This is a special thread for all of you to post things that might not fit anywhere else, but all fall well within the roleplaying parameters and interaction of the fed. This is a mix of in and out of character stuff. The Loyalist Looking for a change? An anonymous source from inside Huron Valley Wrestling claims to have the inside scoop on what he calls "The implosion of HVW's most powerful stable." The insider says that "Dying Breed" Jack Snyder, who is seemingly the most loyal of the bunch, is putting on a front and eventually plans to turn on his running mates. This will most likely take place at the upcoming supercard "Do or Die," according to the source. When asked to comment Snyder refuted ... "I cheat. I steal. I deceive. Hell, I'd bite your nose off, sodomize you with an arm saw, and light your hair on fire just to get one win. What I don't do is stab my family in the back. My boys... I've proven my loyalty to them. I'm the one who donned the Banshee ZERO mask to distract Vespasian Reed and propel Alexander Kruger to victory. I'm the one who stood with Costigan Rex last week in the center of the ring, our arms raised victoriously _together._ And come time for "Do or Die" I'm the one who'll be leading my team ... _Team_ _Dear_ _God_ ... to victory once again." Still, the HVW insider says his information is accurate. Only time will tell. |

Tripp Shade Gone Already? Some backstage sources are claiming that Tripp Shade is already disenchanted backstage by the power structure in HVW and might not be in attendance for Do or Die. Shade has a reputation for being somewhat of a lockerroom cancer and out only for himself, as is evident by leaving the now-defunct Pinnacle Pro Wrestling high-and-dry after verbal agreements on two seperate occassions (once prior to showing up in RCW, and once prior to his HVW debut.) If he DOES stick around, sources say management will be keeping him on a short leash, so as not to repeat the GLCW disaster of '02. More on this one as it develops. |

Buckeye Wrestling Federation? With the incredible popularity of Huron Valley Wrestling, rumors are running rampant backstage that the owner of HVW, the wrestler formerly known as The Gremlin, is considering starting up an HVW clone in Columbus, Ohio, playing on the interstate rivalry between Michigan and Ohio. Should The Gremlin get the necessary backstage talent to run the show, it is expected that recruiting for the BWF could begin as early as January 2006. Should this happen, it would be interesting to see just how long HVW and BWF could operate seperately from one another. Should the BWF be formed, it seems impossible that these two sister companies could compete for funding and attention honorably for very long before becoming bitter enemies. Another rumored possibility is that The Gremlin is hoping to build the HVW and BWF up into significant powers in the region, leading to a possible rebirth of the GLCW. Again, these are just rumors, completely unsubstantiated ones at that. |

HVW Managers Contact Macht Kraftwerk? With the demise of River City Wrestling, some of its former members are being targetted by the managers of HVW for their ranks. In particular, according to some high level reports, there's been a bidding war between two of the underacheiving stables for the services of proven junior wrestler, Macht Kraftwerk. It appears that both Dr. Doran and The Robfathah have contacted the former EMWC Junior Champion to sign with their teams, but Kraftwerk hasn't replied to either call. When contacted, the rejuvenated Kraftwerk said he was "confused". More details later! |

LAWSUIT AVOIDED? Rumors are beginning to float that the now defunct Pinnacle Pro Wrestling was going to sue both Tripp Shade and Huron Valley Wrestling after discovering that Shade was about to 'jump ship'. However talks between the two companies apparently happened and problems were resolved. Allegedly a talent exchange was to happen, Shade going to HVW and being released from his contract with a pair of unspecified names entering PPW as part of their cruiserweight division. |

Christie Crumbles? There are rumors going around backstage that the reason why Rob Christie has been completely thus far is because the former manager of the year has recently been diagnosed as obsessive-compulsive. Officials have been tight-lipped about what Christie's specific compulsion is, though there are rumors of Christie arriving at the Eastern Michigan convention center with several dozen new suits every week. Another rumor, albeit a ridiculous one, is that Christie has been in training to join the Harlem Globetrotters, and his training has rendered him managerially incompetant. |

FORMER WORLD CHAMPION ON TAP? Doctor Andrew Doran has been working feverishly in his efforts to recruit a multi-time World champion to join Huron Valley Wrestling under the Doran Family banner. "Huron Valley Wrestling is experiencing an unprecedented surge in popularity, and has become a hotbed for wrestling talent," the Doctor said. "If this deal goes through, The Doran Family will be an even greater force and so too will HVW." Doran has been tight lipped on who the perspective recruit is. "He would set HVW on it's ear, that's all I'll say," Doran said. |

Kaiser Takes Reed Back to Basics Kaiser Bill has resumed control of Vespasian Reed's training and preparation after his defeat to Alexander Kruger in the Submissions Title tournament last week. The Kaiser -- who coached Reed extensively in the early part of his career, while working as a trainer for River City Wrestling -- has brought Reed to a new facility in Harbor Beach especially for this purpose. Before losing to Kruger, Reed bragged to The Kaiser, "My programme has never been this fierce. My methods have never been this tight. My theory, never this clear. My focus, never so sure." The fact that Reed was beaten cleanly in spite of the apparent excellence of his training seems to have raised concerns with The Kaiser that complacency has begun to pervade the young man's game. New Flower Emerges Not unrelated is Kaiser Bill's capture of a bright young talent for his stable, the Flowers of Chivalry. Benny "Boy" Summers was all set to join the Dragon Dojo under the guidance of his namesake Benny Justice when The Kaiser -- scouting HVW try-outs, apparently -- stepped in to offer his own services as a trainer direct to Summers' father. It would seem that something of this eighteen-year-old's physique, ability or attitude so impressed The Kaiser that he felt compelled to fast-track him into his stable. Reports suggest that as part of his new training regimen, Vespasian Reed -- himself just twenty-two -- has been enlisted by his manager to assist in Summers' development over the coming months. |

