddenly Kitty! rolled him up from behind and got the shock pin! Kitty! and Sunday fought for a good few minutes of back and forth, but Sunday picked up the win when he hit his shooting star press legdrop, the Sunday Shining, for the 1-2-3. © Dream Fujin, 2006.
