Barrister announces the match ups for round three:

01. Dixie Irregulars
07. Tornado Honda and Mr. Crash

06. The Volunteers
13. Jack Britain and Bart Batterson

Commissioner Patrick Barker is announced and he makes an important announcement: this round will be a good old fashioned Indian Strap match. Barker does not want to delay the last two rounds so he makes his way out of the ring as the crowd is apprehensive about this latest development. Barrister and Terwilliger wonder if it is wise to have such a devestating match when the finals are to be fought afterwards. Terwilliger decides that if the teams agreed to this sort of thing, then on with the show.

Highlights are shown of the first two rounds, with attention paid to the four remaining teams: The Dixie Irregulars, Tornado Honda & Mr. Crash, The Volunteers and Jack Britain & Bar Batterson. The vignettes are done and the first pair of teams are in the ring. We see the long leather straps being tied to the right wrists of Blake and Honda as well as Hicks and Mr. Crash. The bell rings and the crowd is full of vim and vigor on this second night.

MATCH ONE, ROUND THREE:

#1 The Dixie Irregulars (Alvie Blake & Montgomery Hicks) vs. #7 Tornado Honda & Mr. Crash

Blake and Honda immediately start trading kicks with Mr. Crash unexpectedly slides out of the ring, taking Hicks with him. Crash manages to pull a surprised hicks to the ring post and racks him on the hard steel. Honda has the better of Blake in the kicks department but Blake evens the score with a fierce left hand. Blake then proceeds to whip Honda while Crash has pulled Hicks out of the ring and is using the strap as a leash, tossing Hicks in one direction then pulling on the strap to get him into another direction. In the ring Blake has the strap wrapped around his left fist and is going to town on Honda's head. Torando Honda is bleeding while Hicks is having a rough go on the outside against Mr. Crash. Crash has almost forgotten about Blake when Blake uses much of the slack as a noose and catches Crash by surprise and starts choking the Japanese star. This gives Hicks enough time to get his bearings straight and "Genteel" Montgomery is anything but as he shoulder charges the exposed gut of the gasping Mr. Crash. Honda comes from behind with a double axe handle to Blake's back, ending the choke hold on Tornado's partner.

Honda's face is dripping with blood while we can see Hicks's back and shoulder are red from the punishment he has taken. Honda stomps on Blake's head and delivers a release suplex that almost uses the entire amount of slack from the strap. Honda smacks Blake across the face with the strap and delivers several knees directly to the neck. Mr. Crash and Hicks climb back into the ring, and Hicks gives Honda a big ole boot to the face, driving Crash into the turnbuckles. Hicks then grabs Crash and whips him into Honda. Hicks and Blake combine for an atomic drop/strap clothesline on Mr. Crash and Hicks gets the pinfall.

Winners: The Dixie Irregulars via pinfall (Clothesline @ 28:05)

The teams look spent in the middle of the ring, but they acknowledge one another as Honda is looked at by the medical crew thanks to blood loss. Hicks, Blake and Crash greedily suck down water before Crash goes to be with his tag team partner in the back. The crowd gives a round of applause to Tornado Honda and then the rest of the wrestlers. Barrister hopes Commissioner Barker signs the Japanese team because they could probably stand toe to toe with the Tidal Waves. Terwilliger says the Pacific Northwest smells like wet dog and a Greatful Dead concert. A cut to the ring tells us that Jimmy Owens and Britain will be tied together, leaving Spivey and Batterson to one another. The teams nod and the bell rings. Barrister tells us he thinks that Britain and Batterson may have an advantage because they are bigger. Terwilliger thinks Barrister is old and asks him about dentures.

MATCH TWO, ROUND THREE:

#6 The Volunteers (Jimmy Owens & Robert Spivey) vs. #13 Jack Britain & Bart Batterson

Owens and Spivey deliver dropkicks in stereo to Britian and Batterson. A pair for Britain as he gets up then a pair for Batterson as he gets up. The duo take Britain and Batterson into opposing corners and then whip B & B into one another and give them another set of dropkicks. The audience squeals while Batterson and Britain try to gather their wits. Britain is whipped towards Spivey, but Britain ducks the clothesline and rocks Owens with a tackle. Batterson grabs a turned around Spivey from behind with a half nelson. Spivey is stuck in the nelson as Owens and Britain square off. Owens is still dazed from the tackle as Britain rares back and unleashes a strong overhand right. Britain then throws Owens towards Spivey. Batterson shoves Spivey into Owens and the two knock heads. Strap wrapped punches to the woozy Volunteers and they collide into one another yet again.

