1. Address from the Boss

Welcome! Welcome, welcome, welcome. This is the Buckeye Wrestling
Federation, and I promise we're gonna do this up right. I'm so glad
to have you all aboard, and am very excited about the talent we've
got, especially right off the bat. Right now the roster is very
small, but that's ok. Just means more playing time for you all
until we bulk up a bit. I am still looking for a few more tag teams
and some singles guys. I'd like to get our singles rosters up to 18
guys, and have 5-6 tags. Whether we get there or not and how long
it takes, well… we'll see, but that's my ideal size.

A couple quick things…

You have all signed on for this willingly, and I expect
participation from you. Those who I speak to most frequently seem
excited about this fed, and so am I. If we all put our best work
forward, we're in for one hell of a ride!

I know the commercials aspect of the fed is new and requires a
slight bit of extra participation from each of you, once every 4-5
shows, but I think you can handle it easy, and they will be fun
little pieces. Don't feel the need to go any more than 2k unless
you really want to. But please… do them when assigned.

Lastly, I have squeezed everyone onto this first card so we can all
get our feet wet at the same time and no one feels left out. So… 6
big matches featuring our entire roster!! I promise not to
disappoint, and hopefully we can get it out on time. In order to do
so… some match writing help would be fantastic! Right now, it's
solely moi. And while I think I can probably bust out all 6 of
these bad boys, help on one or two would rock!

Lastly, the FAQ on the yahoogroup is outdated. I will be writing
revising it/writing up a new one shortly which I post to the
yahoogroup as well as the JTF board. And now...

On with the show!

3. News

Ruth Morowitz has been hyping BWF's premiere tour for over a month
now. Professional wrestling has been absent in Ohio for some time,
and the fans are drueling over it. BWF's first edition of Buckeye
Brawl is projected to draw blockbuster ratings on an otherwise weak
Tuesday evening of television.

Rumor has it Ruth and her consultants have been devising a way to
hand out the Buckeye State Title and Tag Titles. There's been
speculation of a straight up tournament for the belt, all on one
long evening of Pay Per View television and that the first few BWF
events could be used to determine seeding for the tourney. Others
say Ruth plans to pick the two most impressive BWF superstars after
the first tour and pit them head to head for the title. The
grapplers have expressed varying takes on these ideas, but realize
still that what you hear through the gossip mill may not always be
fact.

Bigger news to come as things get rolling!

5. Upcoming Lineup

BWF Buckeye Brawl!!!
From BWF Studios
On Public TV pos. 8
6/13/2005

The first edition of Buckeye Brawl will feature highlights of
matches from the current tour as well as comments from BWF
superstars. Matches scheduled for review are:
May 30th from the St. John's Arena at Ohio State University

Erik Kahle vs. Kenny Watson
-Kahle's been wrestling for over 20 years. Watson is 19 years old.
Can the bitter and cynical Kahle finally prove he's worth top
billing? Or will the green Watson shock us all and begin to make a
name for himself right away?

Cash Banks vs. Costigan Rex
-Banks has been in and out of the joint since he was a youngster in
juvey, and Rex should probably be commited. Somehow they're both
free men, an unmedicated Rex aiming to cleanse the wrestling world
of corruption. He's got a great opportunity here, `cause Banks is
as dirty as they come.

June 3rd from the Palace Theater Columbus

"Total Wrestling Machine" Tim Rivers vs. "Big Nasty" Johnny "Senator
Nightmare" Conquest
-Both are fresh off stints in Michigan. Rivers also holds some gold
down south. A good old-fashioned battle between clean wrestling and
foul play. They say cheaters never win. Johnny, a fan favorite
nonetheless, hopes to prove otherwise.

"CLASSY~!" Kendrick Lane vs. MC Ansai
-Lane's been around the block several times. He comes to Ohio with
one thing in mind… winning in style. Ansai, from Tokyo, has
different goals entirely. The youngster with no regard for his body
is much more interested in his hop-hop career than he'll ever be in
wrestling, but he better focus for this one, or his short career
could end in a flash.

June 9th from Procter & Gamble Hall in Cincinnati

Blackwater Bart vs. Tenshi Keganin
-Perhaps the most anticipated match of the show. Bart's a veteran.
A big veteran. Really big. A massive guy who's tough as
nails. Probably tougher. Keganin's past is unclear. We do know
he's a risk-taker who's spent years training in Japan with a master
who he refuses to reveal. The masked grappler would make a HUGE
splash with a win here.

AND THE MAIN EVENT…

The Harvesters vs. The Anti-Socialites vs. El Expreso Rudo
-Our three tag teams do battle in a triple threat elimination style
matchup! DQs and countouts ARE in effect. Two men in the ring at a
time, and team members may NOT tag out the their own teammates.
They must tag in someone from another team. For a team to be
eliminated, BOTH team members must be defeated, but once one is
eliminated, he must leave ringside immediately. Morowitz has decided
NOT to put the tag gold on the line… but you better believe the
winners of this one will have the first claim to them. It should be
wild!

We'll also see the following commercials:

Costigan Rex for "Charmin Ultra!"

"Big Nasty" Johnny "Senator Nightmare" Conquest for "Chaser!" the
hangover cure.

6. Deadlines & Reminders

Ok. The deadline for RPs and strats for this card is June 6th,
which is a Monday.
Commercials are due the 11th.

Remember, RPs can be done in the form of an on-card OR in front of
any setting you'd like. They'll all be placed on the card, and will
be cut to from the studio.

Also remember that all matches OTHER THAN THE MAIN EVENT will be
joined in progress and will be clipped.

That's all I can think of for now. Have fun flashing and let me
know if you can write.

Yay! We're underway!
