12 DAYS
DAY 2

CLYDE KENNEDY [vs] MATT PAYNE

Two big and dangerous men butted heads in this contest, pitting the top dog in the Tri-State Wrestling Federation, "The Policy" Clyde Kennedy, against former Vegas Xtreme Wrestling television champion, Matt Payne. Payne has harbored a lot of pent up anger over the past several months, after being defeated in a Loser Leaves Vegas match in VXW, and looked to take out that frustration on a man who it seemed wasn't quite ready for the aggressive onslaught the near seven-footer brought to the table.

Whether it was jetlag, overconfidence, or just a higher level of competition than the TSWF champion is normally used to, Kennedy was a step short and a day late on the majority of the exchanges. Starting verbally, it quickly shifted to physicality as these two alpha dogs opened up on one another. Payne was on his game, Kennedy was not, and it soon had him on the backfoot as Payne hammered Kennedy in the corner. The ref interceded to force the break, but that just gave Kennedy the opening with a RAKE OF THE EYES, followed by some stiff shots and a SPINNING FOREARM. Payne soon countered with a CLOTHESLINE, and then a big GUTBUSTER that sent the 285lb self-made millionaire rolling to ringside.

Payne followed, and got caught briefly by Kennedy, who rammed his spine into the ring apron. The pair brawled on the outside, under the referee's strict count. Kennedy used his power to reverse an Irish whip, sending Payne shoulder first into the ringpost. But when Kennedy followed up with an attempted SPEAR TO THE SPINE, Payne moved and Kennedy ate the steel himself! It soon got worse as Payne followed up with a modified SNAKE EYES on the ring steps! Ouch!

Payne beat the count and came straight back out for Kennedy, rolling him into the ring before attempting a cover, only for Kennedy to kick out. Payne battered him with ELBOW DROPS and STOMPS, but then Kennedy fought out of an attempted RUNNING POWERSLAM and shoved Payne into the corner. He came charging in, but Payne laid him out with a huge LARIAT! Payne covered again, but Kennedy kicked out at two. Payne hoisted him up and dropped him with a big STUN GUN, that left Kennedy down and clutching at his throat! He staggered back to his feet, and turned around as the crowd buzzed a warning... just as Payne about took his head off with the LIGHTS OUT, BITCH! That vicious blindside charging boot to the face was all she wrote for Clyde Kennedy, and Payne picked up the 1-2-3!

Post match, as Payne gloated at ringside, he saw two Tri-State fans in the front row. With a smirk, he grabbed the TSWF sign they were holding, turned straight into the camera, and mockingly "wiped his ass" with the sign! A clear-cut message of dominance from Matt Payne, who appears to be a real force in Group B.

COBRA [vs] ‘THE SCOURGE’ ALLISON DETORRE

Cobra entered the ring with a clear confidence and why not? He has won the Gold the last two years in this event, but Cobra had underestimated his opponent, the The Scourge.

DeTorre opened the match by taking Cobra off his feet and going to work on his legs. She seemed to be a step ahead of the two time medalist at each and every turn during the early portions of the match. DeTorre did get caught briefly by Cobra but sent Cobra out of the ring a moment later with a BACK BODY DROP. DeTorre decided to take the fight to the outside and hit Cobra with a SUICIDA PLANCHA!

DeTorre got Cobra, and herself, back in the ring before the ten count but this was her downfall. Cobra hit an ‘out of the blue’ FACEBREAKER and turned the tide of the match. Cobra recovered and hit a BELLY TO BELLY TOSS and then slapped on a SURFBOARD and tried to bend the beautiful DeTorre in half. DeTorre got to the ropes and forced the break. With both competitors back on their feet DeTorre took the charge again, Cobra went for a headlock out of the collar and elbow and DeTorre picked him up for a SIDE SUPLEX. DeTorre sent Cobra hard into the corner and then hit an ENZIGUIRI that knocked Cobra out of the corner and she followed up with a SPLIT LEG MOONSAULT. She then climbed to the top rope and hit her swanton bomb she calls ASTAROTHS HAMMER and scored the ONE TWO THREE!

After the match DeTorre walked to the back while a stunned Cobra seemed to trying to figure out what had happened, but this is round robin so Cobra still has a fighting chance.

ROMAN ANDERSON [vs] ‘HEARTLESS’ JAKOB VOLGA

Anderson tried to keep Volga off his pace early in this one as Anderson retreated to the ropes, rolled out of the ring and asked the referee to check Volga for weapons. Anderson didn’t seem to want to mix it up with Volga.

Jakob Volga waited him out and finally got his hands on Anderson and it was BRUUUTAL!

Anderson got to experience the world through the eyes of a rag doll as Volga dominated Anderson. Anderson suffered REPEATED HEADBUTTS at one point that forced the referee to move in and stop Volga and ask Anderson if he could continue. Anderson was able to utter that he could and Volga moved back in and continued to batter Roman Anderson.

But all is never lost when you talk about Roman Anderson. Volga whipped Anderson to the ropes and the wily Anderson pulled the referee in front of the charging Volga. Ref bump, Anderson digs deep in his pants, pulls out brass knuckles and WHAMMO!

Tide turned.

Anderson picked up Volga and hit a VERTICAL SUPLEX on him and then put the boots to him. Then he picked up Volga for another shot from the BRASS KNUCKLES. That’s when The Red Headed Sadist, Kendra Volga jumped on the ring apron. Anderson, a known sucker for a pretty face , gave her more than the time of day he gave her every line he had and then some.

She smiled, and then pointed behind him and Roman Anderson turned into THE HEART PUNCH from Volga!

So you could say that a woman once again broke the heart of Roman Anderson.

After the match Volga picked up Anderson and added some extra punishment just for fun or maybe to send a message to the other competitors.

‘THE LEGACY’ MARK ADAMS JR [vs] ‘HOTSTUFF’ STEVIE PORTER

This was the main event. Adams and Porter put on a great match. Porter took the early control and was picking at Adams, hitting a punch but then hitting a bodyslam. Or he would lock Adams into a move designed to wear Adams down like a headlock takedown or a deep arm bar and then he would tear pages from the old school cheatin’ handbook.

But Adams was not at the mercy of Hotstuff. Adams brought his lineage and training to the ring and found a way to take Porter off his feet often. Stevie Porter was on the business end of nearly every suplex known to man.

But neither seemed to be able to put things away, until very late in the back and forth battle a mistake by Porter changed the landscape of the match. With Adams freshly whipped into the corner Porter charged in and missed, he hit the ring post shoulder first and then slumped back into the ring. Adams recovered and hit a ONE AR M DDT and then picked up Porter and hit him with a SHOULDER BREAKER! Adams was salivating at the idea of slapping on the CROSSFACE and he whipped Porter to the ropes and made his move, but veteran experience can never be underestimated as Porter fought off the crossface attempt, remained on his feet and caught Adams in a BACKSLIDE.

But Adams kicked his way out and both men scrambled to their feet and Adams got the small package for

ONE!

TWO!!!!

But Porter kicked out!!!!!

And as they moved to their feet Porter got Adams in a DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN and put his feet on the ropes

ONE!!!

TWO!!!!!!!

THRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And with that Day Two of the 12 Days Tournament came to an end.

Matt Payne and Jakob Volga picking up wins in Group B and Allison DeTorre and Stevie Porter getting wins in Group A. Cobra, the two time defending champion is 0-1.
