# Reporters caught up with Tate Monroe as the Independent Champion left the Kitami East Training Center following his team's defeat at the hands of Darkness Kitty! and Shadows. He wasn't in much mood for questions but did make these comments:

- When asked if the tag loss to Darkness Kitty! might forshadow their title match on Monday:

"Why should it? The only thing it proved is something I already knew about Darkness Kitty! -- beneath all his antics and ridiculous "persona" lies a man who isn't entirely without ability. He showed that again tonight, or at least Ty gave him the opportunity to show it with another poor performance, but rest assured... I see through his act and have done for some time, and come Monday night I'll see my way all the way through to victory."

- And when questioned on Usagi Yoshida's comments recently directed towards him:

"You know, it's funny that Yoshida should find humor in my comments, when what's laughable to me is a man that has to go back six months to find the last time he did anything vaguely meaningful in this company.

Well, while he's stuck dwelling in the past he might want to spend a little time time catching up on what's happened since that time. Because while he was crying over an injury and GIVING UP his championship belt without a fight and with little more than a whimper -- unlike, I might add, the tainted title he carries over his shoulder these days, which had to be STRIPPED from me because no one had the ability to actually WIN it from me -- while he was doing that, I was busy turning this company on its head and excelling in every avenue of competition provided to me.

So I suggest that Usagi Yoshida go back to blowing bubblegum and participating in his little fourth grade three-man stand up act, while I stick to what _I'm_ good at, namely outperforming every single wrestler in this company and continuing to wear and defend championship belts that I actually DESERVE."

# Darkness Kitty! promises victory! With his match against Tate Monroe for the Independent Super-Lightweight Championship next, the leader of 666 stated he "...would end the embarrassing reign of Tate Monroe..." and would carry the belt in a manner "...He sees fit. I do this for Him and will bring the title to Him, letting it burn in the fires of hell and will plunge Dream Fujin into eternal evil darkness! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" The cackling and maniacal laughter continued even as he left the room.

# Ketsu Tonaga continues to have mixed fortunes as the young rookie tries to find his feet amongst the talent-laden Dream Fujin roster. He made these comments after taking the pinfall for his team against MEGA Gurentai:

"It seems that I cannot take even one step forward without another backwards, and it's very frustrating to me. I have trained hard, I want to do well, and I believe I have the talent that Yakamotu-sama has seen in me despite my failures. It will take more hard work but I will not stop, I will make Dream Fujin proud!"

# 666 enforcer MIURA took some time at Dream Fujin headquarters to sit down with Rei Motoya for an interview. Depite his team's recent loss to the Metal Gods in the Dream World Tag League and their subsequent victory in a non-league match, the technician seemed in high spirits, speaking with a boastful disposition and a devil-may-care attitude. He spoke proudly of his current progress in the league, especially of his support of Super Darkness Panda.

"I'm very proud of Panda; he's really grown since joining 666, and while it's clear that we're the less-experienced quote-unquote "B" team of the alliance, I've helped him take on a rightful path to success within Dream Fujin's rings. We had a little difficulty against the Metal Gods, but we seem to have overcome the kinks in our team dynamic."

On the rest of the Tag League:

"Well, tomorrow we have to wrestle Apollo Kid III and HERO Isikawa. I've wrestled with and against Apollo Kid III a few times in the past, so I have a basic idea of how he wrestles. HERO, on the other hand, will be a new experience. I know he's very talented on the mat, but somehow I don't think he's going to be able to match up with the likes of me. [grin] I'm going to push and encourage Super Darkness Panda to break through against our opponents, while I'll stick to my usual strategy of grounding the luchadors and keeping them from using their tricks. All in all, I predict a strong victory for 666 tomorrow."

On the topic of 666 as a unit:

"Well, I don't think this is a very hard issue to press. Tomorrow is also the night Darkness Kitty! will wrest the Independent Super-Lightweight Title from Tate Monroe, and when the title finally comes in the clutch of 666, we'll continue to conquer the Dream World Tag League and then surely grab the Trinity X titles. Not only will Zepp Sapporo see a new champion in our leader, but they'll also know that 666 is a collection of the strongest wrestlers in Dream Fujin, something Special X can't claim, something MEGA Gurentai can't claim, and certainly something Fujingun can't claim. Tomorrow night, our dominance will be made crystal clear. Just wait and see."

Somehow, the topic of conversation moved to asking about the rumors of MIURA wrestling in America in the near future.

"Yes. I was called by the owners of El Paso Wrestling recently; apparently they'd seen my promotional tapes from when I was wrestling as a monk. In any case, they've seen what I can do and they seem to be impressed. I've been meaning to branch out into other territories and spread the name of 666 wherever I can. Whether I'd be returning to my monk form for the American audience or not remains to be seen, but I can definitely see myself wrestling for them in the near future. However, this would not infringe on my duties for Dream Fujin by any means, I'd make sure of it. There's too much for me to do here to neglect the cause of 666, especially after tomorrow."

# No one has yet claimed responsibilty for the Sanrio inspired grafitti littering 666's locker room last week. Dream Fujin officials claim to be looking into the matter, taking it very seriously.

# Another relative newcomer struggling to find success this tour is Tommy Kamoura. The 3-year veteran, now in his second tour with Dream Fujin, has seen his early successes nosedive this time around, his record currently standing at a dismal 0-4. Despite these setbacks however, Kamoura still seemed to be in good spirits when he spoke to the media.

"Yeah, it's been really tough going, a lot tougher than I thought it'd be after last tour. But it's okay, I think I've been wrestling pretty good. I'm gonna stick at it and keep working hard, and I think things will work themselves out. It'd be nice to turn the corner soon though... Dream Fujin has a lot of talented guys, that's for sure!"
