--------------------------------------------------

Match One:
Kohei Aoki[Free] vs Tsuyoshi Sai[RISE]

This match featured two outsiders, but they were certainly no strangers to each other, or to Dream Fujin. Aoki and Sai are both Fujin Dojo graduates who were not given contracts after wrestling in a rookie tryout series with masked gimmicks (Racer X and Northstar respectively). Aoki has chosen to wrestle as a freelancer, while Sai has found a home in RISE.

Unfortunately, neither young man has shown any great improvement since leaving, so this match was very sub-par. Of the two, Sai showed the more potential. He picked up the win via a lariat.

Winner: Tsuyoshi Sai
Time Of Match: 9'09"

Match Two
Ice Dragon, British Steel & Maiden Japan
vs
Ultraman Zeta, Kochiro Miyake[RISE] & Hasselhoff SE

With his 666 teammates vying for the Trinity X title later on in the night, Ice Dragon teamed up with the Metal Gods, as they took on rookie superhero Ultraman Zeta, everyone's favourite lifeguard, Hasselhoff SE, and RISE's greenhorn rookie, Kochiro Miyake.

Everyone but Miyake brought their working boots for this match, with all sorts of high-flying thrills, the major highlight being a MASSIVE tope from Hasselhoff, who flew into about the third row of the crowd before taking out Ice Dragon HARD. Miyake's kick-based offence didn't really gel with the rest of the match, but the Metal Gods did a mega-sell job for him. They got their own back, giving Miyake a warm Fujin welcome with their Headbanger's Fall flying headbutt to the groin.

This was short for a trios match, essentially a sprint, Dragon continuing his rise up the ranks by picking up the win, pinning Miyake after a DDT.

Winners: Dragon/Steel/Maiden
Time of Match: 7'42"

Match Three
HERO Ishikawa & Apollo Kid III
vs
Kyuki Shonjo & Party Animal Delta

The leather jacket and sunglass-wearing pair from MEGA Gurentai faced off against the popular underdog Kyuki Shonjo and PAD, who was wearing a tiger mask and motif tonight. The real interest was of course in seeing former teammates Shonjo and Apollo Kid face off.

To the surprise of everyone in attendance, Shonjo came out all guns blazing, showing his anger at the betrayal of his mentor, Apollo Kid. We're used to seeing the quiet, rule-abiding Shonjo doing his usual face in peril bit, so it was a shock when he attacked Apollo Kid before the bell, intent on beating the living crap out of the masked man. He got a bit over-eager, which MEGA Gurentai capitalised on, Ishikawa and Apollo Kid utilising quick tags and breaking the rules to dominate most of the match. The proverbial hot tag came about six minutes in, PAD cleaning house before the match went into a quick-fire series of near-falls.

PAD came close to picking up the win when he hit Apollo Kid with a reverse huracanrana, but Apollo kicked out! PAD went up top, looking to finish him off, but Ishikawa suddenly springboarded in from the apron and dropkicked him off his perch, sending the masked man crashing to the floor! HERO ducked a charge from Shonjo, then scooped him up and hit a HEROHacker Bomb, before letting Apollo Kid III get the pin after a frog splash.

After the match, Ishikawa and Apollo Kid III were joined in the ring by MEGA Gurentai teammate Wasai Thrillblade, and all three of them roughed up Shonjo some more, before throwing him from the ring and posing for the ringside photographers.

Winners: Ishikawa/Apollo
Time Of Match: 9'27"

Match Three
Ryoji Mifune vs Griffin James

The atmosphere was electric as James stepped into the ring with one of the three Special X members who humiliated him two nights ago. Yoshida and Kanoji came to the ring with Mifune, showing a united front and receiving a mixed reception from the crowd.

Then out came James, but his usual "My cock is bigger than yours" intro was missing, going right into "Tenjho Tenge". The former champion stormed down the aisle, drawing a loud "ooohhhh" as the crowd took in his new look. His new in-ring outfit consisted of black, long, loose fitting wrestling pants with a bold white stripe down both legs, and a black singlet with white trim and a stylized "R" on the stomach. He also wore his new "WAR" gloves and a black jacket mostly reminscent of the shirts Japanese deliquent kids wear open at high school. To top it all off, he was carrying a black and white "Fujingun Revival" flag, drawing a HUGE POP from the crowd!

