HUGE UPDATE, December 19, 2008.
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
TABLE OF CONTENTS.
------------------------------------------------------------

1) Opening spiel.
2) Schedule of events.
3) Website.
4) Matchwriters.
5) Results.
6) Injuries, fines, suspensions, etc.
7) IRC Channel.
8) Upcoming shows.
9) Roster.
10) Other news.

------------------------------------------------------------
1) OPENING SPIEL.
------------------------------------------------------------

After a “short” hiatus (let's call it a holiday break and move on) HUGE is back on track. Adding a few new members to the roster, it looks like things are heating up in the Crotch of America's Heartland.
Participation was disappointing this time 'round, but hey, we're just getting started. Just remember, the punishment for being inactive for 2 weeks is jobber status on Overflow.
Oh, and a note on strats. If you're writing spots (greatly appreciated, it helps me get the cards out faster) do make sure they're ready to cut-and-paste. If the spot's not in the right format, I won't use it. It actually takes longer to fully write a spot from your _instructions_ than it does to make it up myself. To reiterate, fully-written to match the show – good, described but not written out- bad. Remember, the next 3 shows are summary, so spots should be summary too. See the last HUGE overflow for examples if you're unfamiliar.

------------------------------------------------------------
2) Schedule of events.
------------------------------------------------------------

Slightly modified schedule to nudge us back in the weekly direction things were heading originally. Remember, we're playing it fast and loose.

Thursday/Monday: Flashing and stratting.
Tuesday: HUGE Live! comes out.
Whenever I get to it: HUGE Overflow.

If anyone can't make the deadline, just shoot me an email at hugemail@e-wrestling.info and it will be done. Said extension will be 2 days, and that's it. No more. If this knocks us off our schedule, no problem, just remember “fast and loose”. If it gets too bad, we'll just skip a week and be right back on track.

------------------------------------------------------------
3) WEBSITE.
------------------------------------------------------------
The URL for the HUGE website is: http://www.huge.e-wrestling.info/ (Almost done. Need another day off work).
I've decided to drop the “http://www.huge.com” aspect to it. If you don't know what I mean, don't sweat it. It was silly. Also, don't click that URL. It has nothing to do with our HUGE.

------------------------------------------------------------
4) MATCHWRITERS.
------------------------------------------------------------

Normally, these are not necessary, although you can help your chances of winning a match by writing spots appropriate to the format of the show in which they are presented. If you want, you can volunteer to write your own jobber match (scheduled or not), and also, if you want your character to offer commentary (on one of the highlight reel shows) feel free to volunteer (so long as your own characters aren't competing in the match).

------------------------------------------------------------
5) RESULTS.
------------------------------------------------------------

Attached is the first “Highlight Reel” version of HUGE Live! The next 3 will be summary with sparse commentary.
I've put in some spoiler space so those of you who haven't read the card can do so. The winners and losers are listed below. Additionally, the card itself is attached to the email. If you haven't read it yet open it now!

Spectre d. Jason Dynamite.

Antonio Morientes d. “The After School Special” Dylan Scott.

Tre Jordan d. Preston Mayfield.

“King of the Cruiserweights” Twinkletoes Tiwilliger d. Lightning Foot III.

------------------------------------------------------------
6) Injuries, fines, suspensions, etc.
------------------------------------------------------------

Suspensions.
------------

None. You'd have to be pretty bad to get suspended from a place like HUGE, and nobody's done anything that bad yet.

Fines.
------------

None. Keep in mind that your character's not getting much money from HUGE, so a fine is a pretty big deal. The big money is when they move up to PVW.

Injuries
------------

-- Preston Mayfield slipped into a brief alcohol-induced coma. When next of kin were contacted regarding what luckily turned out to be a very temporary case of death, they were quoted as saying “oh, that's normal”.

–- Twinkletoes Tiwilliger has a chipped sweet tooth, and is only eating candy on the other side of his mouth now.

