BASTARD STAMPEDE MONDAY FIGHTS

------------------------------

July 24th, 2006

At: Max Belle Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

ALICE "DASH" DEVLIN vs. AKEYLA RUIZ

-----------------------------------------

This was a good solid start to the show. The match began with a handshake and the two ladies wowed the crowd with chain wrestling and a little high flying. While the match was short on time, it was high on content. The end came after Akeyla took to the air and attempted a tornado DDT but Devlin reversed it into a knee breaker.

WINNER: Alice Devlin

TRAPPER WARD vs. "THE NATURAL" J.R. CASH

-----------------------------------------

This was another friendly contest… at least at first. Both men were hungry for a victory and what started as an exchange of power moves and brawling turned into something far more vicious. While neither man resorted to any type of dirty moves or tricks, the force put behind much of what they did grew to be more excessive. Cash put Ward away after a Death Valley Driver. The referee had to keep the two wrestlers separated after the match was over.

WINNER: J.R. Cash

GREG "THE ICEMAN" SMITH vs. WIDOWMAKER BLACKROCK

-----------------------------------------

Before the match, Widowmaker Blackrock claimed that there was no way that Greg Smith could get him with the Icepick. Blackrock was so confident in this fact that he claimed that he could do an even better version of Smith's own finisher. When the match began both men circled up and went to town afterwards. Smith tried to Icepick Blackrock early but the Iceman couldn't get his opponent up. Blackrock worked Smith down in the middle of the match, to the point where he tried to hit the Icepick himself. But Smith was prepared for this and blocked every attempt. The match digressed into a wild brawl that ended when Smith finally managed to hit Blackrock with the Icepick.

WINNER: Greg Smith

AFTER THE MATCH

-----------------------------------------

Greg Smith took the house mic and accepted Jonas Elm's challenge to a match at Shockfest I.

SKY SLASHER and THE SHIFTER with Black Madison

vs. THE BASH BROTHERS

-----------------------------------------

With Mark Everett and Kara Tawn watching in the back, the trio of Sky Slasher, the Shifter and Black Madison came to the ring hailed with their highest ovation of boo's yet. While they would not explain their actions against Everett and Tawn, they stated that it was all part of the plan and that "their boss" was happy. Before they could go on, the Bash Brothers' music interrupted and the two engines of destruction hit the ring. The match was a pier six brawl from the very beginning and only the bell ringing signaled that a match was actually taking place. The referee would come in every so often to make a count but that was it, leaving the wrestlers be. Black Madison interfered often but it wasn't enough to truly turn the tide. That came when Slasher somehow caused Darklin to bleed in his mask and used his temporary blindness to capitalize with a Sky Driver.

WINNER: Sky Slasher and The Shifter

BACKSTAGE

-----------------------------------------

Bastard Stampede Tag Team Champions Jacob Enos and Kirk Houston were shown in the back discussing their differences in methodology. Jacob stated that Kirk was going too far but Houston rebutted by saying that it was war and all was fair. Before they could continue, Slash, Burn and Gloria Butler approached the champions. An irritable Slash told them flat out that Houston went too far last week and this week, Enos would pay. Slash and Burn left when security rushed in separate them. Gloria Butler was seeing mouthing "I'm sorry" to Enos.

JACOB ENOS vs. SLASH with Gloria Butler

-----------------------------------------

Slash didn't bother waiting for the bell. In fact, he didn't bother for Enos to get all the way to the ring. Slash came right up and on the attack. Enos was surprised but it didn't leave him in a bad spot. He managed to get Slash back into the ring and there, the match settled into something that resembled a wrestling contest. Enos dodged early and did well to keep away from Slash who was adamant about breaking Enos in half. Enos stayed smart about it, using Slash's anger against him but when Slush managed to get a hold of Enos, Jacob paid. Kirk Houston made his way to the ring and approached Butler. She told him to get away and her reaction proved to be more of a distraction for Enos than Slash. With his attention diverted, Slush hit Enos with a double underhook face buster and covered for the pin.

WINNER: Slash

DEMOLITION vs. ABSENCE

-----------------------------------------

If Demolition has shown anything since Bastard Stampede opened, it is that the angrier he gets, the more destructive he becomes. Whether or not Vengeance realized this however, was up for debate. After already defeating Ravage last week, Demolition still had to overcome Absence before he would get his shot at the Frontier Union Championship. Factoring all this together, as soon as the match got underway, the fireworks were flying. Absence proved to be much more of a physical equal to Demolition than Ravage was. Both men tried to power the other down, leading to some spectacular slams and strikes. Vengeance came out late in the match and watched from the entrance ramp but if it was to serve as a distraction, it failed. Demolition hit Absence with his Demolisher Spike and covered for the one, two, three. Vengeance said nothing. Him and Demolition merely stared at once another as the show faded to black.

WINNER: Demolition
