Since there's some that read this board that haven't continuously followed UWF... and since the fed does read back to its history quite often... I thought maybe one or two or twelve of you could list some of UWF's "legends". And, for the more informed, list some of the more infamous UWF'ers too. |

Some might argue that they may or may not be legends in the whole scheme of e-wrestling (same goes for everyone listed in this thread really), but these are UWF Legends that had a profound impact on the federation at one point in time or another. Others not yet listed in the thread... Some Infamous UWF'ers... for one reason or another. Raekwon, Shaolin & Chamoflage Chameleon (New World Disasters) - Ok look, you go read the UWF archive and you'd put them first too... Apocalypse - Who? Ace Malone - Possibly E-wrestling's first fake death angle (He was a pilot and was killed in a crash, only to come back weeks later as a surprise) "Nuclear" John Bomber - YEAAAAAAAAAAARGH! "Officer" Mark Durman - A crooked cop.. wasn't the worst... but if you look at the namesake Psychosis - The leader of The Asylum stable... Ugh. Kyle Backwood - Spazzed. Spazzed hard. Andrew "Godzilla" Blanchard - Another Asylum reject The Twin Ninja's - Ninja 1, Ninja 1, manager named Shinobi. Who wrote that crap? The Knick Man - Even Isiah would trade him. Now I'm curious and have to ask, Steve. What happened with "Playboy" Ronnie D. in the UWF? I know the EMWC side of things and what transpired between Ronnie and Blue (I've seen the log of the chat and watched you try to play mediator). I just lost interest when he joined the UWF. Did he leave in the same manner he left EMWC or what? |

Speaking of Knick Man, I seem to remember there being a Knick man vs. Chris Hopper Hell in a Cell match at a PPV. Gold Rush maybe. And now I too am interested in the saga of Ronnie D. How did it all end up? |

Was Desperado back in the mid to late 90's? Say around 97 to 98? I think he may be the same character I was in a fed with around that time. The handler was a decent guy. If it's the Jay I'm thinking, he also handled a character named Red Raven. I still remember King Apples. I think the UWF was where he rubbed his "go-t." |

On the Knick Man/Hopper match, yes, that happened. Only Knick Man was "His Majesty" John Williams, basically the answer to the WWF "King" gimmicks from the 80s. I don't remember much about Ronnie D (wasn't in UWF at the time) but I think his stay didn't last long at all. |

I don't remember much of what happened in the UWF either. I think I lost interest in the game, no offense to anyone that reads this. I think I subsequently retired, and wrote a retirement show complete with a match versus Diamondback Chris Myers, and then my P133 crashed and I lost all the data. And so ended the illustrious career of "Playboy" Ronnie D. Why I am replying to a 1 year old thread about a 7 year old event is beyond me. Ronnie D |

Yes.....there was a Knick Man (Williams) vs Hopper match..... It was during Hopper's decent-length reign as Rampage Champion after coming over from UEW. My fondest memories of Ronnie D were from fletch's NeCW way back when......he was cocky, but funny. I always wanted to feud with him and have fun. |