Batterson goes for a double arm chicken wing on Owens while Britain delivers a Lou Thesz press on Spivey, even though those are not their strap partners. Spivey manages to shove off Britain while Owens is in a tremendous amount of pain. Spivey is going for a double axe handle on Batterson when Britain shoulder charges him about halfway across the ring. The end result is Batterson being yanked just enough for him to inadvertantly break his hold. Owens is a sweaty mess while Spivey is on all fours. Britain pulls up Owens by his hair and Batterson does the same to Spivey, but Spivey hits Batterson in the gut, mirroring Owens. Spivey does a drop toe hold while Owens shoves Britain into the front falling Batterson. Batterson and Britain knock heads, causing Batterson to bleed from his forehead. Owens signals for the top rope and launches himself towards Britain with a clothesline, but Batterson has the presence of mind (still) to pull Britain down, causing Owens to hit Spivey. Britain trips the now confused Owens and holds him down as Batterson crawls onto Spivey for the 3 count. Another upset for the Cinderella kids as they knock off the Volunteers!

Winners: Jack Britain & Bart Batterson (Owens Top Rope Clothesline own parter @ 33:14)

Britain and Batterson are sucking wind with Owens and Spivey looking completely spent. Patrick Barker announces a 25 minute intermission before... a steel cage match of DOOM! Our friends in the audience howl and shake Seattle while Barrister voices a bit of disappointment that things will be settled with a cage when good ole straight fists would do. Everett loves it because it means more blood, more craziness and more to talk about.

A commerical for Woolfort Air, fly Australia! Another commerical for Bouyz Old Fashioned Beef Snax then their competition gets a commerical as Fat Boy Meat Sausages get some love. Finally, a young man in his teens talks about Led Zepplin and how he hates the Green Bay Packers on a taste of the Northwest.

The Evergreen States Grand Prix logo shows up again while Commissioner Barker has invited himself to the announce table with "The Voice of the Cascades" Francis Barrister and Everett "True Crime, I Needed a Cool Nickname" Terwilliger. Barrister voices some concern about a steel cage match after such intense semi-final matches but Barker says the teams loved the idea and the fans really loved the idea. Terwilliger asks if Barker will give him some money so he can visit the Portland ballet.

THE NOR' WESTERN TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINALS:

#1 The Dixie Irregulars (Alvie Blake & Montgomery Hicks) vs. #13 Jack Britain & Bart Batterson

The teams are in the cage and those in attendance are stomping their feet and yelling various words of encouragement. The two teams shake hands and then the bell rings, starting the action. Hicks kicks Batterson in the shins while Blake does a collar and elbow tie up with Britain. Batterson is thrown into the cage, showing Hicks is all business, while Britain and Blake are jockeying for control. The referee finally gets Hicks and Batterson out of the ring, much to the relief of Batterson, who has been rebusted open. Britain gets the better of Blake in the collar and elbow tie up, going to a side headlock into a bulldog. Surprising offense but it makes sense since both teams are not fully rested. Hammerlock on Blake, with Britain yanking on the arm. Blake reverses and sends Britain into the ropes... and the cage. A big ole rattle and Britain bounces off, but surprises a charging Blake with a powerslam into the cage. Fan eruption as Britain tags in Batterson. The two throw Blake headfirst into the cage and Blake is now bleeding.

