News Central Friday March 31, 2006 ===================== # Billy Thomas announced today that Darkness Kitty!, Bombay Kaijin and Super Darkness Panda will be given the next shot at the Trinity X championship. He said if champions Tate Monroe, Elvis Sunday and Ty Walker retain their titles tonight against rookies Ultraman Zeta, Steel Cougar and Ice Dragon, they will defend against Kitty!, Kaijin and Panda at Osaka Castle Hall on Saturday April 8 - the show that will be televised for this tour's Super Energy Battle TV broadcast. # Luchador Fuego Tigre jr sat down with Tokyo Sports and a translator and gave an interview about touring Japan with Dream Fujin. "So far I have had mixed results, but I put that down to having to adapt to the Japanese style. I have fought Japanese wrestlers many times before in Mexico - I took part in a G-Pro tour of my home country in the late 1990s - but this is my first time competing on Japanese soil, and it's taking some adjustment." Tigre jr said he was impressed by the level of talent in Dream Fujin, and added a comment about the rumor of an upcoming Dream Fujin tour to Mexico. "If that happens, it'll be great. I don't think a Japanese promotion has toured Mexico since that G-Pro tour that I mentioned, so it's long overdue. The Mexican fans would love to see the best that Japan has to offer, going up against the best from lucha libre." © Dream Fujin, 2006. |
