News Central Wednesday June 14, 2006 ======================= # Details of the upcoming tour were posted today on Dreamfujin.com. It is to be called "Dream at Summertime", and as new commissioner Kazushima Yakamotu indicated yesterday, all shows will take place in the Hokkaido prefecture. Other key announcements include: - _Both_ Elvis Sunday and Griffin James will challenge Tate Monroe for the Independent Super-Lightweight Championship, in the first ever three-way title match in Dream Fujin history. Sunday won his right to challenge for the title by winning the Torneo Cibernetico in Mexico City, while James has earned a rematch as the last champion. - The Monroe-Sunday-James match will take place at Sapporo Teisen Hall on Saturday June 23. - The opening show is this Friday, June 16. On that show will be a number one contender's match to find the next challengers for the Trinity X title. Partial line-ups and complete dates and venues will be released in a day or two. # Yakamotu also announced that the latest graduate of the Fujin Dojo, 20-year-old Fujioka native Ketsu Tonaga, would take part in a five-match trial series on the tour, to test if he is ready to join the Dream Fujin roster. # HERO Ishikawa and Wasai Thrillblade spoke out recently regarding the Mexico Tour and their future within Dream Fujin. "I hated that place! It stunk like pee and poo and the food tasted worse!" stated the always outspoken Ishikawa. Refusing to speak in (broken) English as he was famous for in his RCW and SPW stints, he continued, "I will never go back there. The fans booed me. ME! Who has ever booed HERO Ishikawa? No one! I guess it could be because of Wasai." Thrillblade ignored the conversation for the most part, playing a hand held video game. "Who cares though because we are going to be Trinity X Champions! Yes, we got a new partner, one that everyone keeps ignoring but is pretty good anyhow and deserves more. You motherbitches (said in English) are all going to get a taste of our fists now!" Ishikawa didn't go further even when asked who the third member would be. "We are going all the way and can no one stop us! No one can stop MEGA Gurentai!" proclaimed Ishikawa, he, along with Wasai Thrillblade all turning to the camera, tongues out, flipping the proverbial bird. © Dream Fujin, 2006. |