Batterson gets onto Blake's right arm and wraps his legs around the arm, in an armbar. Blake is in agony and Batterson keeps the hold for a good while. Blake pounds the mat, telling the referee he will not submit. Finally, Batterson releases the hold thanks to Hicks yelling something about Batterson's momma, something we cannot repeat in polite company and something that is, thankfully, censored. Barrister and Barker are shocked. Everett says he needs to find a pen, and quick, before he forgets this play on words. Batterson goes up to Hicks and slaps him in the face. This gives Blake a chance to catch his breath... and a chance to schoolboy roll Batterson. A quick two count leads to Batterson standing up with authority but he is pushed into the Irregulars' corner and a punch party is had, with Hicks and Blake punching Batterson one after the other. Batterson falls down, woozy, and Blake tags in Hicks. Hicks jumps over the ropes with a knee drop. The other half of the Irregulars tosses Batterson into the ropes and then hits a flying forearm. Hicks gets up and punches Britain for good measure, causing Britain to try and enter the ring. Britain is cut off and admonished by the referee. This gives the Irregulars time to double whip Batterson and try to double backdrop him. Batterson double DDTs the Irregulars and leaps to tag... but the referee moved his focused to those Irregulars, telling Blake to get his tush out of the ring. No hot tag for Batterson, as Britain shows his frustration by pounding on the top turnbuckle.

Batterson is put through the ringer by Hicks and Blake, who continually tag in and out while cutting the ring in two. A sleeperhold keeps Batterson in place for almost 10 minutes, as Batterson comes so, so close to giving in. A few elbows to the gut, then a swinging neckbreaker gets Batterson back to almost even with Blake. The two legal men (Blake and Batterson) both crawl to one another's corner. Blake reaches Hicks first and "Genteel" Monty grabs Batterson's right leg, keeping Bart less than an inch from an outstretched Britain. Jack starts clapping his hands, trying to get crowd support, as Hicks drops a big knee onto the back of Batterson's neck. Bart's blood has stopped flowing but it may start over again as Hicks is about to throw him into the cage... but Batterson with a reversal! Hicks is laid out and Double B is almost spent, slowly crawling to the other side of the ring. Blake is hesistant but finally decides to step into the ring to try and pull Batterson away from Britain's tag once again. Bart is just inches away, one more short piece of mat to cross...

...and he tags in Britain. Jack is a blazing mad whirlwind. He cold cocks Blake and hip tosses a rushing Hicks. Another hiptoss to Blake, an Irish whip and clothesline to Hicks. A punch to Blake then a kick to Hicks. Britain body slams Blake... but Hicks with the presence of mind to shove Britain into the referee! Surprising number of boos from the crowd. Batterson warily steps into the ring but he is tackled by Blake and then shoved into the cage. Britain is now fighting two men. He stands toe to toe for awhile, getting the better of the two Irregulars. The referee is stirring and Britain is signally for a finish. JB takes up Hicks and slams him down with a bridging German suplex! Referee counts: 1... 2... 3!!! Britain and Batterson celebrate while Hicks and Blake are stunned. The crowd is hot but wait...

...the referee is raising Hicks hand! Head referee Leslie Bombay says Hicks had his shoulder up while Britain did not. Replays show that Hicks barely, and just barely, gets his right shoulder up. The tag team of Britain and Batterson, the Cinderella team from the Graceland Grappling Organization, have just had their clock strike midnight. Celebrating in the ring are the Dixie Irregulars.

Winners: The Dixie Irregulars via pinfall (German Suplex @ 48:29)

Terwilliger praises the Irregulars' willingness to go that extra mile for the win while Barrister would love to see a rematch. Commissioner Barker says that could be a possibly considering the reorganization of the North American Grappling Council territorial alliance. Barrister presses Barker but the Commissioner excuses himself because he must present the winners their check and trophy.

Commissioner Barker is in the cage with the Dixie Irregulars (Blake and Hicks). He states he is proud to present the Irregulars a check for $2,500 and the 5' tall Nor'West Tag Team Commemorative Trophy and shows off the soon to be engraved Nor'Western Cup. Hicks and Blake say they are honored to have won, having faced the best the tag team world could offer and still showing that the Dixie Spirit an overcome anything. The Irregulars pay their respects to Britain and Batterson, saying those two will be a force to be reckon with after a few more years under their belt. "Dixie" begins to play over the public address system as Barrister says good-bye from the whole ESGP family. A shot of the celebrating Irregulars in the ring is the last image as the scene fades out.
