Wakayama Prefectural Gymnasium Friday March 31 1150 Fans Results: 1- Hasselhoff SE [6'44" Sitout powerbomb] Tornado JINTEI 2- Bombay Kaijin [11'58" G Spot Fantasy] Kotaro Shimita 3- Darkness Kitty! & Super Darkness Panda{x} [11'06" Pandasault] Apollo Kid III & Kyuki Shonjo{o} 4- Shoji Tamura [7'46" Jujigatame] British Steel 5- Trinity X championship: Tate Monroe[HVW]{x}, Elvis Sunday[NEXT] & Ty Walker[NEXT] © [13'44" Textbook Finish] Ultraman Zeta, Steel Cougar{o} & Ice Dragon [2nd Defence] 6- Main event: Griffin James{x} & Norihiko Miura [17'11" Fujingun Stinger] HERO Ishikawa & Wasai Thrillblade{o} Comments: - Before his match, Tamura got on the microphone and said he hoped that Griffin James was watching, because what he was about to witness was what he could expect in a little over a week's time. Tamura then proceeded to decimate British Steel, holding back on his arsenal of kicks, and instead using suplexes and a variety of submission holds targetting the right arm of Steel. All of the armwork paid off when Steel was trapped in a crucifix armbreaker and had two choices - tap out or have his arm broken. Steel wisely chose the former. - The second title defence of the Trinity X champions was entertaining, as the champions carried the inexperienced rookies to a good performance. While the result was never really in doubt, the rookies gave a good account of themselves, particulary Ultraman Zeta, who didn't look out of place in the ring with his more experienced opponents. - For the second time on this tour, Griffin James found himself up against the former MEGA wrestlers Ishikawa and Thrillblade, and for the second time it was James who picked up the pinfall over Thrillblade. James and Miura combined well, forming a hard-hitting team. Ishikawa used all of his rudo tricks to try to get the win, but even a top rope fistdrop onto Miura wasn't enough. © Dream Fujin, 2006.
