![]() PVW World Heavyweight Championship - "Concieted Bastard" Chase Williams Chase Williams was crowned the first PVW Heavyweight Champion after winning the grueling two show Blood Bowl event. On night one he advanced with Caleb Foley as his partner in the dreaded lethal lottery. On night two he outlasted 15 other men and pinned Rob Cole to be crowned the first ever PVW Heavyweight Champion. (Heatwave, 02.06.08) Lost at End Game (06.30.08) to Brian Young in a triple threat match with Williams, Young, and Foley ... - "The One" Brian Young In what was an emotional match on so many levels we saw the veteran Brian Young doing everything in his power to take a final lap in the sun. We saw Chase Williams the current champion dish out brutality after brutality and overcome an early two on one odds to stay in the match. Finally we saw what appeared to be the stars line up for the young Caleb Foley. His father passed away earlier in the week ... Yet the Fighting Irishman overcame what seemed to be a stacked deck when the chair shot heard around the world followed up with two feet extended on the top ropes not only crushed The Fighting Irishman's dreams, but poured salt into the wounds of what became a former champion. The peoples hero ... The man everyone knew they could trust ... Brian Young showed the world what was truly important to him. The PVW Heavyweight Championship title. (End Game, 06.30.08) Title was vacated at Tradition II (11.11.08) after suffering an ACL injury from Motor Cycle accident. - Rob Cole After competing in an eight man tournament for the vacant PVW World Heavyweight Championship. Rob Cole and Chase Williams were set to square off in the main event at Boiling Point. After a grueling back and forth blood match. Chase Williams appeared to have won the match when the match was called when Rob Cole was in the End Game armbar. However the match was awarded to Cole due to the massive amount of blood loss of Williams. (Boiling Point, 02.11.09) Lost at Rise From the Ashes II (01.09.11) to Rick Marley in a buried alive match. - "Widowmaker" Rick Marley Rick Marley cashed in the called shot and challenged Rob Cole in a buried alive match at Rise From the Ashes II. After a grueling back and forth battle. Rick Marley was able to hit the Widowmaker then the Highlight reel and bury Rob Cole alive to become the fourth PVW World Champion. (Rise From the Ashes, 01.09.11) Lost at End Game II, (05.30.11) to Gibson Hayes in a triple threat match with Hayes and Doc Holliday. - Gibson Hayes In what is being called a win for America. Gibson Hayes defeated PVW's top two superstars in the same night to capture the triple crown. After a grueling match that all three men unleashed nearly every move in their arsenal. Gibson Hayes captured the PVW World Heavyweight Championship. (End Game II, 05.30.11) ![]() PVW Tag Team Championship - The Royal Family Royal Family was awarded the 8th spot in the tag team gauntlet match and took full advantage of it by winning the PVW Tag Team titles in the 8 team tag team gauntlet match at Rise From the Ashes. (Rise From the Ashes, 04.13.08) Lost at End Game to The Wild Cards (06.30.08). - The Wild Cards Prior to the event Carl Stevenson of The Royal Family approached PVW management and worked the stipulation into the match that the losers in-between the Wild Cards and The Royal Family would not only leave the building with out the PVW Tag Team Championship belts, but would leave the company. In a shocking turn of events The Wild Cards were able to backfire Stevensons plans and not only capture the PVW Tag Team Titles, but force the Royal Family _out_ of the PVW. Word is that Carl Stevenson is working feverishly in trying to find a loop hole, but up until this point has failed to do so. Those dirty iron clad lawyers ... (End Game, 06.30.08) Lost at Tradition II to Prophets of Rage in a tables death match with an assist from a debuting familiar foes, Canadian Legacy. (11.11.08) - Prophets of Rage Arguments raged on about who was the better tag team, The Wild Cards or The Prophets of Rage. After each team put one another through tables the juggernaut match up was set for the first meeting in-between these two legendary tag teams. The Prophets of Rage defeated The Wild cards in a Table Death Match when and a familiar set of foes showed up to assist the Rage brothers in capturing those belts, Canadian Legacy. (Tradition II, 11.11.08) Lost at Heatwave to Urban Legend in a NO DQ match. (03.03.09) - Urban Legend After months of feuding between Urban Legend and Prophets of Rage they had a match that ended in a no contest on Boiling Point. The very next Heatwave the two teams wrestled in a NO DQ match where Urban Legend was able to become the fourth tag team champion! (Heatwave, 03.03.09) Lost at Shattered Dreams in Unholy War to Livestock and The Gutch. (09.30.09) - Livestock and The Gutch Livestock and The Gutch one of PVW's original tag teams that has always been around the tag team titles, but just falling short finally got hot headed into Shattered Dreams and Unholy War. Being backed by the corporate juggernaut known as SSN the lawyers took full advantage of their power and had the contract changed prior to the legendary tag team match that the winner of the four corners would gain the 8th and final spot. Ironically enough Livestock was the victor. Livestock and The Gutch took full advantage of their spot and in the end pinned the Wild Cards to become the fifth PVW tag team champions. (Shattered Dreams, 09.30.09) Lost at Rise From the Ashes II in Fatal Four War to Everlasting Hell. Prophets of Rage, Max and Sal also participated in the match. (01.09.11) - Everlasting Hell The unlikely