Recruiting Runs Wild Word out of the Huron Valley offices today is that no less than three stables in the company have done outside recruiting going into Do or Die. With recent rumors going around about The Doran Family trying to bring in a former World champion, we can assume that they are one of the three stables. Another could be Team Vicensi, as Carlos Vicensi's squad is severely undermanned going into Do or Die going into two major matches against Team Dear God and The V-Funk All-Stars. The third stable in the rumor might shock some- Rob Christie has apparently been calling in old favors from his EMWC days, and we could be seeing a number of former legends of the Extreme calling the Huron Valley their new home, possibly gunning for the newly self-proclaimed EMWC World Heavyweight champion Larry Mulberry. |

Mulberry the greatest wrestler in the history of the world, ever? Reports say that Larry Mulberry is indeed the greatest wrestler in the history of the world, ever. Mulberry claims he won a huge tournament to be crowned the Undisputed EMWC World Heavyweight Champion For Eternity, and this proves his greatness to the wrestling world. Never one to rest on his laurels, however, Mulberry tells us that he plans to win plenty more championship gold very soon. What comes next for this member of the Doran Family? Christie Gone? Rumors have been circulating throughout the Huron Valley that former manager of champions Rob Christie has been suffering from a variety of physical and mental health issues that have resulted in his being completely inactive in the HVW thus far. Word is that the company has become fed up with his behavior, and that Christie's final appearance will be at Do or Die. Apparently, a new manager has been hired to take his place, which means that HVW will be experiencing an influx of more new talent. As to the identity of the new manager, if one exists, no one knows anything -- except Larry Mulberry, who has mentioned that he's been in talks with Brian Lau. |

V- FUNK ALL STARS... TOUGH LOVE OR DISSENSION!? No one is quite sure what to think of the beatdown Fabian Dupree suffered at the hands of his stablemates. Word on the street has it that the V Funk All Stars were tired of watching Dupree quit week in and week out.. and rumor has it that none other than Tim Sanders ordered the beatdown. When questioned, Tim had this to say "When you're part of a family or business, you either hold up your end.. or you get your ass handed to you. And thats what we did. It most certainly won't be the last time." Sanders also stated that there would be surprises in store for the V Funk All Stars and the HVW coming real soon. |

Will the real Juan Vasquez please stand up? Mich. (AP)- Those are cheers...but they're not for Juan Vasquez. They're for his opponent, a lightly-regarded rookie that just took one of the top wrestlers in the world to the limit. And those other chants, those are sounds familiar, yet almost inconceivable to him. Deafening boos. Since arriving in HVW, Juan Vasquez has puzzled his fans and those around him with his appalling behavior. The rule-breaking, cocky, arrogant champion in HVW is a far cry from the humble, respectful wrestler we've familiarized ourselves with in recent years. He took his despicable actions to a whole new level last Saturday, assaulting Tim Rivers' mother and the referee, moments before smashing Rivers over the head with a steel chair. When questioned about his behavior, the usually animated and highly opinionated Vasquez was strangely vague. "Things happen for a reason.", he said with a shrug. Considering his recent struggles in HVW, including a near upset by Rivers, has the pressure of being a high-profile star just gotten to him? He seems to be under-motivated and often ill-prepared in the ring. In the past, Vasquez was able to overwhelm opponents through sheer will and determination, not so these days. He lost to the team of Costigan Rex and Corey Hart, looking rather unimpressive in the process. And he barely held onto his title against Rivers in a match where no one gave the youngster a chance, despite holding advantages in nearly every possible area. His troubles are further compounded by a rocky relationship with his teammates in the Doran Family, although they've seemed to have resolved their early inability to work as a cohesive unit. "It's just a period of adjustment. I just gotta' get a little more comfortable in my new surroundings. Not that I need to give my all against wrestlers like these anyway.", he laughs. But considering the increasingly competitive nature of HVW, will Vasquez continue to hold onto the HVW heavyweight title by sleepwalking through his matches? Would he be able to defeat a highly motivated and dangerous Tim Sanders as well as another possible challenge by Tim Rivers? No and no. When HVW signed Vasquez, they were expecting the superstar that had set the wrestling world on fire. The one that captivated audiences and always gave his all. For comparison's sake, this Juan Vasquez can't even be bothered to take off his tracksuit for matches. So the question is, will HVW ever see that side of Vasquez? Will we ever see that Juan Vasquez again? For a second, Vasquez lowers his guard. No longer the angry malcontent, but once again, the smiling fan-favorite that seems to be such a distant memory. With a laugh, the champion cheerfully sighs. "Never say never." |