This was all a bit much for the crowd to take in, but there was more - James wasn't alone! Walking beside him was his longtime allie and friend, Crazy Bastard Cop!

No sooner had James hit the ring, then the brawl was on! And that's basically what this match was - lots of brawling and hard hitting moves, thrown in with some mat wrestling and shoot-style grappling when Mifune was in control. Mifune showed he's no fool, by going right after the right knee of James, the same one that Monroe injured in Mexico. He worked it over for a long portion of the match, but James dug deep and battled back, almost getting the pin after hitting the Fujingun Stinger... but Yoshida put his teammate's foot on the ropes! That drew some boos, and an immediate response from James, who blindly lept from the ring, taking out Yoshida and Kanoji with a big pescado! He then started to lay into Yoshida with brutal punches, but was blindsided by Mifune, and the battle returned to the ring.

The closing minutes saw Mifune laying into James with brutal kicks, and clamping on a jujigatame, which the former champ only just survived. Mifune went for his Drill a Hole piledriver (cradle piledriver with the cradle applied before the lift), but James battled out, then hit a killer lariat, followed by the Fujingun Stinger, hooking the leg for the 123.

After the match, James got on the microphone and said it wasn't Mifune he wanted, but Yoshida. He laid down the challenge (in a curse-laden tirade), which Yoshida accepted, but with a twist. He offered a tagteam match - Yoshida and one of his Special X teammates against James and Crazy Bastard Cop. James thought about it for a milli-second, then accepted.

Winner: Griffin James
Time Of Match: 13'11"

MAIN EVENT - Trinity X championship:
Tate Monroe, Elvis Sunday & Ty Walker ©
vs
Darkness Kitty!, Super Darkness Panda & MIURA

The champions made separate entrances, adding to the interest in how Monroe and Sunday would co-exist - this being the first time they've teamed together since coming to odds at the end of the Mexican tour. Of course, they're also scheduled to meet in an Independent Super-Lightweight title match (along with Griffin James) on Saturday night, and there was definitely a coldness between the long-time allies as they stood in the ring waiting for the match to start.

Earlier, the challengers, representing the 666 faction, had come out to ominous music and looking deadly serious about the task in front of them. Kitty! and Panda have worn the Trinity X gold before, but this was MIURA's first title shot.

The opening minutes of the match followed a familiar pattern, with the wrestlers pairing off for mat wrestling. The first exchange to bring any real crowd response was when Monroe and Kitty! stepped in to face each other. Surprisingly, both wrestlers received good reactions and plenty of cheers!

There were way too many cool spots in this match to describe, but one of the first was when Sunday feigned a dive from the ring, striking a pose but then falling victim to a springboard dropkick by Kitty! The 666 team showed some nice teamwork, such as when MIURA whirled Walker around with a giant swing, and Kitty! hit a perfectly-timed dropkick to the face of the spinning American. Sunday and Walker hit an awesome double dive onto all three of their opponents, Sunday nailing a springboard shooting star press and Walker a corkscrew plancha.

The closing minutes of the match saw MIURA battling Sunday, nailing him with a rolling lariat, then a big elbow for 2. Panda took out Walker with an enzuigiri, but Walker countered a corner charge with a big boot, then hit a Quebrada bodyblock for 2. Walker went for a huracanrana but was flipped over, landing on his feet but eating a big lariat from Panda, which got a 2 1/2 count.

Panda and Walker left the ring, leaving Monroe and Kitty! to take over the fight. Kitty! hit a mean lungblower, then set up Monroe for the Cat Nap, only to have it countered with a Northern lights suplex, Monroe bridging for 2! Monroe then hit Kitty! with a belly to belly suplex, and set up for the Textbook Finish, but Kitty! countered with a swinging neckbreaker. He went up top, but was crotched, then brought down with a springboard huracanrana by Sunday!

