K, for the record... 1) Jeremy might be ashamed of that strat but even to this day I still put that thing in the awesome category. 2) I take responsibility for all UEW wacky stips circa 2000. For the record, the human chess thing sounded cool but never truly worked. This is what you get when you try and innovate on a monthly basis for a hardcore title. As for what I'm ashamed about... *sigh* That whole Matthews-Styles-Extreme thing. A great example of how sometimes one forgets this is just a game. There were more than a few OC shots in rps. Then there were the double and triple crossing via IMs and emails. Real life hate spilled into something that was supposed to be just a game. The result was things weren't a game anymore. Sad part is it took a long time for me to get clear of all that. Jeff |

Uh, god, where to begin? 1. Order and Chaos 2. Will Navage 3. Cain Superstes Yes, I am so ashamed of that crap that I basically listed the same thing three times. Embarassing losses...lesse. William Craven, Kendel Jones Superstar are easily the two worst. I think I jobbed to Quinn Brown at some point, too -- with the same character who once buried his head in a watermelon, superkicked the watermelon, then pinned him. I've written a ton of garbage RPs/matches in my day, but to be fair, in the feds I was in at the time, garbage was the norm for the most part. Also, since Mat Findlay won't post here I suspect, I'll list his most embarassing moment -- Casey James SOLD for Will Navage. (This really happened.) Also, I will never beat Scott Blair, and this is the most shameful thing of all.

Simple and easily put: Losing a feud to both Chris Hopper & The Gorilla... Having The Gorilla put one of your characters in a coma... and then, after all that, still join a Hopper-ran fed, only to get run [after saying it sucked immensly] by a character named "The Dave". |

Yup. I'm a longtime UEW loyalist, Dave, and everybody knows it. But I'll wholeheartedly agree that it was a crying shame that Hayes only got there at a time when things were heading south in a hurry. Perhaps one of the biggest missed opportunities I've seen in the game as if the irons had been hot when struck, there could have been some awesome results. I see that as the final point where I could have seperated Tyrone and the WWO but the whole debacle ended up reviving the old bitch. I ended up contacting all the old handlers I knew and eventually the WWO was brought back to life for its final run. After that Tyrone simply became the WWO and there was no turning back for the chracter. I had a fun run with him and wished I really could have been at the helm more often than I was at the end. The UEW run was... bad. I had so many ideas shot down or outright ignored that it soured me on things right quick. Plus Stone was just as meddlesome and hard to work with as usual. A shame the only time Lacroix and I worked together was during that shining ship. |

That was a horrific mistake also, but I figured I would give it a shot. I figured all UEW needed at that point was someone who would put everything together and send things out but alas, I was mistaken. I had no time to write anything on my own and so I just prolonged the death of the fed. Crazy. |

I don't even know who it was you handled or where you lost a fued to us. If you lost to both of us, then it was probably NeCW where we had a tag team for awhile.....man that was ages ago. "The Dave"'s handler was Dave Sistare....who ended up handling 1/2 of the future RCW tag dup of "The Leading Men" with Tripp Shade's handler, Frank. I don't remember anybody being ran from a fed I ever ran because they said it sucked immensly. In fact, I rarely "ran" anybody. Probaby couldn't even tell you about which fed it was because I have failed at running all of them I ever tried. LOL |

I underminded Andy throughout our RCW run just so Luke Kinsey would never get a sniff of the world title. Ironically, he underminded me but didn't possess the tact to overcome Chinaman politics. My only regret is that I couldn't extend that underminding to UWF. I'm so ashamed! |
