Okay, there's been a lot of discussion on some of the matches. I think it might've been our strongest PPV in a while, every match had a point with no filler. Now which one was your absolute favorite?

I liked a lot of the matches ... I think Gamma - Elliott was very good and perhaps will be underated when compared to some of the others. However Martinez - Damann was just amazing perhaps even in the discussion of MOTY when you get down to it?

Yep, we decided that I screwed myself by not getting the show out in the calendar year of 2008. :)

Better to have deferred it - there were some clear cut favorites for the Year Ends '08 [but I won't say who - that's for you all to find out this Tuesday!].

And you don't have to remember it just for the YE '09 - just make sure you keep it in mind for the Semisquaretablammies '09 to be released in July!

There needs to be like a thread ongoing through the whole year with an existing link to the matches wildly enjoyed so we can go back and remember. January may be hard to remember in 10-11 months. I'll count on you to remind me Jer! :)

Although, I'm one of the dirty dozen that voted for the DaMann-Martinez apocalyptic cataclysm, despite the fact it was way too extreme for my personal tastes.
In content, it wasn't my favorite, but the fact it was the match I was most interested in put it above the rest.
Had I read the beginning of the MiB angle, I might have thought differently, I don't know.

Hey, I voted for AE/LK because I didn't want to vote for myself!

Most of the credit belongs to everyone involved who wasn't me. Jay came to me with the angle, pretty much laid out the skeleton of it (I added a few things, but I only built on what Jay laid out.)

Credit also belongs to Mike, who pretty much indulged me in all of my wacky ideas. And of course, credit also goes to Jeff, who dragged me out of what I had considered a real retirement and into the UWF in the first place.