-- The Spectre has a bad case of wounded pride. Hey, you would too if you were exiled from the world stage down to the Crotch of America's Heartland.

-- Jason Dynamite may be dead. Then again, anyone you haven't seen in the last 5 minutes could be dead too. You just never know.

-- Lightning Foot III has a hurt ego after DJ Har-V got his name wrong several times during his match. After speaking to the man privately, however, it is clear that he's not clever enough to have done it on purpose, and so obviously was just confused.

-- Barney Johnson strained his voice trying to say the name of Twinkletoes Tiwilliger's finishing move. He took a lozenge and a few deep breaths, and should be fine by the next show.

-- No animals were harmed during the making of HUGE Live! Unless you count rats. In which case ... lots of animals were harmed. Hundreds.

------------------------------------------------------------
7) IRC CHANNEL
------------------------------------------------------------

Does anybody care to start this? Seems like IRC has lost its steam in recent years. Still no reply from the peanut gallery on this one.

------------------------------------------------------------
8) UPCOMING SHOWS
------------------------------------------------------------

HUGE Live!
Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
----------------------

Scott Nielsen -vs- Jerko D. Clown.
--------------------------------------------
The incoming Nielsen is a miniscule cruiserweight whose physical skills are in the arena of high-flying and quick. His opponent is a lumbering ox of a bodybuilder wearing clown makeup. Will Nielsen be able to chop down the tree, or will it just wind up falling on him? Start the stream and watch it on www.huge.e-wrestling.info!

Preston Mayfield -vs- Lightning Foot III.
--------------------------------------------
A mess as always, Mayfield may be living in the alley behind the Hellfire. Lightning Foot III is healthy by comparison, but fell short against the mass of a very fat man. It's a battle of the losers ... for the ages. Or something. CHECK IT!

“The After School Special” Dylan Scott -vs- Jason Dynamite.
--------------------------------------------
Coming up short against Antonio Morientes, Scott will attempt to make a name for himself in HUGE by beating the veteran Dynamite. It's well-known backstage that Scott wants to move up to the “big time” in PVW, and Dynamite's already been up to Phoenix, so look for statements to be made on Tuesday. Dynamite's a wily veteran, however, so he's got his work cut out for him. “What's going to happen!?” you ask? Well, only one way to find out -- WATCH!

“The King of the Cruiserweights” Twinkletoes Tiwilliger -vs- Antonio Morientes.
--------------------------------------------
Both men won their respective matches on the last HUGE Live! event, and so those closest to Barney Johnson are far from surprised that he'd program them against each other. Morientes is a hard-hitting technical wrestler, and Tiwilliger, while unable to see his own weight (or feet) is so big as to be an immovable object. It could be a classic, or it could be a catastrophe. Regardless, what comes after might be the real story to this one.

The Spectre -vs- -vs- Tre Jordan.
--------------------------------------------
Another pair of winners thrown into the mix against one another. Jordan is most famous for getting stomped on several occasions in the late, great WWO. Spectre's just famous for stomping people. The matchmakers are calling this a mismatch, and folks on the Scioto love to make bets, so this is the match that everyone's going to be watching! Check it out, HUGE LIVE~!!!

------------------------------------------------------------

10) OTHER NEWS.
------------------------------------------------------------

Since I didn't say so before, I'll say it now! Feel free to send in news snippets for this section with your strats or whatever.

-- Barney Johnson has had several employees around the Hellfire dress like him recently. Word around town is that this is to fool the Spectre, should the dreadlocked goth feel like beating up more authority figures.

Who was that masked man?

A mystery!
Have I told you how much I loathe your continued existence today?

I like how Tre Jordan gets bit in the balls, but he's not on the injury list.

But then, he's from the Great White North. He probably lost feeling to them years ago.

Oh, yeah, the testicular assault sucked ... but he walked it off. :P

That's why he got the match with the spectre next week. They're, like, the 2 toughest guys in the league!

As Dr. Cox said on Scrubs, that's like saying someone is the smartest person on The Hills.
