TOTAL DRAMA WRESTLING UPDATE 1/28/10 And we keep moving on. I've been happy with everyone's work thus far and look forward to the coming shows. A reminder: When your character is voted off, stick around, because the characters that get voted off will still play an important role in the final shows. SHOW FOUR: WE'RE LUMBERJACKS AND WE'RE OKAY The challenge: Everyone should know about the lumberjack match and how it works... but the folks at TDW have their own ideas and that such a match must be taken to its logical conclusion. The detailed explanation: Everyone will gather up two by fours (all the same length) and transport them to their own individual ring, working to fill it up. The catch is this: Competitors can either gather two by fours from the common pile at the wood shop, or they can opt to steal them from somebody else's ring and take them to their own ring. And if you see somebody taking lumber from your ring... do you try to stop them or figure the best way is to get more lumber? Regardless of how the competitors approach it, the wrestler with the most lumber in the ring (based on upon an individual count) when the 15-minute time limit expires is the winner. What your strat should include: The two by fours in the wood shop are all the same size, so there is no advantage to which ones you grab (they are about the length of the two by four Hacksaw Jim Duggan carries to ringside). Instead, your strat should cover whether you are going to head to the wood shop and gather lumber there, or wait for the opportune moment to strike and swipe lumber from other people's rings. And if someone steals from your ring, what are you going to do about it... steal it back or use other methods to take them down? Regardless of where you get your lumber, also strat for how much you gather at a time (just list a flat number you'll go with, not a range of numbers). And if you wish to use the two by fours as weapons... well, nothing is stopping you from that if you think it will help you. What your flashes should include: Either in front of the TDW backdrop or in your cell is fine... only rule: No flashes incorporating The Lumberjack Song. That's been reserved for other usage. DEADLINE: Your roleplays and strats are due SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6. Send everything to ratsportrm at yahoo.com. |
