# Following his shocking attack on a referee and several security personnel, Griffin James has been stripped of his match fee and suspended from Ring of Fire until further notice. James' attack, which caused the referee to suffer a serious concussion, resulted in the international wrestler being led out of Arena Mexico in handcuffs and taken to the nearest police station.

After much talking between police and RoFW board member Robert Durango, the authorities agreed not to press charges, and released James on the condition that he leave the country immediately. Durango and fellow board member Clint Fletcher turned James over to girlfriend/manager Miss Cherry and transported the pair to the airport. It is understood that James and Cherry flew back to the US.

Mr Fletcher issued a statement the next day.

"On behalf of Ring of Fire Wrestling I'd like to apologise to the Mexican public for what happened last night in Arena Mexico. Griffin James is, by all accounts, a good man, who acted out of character by disrespecting the fine traditions of lucha libre."

"I wish I could explain more, but all I can say is that Griffin James _snapped_ last night. He is quite obviously in need of some anger management. He won't be allowed back into Ring of Fire until we have assurances that nothing like this will ever happen again."

# The official Ring of Fire website has announced details for the first ever RoFW pay-per-view, which will be held at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday November 11. The PPV is to be called "Stand and Deliver".

Matches announced so far include Tate Monroe defending the World Championship against Juan Vasquez, Luke Kinsey taking on Griffin James (although that match seems in doubt now), and Tumaffi facing Jaiden Andrews.
