What brave booking!

Mark Stone running down the aisle and murdering every man, woman and child in Orlando!

Visionary!

And blaming Stone evolves once again... I blame Stone.

To think we have found a horse that will never die.

A great show! The Damann and Martinez was an outstanding match! Kinsey and Extreme errr Epstein was was at the outmost quality of a back and forth war. Good ending and nice send off for a great champion.

One of the better hybrid Sum shows as it didn't even really feel like a Sum show that I have ever read.

I think the fact Beeby spread in commentary from the announcers every now and then really broke up the monotony that usually happens when you read a straight summary show. It's a really nice touch that keeps the action flowing and is something I bet, isn't nearly as time consuming as writing a real fully detailed match.

I agree.
Typical summaries leave out something I really love: announce team banter. It's entertaining, usually funny, tells an idiot like me who the faces/heels are, and helps make big spots seem bigger.
So in this case, we get the best of both worlds - cards that aren't as labor intensive to put out, yet still gripping because you do get some crowd reactions and/or announcers input.

I sorta wish this is how every SNR looked, now...

Thank you for putting out another cycle of shows, Mr. Beeby!

Yeah, that adds a good deal of quality to the matches. Otherwise, one can tend to scroll a little faster without it.

Biggest plus of the night? Besides Tommy Stephens showing up briefly, of course [that poor man, battling the bottle, taking time to attend the event - what a guy!]? The Martinez/DaMann match. Very nicely done, even if mostly played out as expected. The main event was done well, too even if mostly played out as expected [didn't I just say that?]

Learning about his new manager. Let's just say that Tommy's strategies will now involve 90% top rope moves.

Well, we can all thank Flouzemaker for the style. He's the one who came up with the hybrid style with adding commentary in there for his match, I just kinda followed suit. It really does help bang matches out in less time, that's for sure.

Excellent show! Alex Martinez vs Trey DaMann was nuts and awesome! The finish was cruel and brutal and the post-match was awesome! The main event was really good too though I was sad Kinsey lost, especially after such a great promo before the match. I dug the story of it all though, from Kinsey's promo to how the match and the finish played out, it all worked and seemed planned that way and it came off great! I dug the Sonya Benedict vs Donna Tetrault (sp?) match alot as well! At first the stipulation finish deal went a little over my head but once I read it over again with the stipulation in mind the match rocked alot more and it rocked the first time I read it. I will say the blind stipulation thing added alot of tension cos you didn't know WHAT could cause a finish in the match. Everything was really great and OH, the Gabriel Whitecross-Derek Martin segment, please tell me they're going to feud and have a gigantic blow off match? MUST HAPPEN! Very very good show!

But Tommy only can do sentons and frog splashes - such a rigorous style could very likely break his back... or make him have a belly ache! Not even his super mystical Samoan powers [which he has stolen from one who will not be named] could help him then!

A Samoan-powered Tommy Stephens-style senton would be the end of us all.

Yeah I do like the hybrid format. I think PVW uses a hybrid style for their Damage Control SUM matches, but the format UWF uses is awesome!

K, need to dole out thank yous...

First, I'd like to thank Andy and Fletch.

MiB was Fletch's idea. He might not see this post but my hope is he'll hear about it. UEW might be where I came from but RCW was where I grew and really took an evolutionary step. And that's because Fletch helped make that happen.

Andy...that rp was awesome. Made me look stupid. Andy also was a serious force in making MiB happen. I greatly appreciate all his help in this and the way he put me over. Simply awesome. Thank you.

I came to UWF--sigh ready for this--to be one of Rick Styles lackeys. :chairbash:

I was UEW champ at the time, Damian Bruno was begging on my behalf and I couldn't get in. It took Styles bringing in Colby and Extreme as a tag team to get me in the door. My guess is Mike won't have remembered that.

In my wildest dreams did I ever imagine my character's name and UWF champion in the same sentence. Hell even this time I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and somehow not get it.

I thank guys like Bob, COB, and Sonsby who worked with me and helped me get where I am now in UWF.

Hell, I retired Serge Annis--which to this day I still think I didn't do enough. If I won it was crap. I never should have won. Annis should have made it so that couldn't identify AE with dental records.

The Augustine feud was huge. COB was huge. When I got to UWF, Augustine was the man. That I got to work with him and that character was awesome.

Crap, I almost forgot Phil. Caliban and EW4 are still two of my all time favs. I only wish we'd got the chance to do EW4-AE. But hell that beating with the golf clubs to start Martial Law was huge.

Crap, almost forgot Daryl who until we grabbed Dave, it was AE-SoC alliance. LOL, Darryl say we needed a name--guess we really never did need one did we?

Lastly Mike Beeby.

I sent Mike an email the other day and I'm not ashamed to say it: I'm honored to be a UWF champion. Its a priviliege. This fed has been around a decade. He didn't have to let me be champion. But I've earned that right and trust to which I say...

Thank You.

Can't promise my run as champ will be memorable or great but I'm going to do everything I can to show people why I earned this right. Just hope my current job and work schedule lets me. :dontknow:

K, I went far too sally field but I just felt it needed to be said.

Night all...

Jeff

Jeff it was indeed great to see the MiB story unfold over the two leagues. I've handled a ton with you and you were one of my first champions in a small crap fed in 1996 EUWF and later a main stay in AWMC. I can honestly say that if anyone earned a chance to be the top dog in a historic league like UWF it's you.

I look forward to a long championship reign!

Now that he's posted that, I fully expect Rick Styles to make a surprise appearance on the first SNR of his reign and take Epstein's belt via a blimp dropping a grenade on him.

You jinxed yourself Jeff! You jinxed yourself GOOD.
