Did I miss something? 'Axis' first match'? Did I hallucinate the match with Tommy Stephens?
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

Any record of Tommy Stephens ever losing any matches has officially been retconned out of existence.

A character gets TWO debut wins, and he still finds a way to complain.

There's no pleasing some people!

It was so much easier when Axis could be humbled by roll-up pins.

Now, I know that roll-ups occur all the time, so why is it that only Johnny Axis is incapable of living them down?

Yknow whatd be funny? A rollup for a finisher. Call it the ROD, or "rollup of doom."

Hey technically EW4 used to use a Schoolboy as his finish (the Power Trip)...

...

...okay, okay. So it was off the top rope.

That still counts, right?

Moo.

Yknow whatd be funny? A rollup for a finisher. Call it the ROD, or "rollup of doom."

To unlock the history vault, a tag team I handled called The Twin Ninjas had a roll up finisher. Chris Nelson leapt off the top rope with a flying clothesline while Matt Richards crouched behind the opponent, rolling them up as they tumbled backwards from the clothesline.

It didn't get over.

The Juan Vasquez psychotic break roll-up pin has broken the minds of...

Johnny Axis
Chris Courtade
Alex Extreme
Luke Kinsey
Jake Shaw
Oz Rivera

I don't dare use it too often, because everyone that fell victim to it ends up with a better storyline.

Yeah, but, uh ... that was a tag team, right. So it's ... different?

Yeah. Different.

(Okay, maybe not.)

PS: Carmichael quoting my post reminded me of something. There's a dearth of faces in UWF, right? I was having a conversation with someone, (I forget who as I'm quite tired) the subject came up, and all we could figure out were 4 faces; John Shock, Axis, Tommy Stephens and the ironically named "Epitome of Evil" Serge Annis. There must be more. Anyone care to chime in to help tally up the true sum of UWF's good guys?