Sunday hit a dropkick, then went for the Hawaiian Hangover, but was pushed off, then hit by a lariat from MIURA! MIURA and Kitty! hit corner attacks on Sunday, Kitty! springboarding off MIURA's back with a big avalanche! He decided to try it again, but this time Sunday moved, then dropkicked Kitty! from the ring. Panda charged... right into a spin kick, then Sunday nailed the Hawaiian Hangover (Tornado 3/4 Facelock Bulldog transitioned into a guillotine facedriver), hooking the leg for the 3-count!

The fans showed their appreciation for the match and for the performances of the wrestlers, as the three champions regrouped in the ring. But it was not the jovial celebration you'd expect. Sunday rolled back into the ring with four title belts, throwing one to Walker, then a Trinity X belt to Monroe. But Sunday paused there, looking down at the Independent Super-Lightweight belt, then up at Monroe. Flinging his Trinity X belt over one shoulder, Sunday continued to admire the singles belt. Monroe did not look amused, signalling for Sunday to hand it over.

The fans could sense the building tension of the moment, "ooohhhh"ing when Sunday did not hand the belt over. The standoff looked set to escalate, but it didn't get a chance to... because that was when Darkness Kitty! attacked Sunday from behind. Monroe and Walker jumped out of the way, as Kitty!, Panda and MIURA began to kick and beatdown the Flyin' Hawaiian. For a moment it looked like Monroe might come to the aid of his teammate, as he walked towards the fight... but it was only to pick up the Independent belt! Safely in possession of both of his belts, Monroe turned and left, Walker by his side.

Some of the fans showed their disapproval for this, as Sunday continued to be beaten down by the 666 crew. But the jeers soon turned to cheers as several figures came running down the aisle and stormed the ring! Kyuki Shonjo! Hasselhoff SE! Party Animal Delta! The young lions cleared the ring of the 666 members. But the fun wasn't over there, because a few seconds later, Griffin James came sliding into the ring, Crazy Bastard Cop in tow.

James asked for a microphone and began yelling for Monroe, causing the double champion to stop in his tracks. Goaded by James' taunts, Monroe walked back down the aisle and climbed into the ring, coming face to face with his hated rival. In the past James and Monroe have been content to go chest-to-chest, but that all changed tonight. Reaching into his back pocket, James produced... a wooden clacker! He began yelling at Monroe, telling him to ram the clacker into his knee, just like he did in Mexico. James then tossed the clacker to Monroe, using the moment of distraction to clamp a very painful hold onto Monroe... Usagi Yoshida's patented crotchclaw!

The fans roared with shock, while Monroe could do nothing but hop on the spot, yelling in pain! He fell to his knees, James finally releasing the hold and then turning and running the ropes, roaring back with a Yakuza kick, aiming to knock Monroe's head clean off his shoulders! Tate managed to get out of the way just before impact, rolling out of the ring and limping away in obvious pain.

As James paced back and forth like a caged lion, surrounded by the likes of Kyuki Shonjo, Hasselhoff SE, Crazy Bastard Cop, Party Animal Delta and Elvis Sunday (back on his feet), the fans showed their appreciation, applauding and then launching into a loud chant...

In the ever-developing mob war of Dream Fujin, where factions have been forming by the day, the most famous faction in the company's history is back.

Winners: Monroe/Sunday/Walker [5th defence]
Time Of Match: 17'20"

Overall comments:

- The biggest talking point tonight has to be the emergence of the *new* Griffin James. He's always been arguably the most talented wrestler in Dream Fujin, but in recent times he's also become the company's biggest target. Tonight he showed that he's not willing to sit back and just take his lumps - he's going to go out and take action. With this new fighting spirit, James has also emerged as the General of a re-invigorated Fujingun.

- The Trinity X champions retained their title, but what future do they have as a team? Surely Elvis Sunday and Tate Monroe cannot continue to team together after what went down tonight. What will these two have to say about the situation?

- The next show is Wednesday night at Takikawa Youth Sports Center. Noteworthy is the return of Crazy Bastard Cop, stepping into the ring to compete for the first time in several months.