brother in law's combination of Tom Landis and Perry Fontana was able to pick up the victory in the fatal four way. Perry Fontana started the match on his own as Tom Landis was side lined with a mild concussion. Mid-match after Zeke Craven's planned backfired Livestock and the Gutch were eliminated from the match guaranteeing there would be new champions. Tom Landis returned and the combination picked up the victory. (Rise From the Ashes II, 01.09.11) Lost at Heatwave, 02.15.11. When the odd couple team of Livestock and Ohno Ow formed to defeat Everlasting Hell. -Livestock and Ohno Ow With both Dr. Mal Practice and The Gutch injured. Zeke Craven was able to combine lawyers and doctors to take on the brother in law duo. After Perry Fontana showed his true colors and turned on Tom Landis. The unlikely tag team of Ohno Ow and Livestock won the titles. (Heatwave, 02.15.11) - Lost at End Game II, 05.30.11. When the titles were held up in a match between PAIN and Livestock and the Gutch. - Livestock and The Gutch Livestock and The Gutch defeated PAIN to regain the PVW tag team titles for a second time. Earlier in the night Livestock and Ow were set to face The Gutch and Mal Practice. However things exploded and the titles were held up for grabs between the two teams. (End Game II, 05.30.11) - Lost at Boiling Point II, 11.11.11. In a bloody cage match with Max and Sal. -Max and Sal Max and Sal had become one of the most popular tag teams in the wrestling world. They finally received their shot against HOPE's juggernaut tag team, Livestock and The Gutch in the first ever tag team steel cage match. They won the titles to ensure that Todd Johnstone wouldn't control every PVW title at the end of the night. (Boiling Point II, 11.11.11) ![]() PVW American Championship - "Paladin" Chris Hartt 'Paladin' Chris Hartt over came three matches, interference, and a bum knee to win the one night tournament and be crowned the first, PVW Rising Phoenix Heritage Champion. (Tradition, 03.06.08) Lost at Tradition II (11.11.08) when he faced Gibson "Red" Hayes. - Gibson "Red" Hayes In what was billed a Champion versus Champion match, Gibson "Red" Hayes defeated 'Paladin' Chris Hartt to become both The Rising Phoenix Heritage Champion and the Network Champion at the same time on Tradition II. (Tradition II, 11.11.08) Lost at Rise From the Ashes II (01.09.11) inside a Steel Cage versus Hersher von Donkerhardt. - Hersher von Donkerhardt In what turned out to be a grudge match for the ages. Hersher von Donkerhardt put his career on the line versus Gibson Hayes inside a steel cage in order to have a chance at the American Championship. In a back-and-forth battle the near impossible happened with HvD became only the third American Champion. (Rise From the Ashes II, 01.09.11) ![]() PVW TV Championship - Gibson "Red" Hayes In an impromptu Battle Royal at End Game. Gibson "Red" Hayes was able to defeat twelve other superstars to become the first PVW Network Champion. (End Game, 06.30.08) - El Outlaw LOCO Both the Network and American title was on the line at Boiling Point when Double champion Gibson Hayes was forced to defend both titles in a fatal four way. The first twenty minutes the Network Championship was on the line and El Outlaw LOCO was able to earn the pinfall to become the second Network Champion. (Boiling Point, 02.11.09) - Perry Fontana Build up going into Shattered Dreams was heated as Fontana and Masked Maniac seemed to have a back room deal. el Outlaw LOCO the current PVW Network Champion would be "replaced" with Outlaw prior to the bell due to "extreme injuries" ... The match saw plenty of high light spots and Masked Mania x2, but in the end the rising star - Perry Fontana was able to unstrap the ladder hanging fifteen feet high in the air. (Shattered Dreams, 09.29.09) - Masked Maniac After his promised title shot by Perry Fontana was ignored. Masked Maniac was able to earn himself a shot only to receive a dislocated arm by Perry Fontana. At Tradition IV. The match was signed and sealed and in what appeared to be a double showing of Masked Maniac ... The long time journeyman who spent many of years putting wrestlers over captured his first official championship title win. (Tradition IV, 05.14.10) - Larry Gionet On the rebirth of Heatwave we traveled back to the 52nd Street Armory and Larry Gionet was able to capture the PVW TV Championship after putting Masked Maniac away with the pinfall. After the match Maniac was unmasked by his rival Perry Fontana to reveal Jack Keening. (Heatwave, 11.28.10) -Sinister In Larry Gionet's fourth in a row match, Sinsiter, was able to defeat the PVW Warrior and win the PVW TV Championship in a clean pinfall. The challengers have lined up with their intentions clear in taking the title from the wrestling veteran. (Heatwave, 02.15.11) - Christopher Black Senor Cloak Dos earned the TV title shot, but was attacked backstage by Christopher Black. Sinister having enough of the ways of the Bad Wolf. Charged Black to the ring and the match began. However the brilliant opportunist struck again and held the tights to pick up the victory and the TV Champion. (End Game II, 05.30.11) -Senor Cloak Dos At Tradition Six these two arch rivals squared off in one of the most highly anticipated matches. In what stole the show the two men battled back and forth, tooth and nail. In the end the California fans celebrated with the new TV Champion. (Tradition Six, 08.31.11) -Uncle Frank On Shockwave, Gibson Hayes right hand man entered the ring to take on the heavy fan favorite, Senor Cloak Dos. And at the end thanks to an appearance by the Bad Wolf ... Todd Johnstone was able to add a third title belt to HOPE.
