Miller tried to take the advantage with a quick right, but the seemingly unfazed Ulysses simply clubbed him on the back of the neck, whipped him into the ropes, and DECAPITATED HIM WITH A LARIAT! 2.8! Ulysses peeled Miller off the canvas, headbutted him, and swung him onto his shoulder! CRUSH RUSH! It's over! 3!

Post-match, Daniel Stann seemed reluctant to get into the ring, but eventually approached Ulysses. WILL! BE! CRRRRUUUUUUUUSSSSSSHHED!"

Debut Battle: Doug Chase vs. Lex Fox

Springfield slid between Landell's legs, Landell turned around, DROPKICK TO THE FACE! Landell got to his feet shakily, spinning neckbreaker! 2.5! Springfield argued with the referee a little bit, but soon returned to his submission routine by first applying a crossface hold, and then shifting into the seated armbar. Landell popped Springfield in the jaw to buy himself some time, causing Springfield to fume for a second before clocking Landell in return, then DDT him into the canvas! Springfield wasn't finished, bringing Landell back to his feet, then rushing him across the ring, DASHING DESIGN! Slingshot over the top, FASHION VICTIM! 3!
Winner: Dash Springfield by pinfall (Fashion Victim, 6:53)

The Royal Lancers headed down to the ring for Jay Mathers's match. Jay got the microphone and mentioned that tomorrow was Independence Day, but what was more important was that today was Steve Mathers's birthday. He said that the Lancers had been hired to deal with Byron Maloka, so for Ms. Chandra Taylor in the back and his brother Steve, he was gonna beat the piss out of Byron Maloka. Jay tried to lead the crowd in "Happy Birthday," but Maloka's music cut him off. Byron Maloka arrived, accompanied by Brian Jackson, neither man in a good mood.

A~4 Qualifying Heat: Jay Mathers vs. Byron Maloka
Maloka jumped onto the apron and tried to enter the ring, but Jay rushed him at the ropes, clubbing him over the back. Jay controlled with a series of knee drops and crossfaces. Maloka got the ropes often, but Jay was lax in breaking the holds, and always went right back to it. Eventually he guided Maloka up to his feet and tossed him to the ropes, MALOKA SHOT BACK WITH A BRUCE LEE KICK -- EVADED! Maloka quickly sprang out onto the apron, then springboarded off the top rope, caught on Jay's shoulders! Samoan drop! 2.5! Maloka tried to get to his feet, but Jay caught him with a deep front facelock, using his weight to keep Maloka from rising. Maloka crawled back and got his foot on the bottom rope, which got an elbow drop across the back in response. 2! Jay shook his head, jawing at Jackson as he brought Maloka to his feet, SMALL PACKAGE COUNTER! 2! Both men shot to their feet and a stiff back elbow shot took Maloka to the mat.

Jay slowly collected Maloka, backing him into the ropes and whipping him off, and hit Maloka with a knee to the gut to flip him onto his back. Jay covered, grinding his forearm into Maloka's face: 2.5! Jay brought Maloka back to his feet and laid in right hands, then dropped him with a body slam. Jay hit the ropes and came back with a knee drop. 2.7! Jay took his time, measuring out his punishment selectively. Jay brought Maloka to his feet, hooked him up, and held him up for ten seconds before dropping him with a thunderous suplex! 2.8! Jay shook his head, brought Maloka to his feet, Maloka with right hands to the gut! Jay silenced Maloka with an elbow to the back of the skull, then hoisted him up once again: 17 seconds! Stick a fork in him! 2.9! Jay argued with the ref, but the ref didn't budge. Jay brought Maloka to his feet, signaled for the RAF Hurricane. He shot Maloka into the ropes, SWUNG HIM FOR THE RAF HURRICANE -- CRUCIFIX COUNTER! 2!

Jay recovered in the corner, rapidly pulling himself to a standing position. Maloka had rolled out of that near fall and charged at Jay, HIGH-SPEED DROPKICK TO THE GUT! Maloka out to the apron, springboarded off the top (barely avoiding Steve Jay's swipe), ROCKER DROPPER SMASHED JAY TO THE MAT! 2.5! Maloka bounced off the second rope, leg drop! 2.7! Maloka had to take a moment between each move to nurse his wounds, but he never lost focus. He dragged Jay away from the ropes, climbed to the top, MOONSAULT! 2.7! This time it took Maloka a bit longer to get up, and by the time he was on his feet, Jay was rising. Maloka headed to the opposite corner. As soon as Jay was on his feet, Maloka sprinted across the ring, BRUCE LEE KICK -- DENIED! Jay with a gutwrench suplex! 2.8 -- ropes!

Jay got Maloka into the corner and chopped him repeatedly, throwing every bit of it in the fan's faces. He railroaded Maloka into the opposite corner and immediately crushed him with a knee to the stomach. Then, after a single hard chop to Maloka's chest, Jay repeated the move. Maloka shook his head, hunched over, trying to get his breath back. Jay lifted the much smaller Maloka up to the top, then climbed up after him. Jay hooked Maloka for a superplex, but Maloka fought back with rights, then shoved Jay over the top rope! Jay landed on the apron, so Maloka kicked him in the face to send him to the floor and staggering back into the barricade! Maloka slowly got to his feet on the top rope, standing for a jump, STEVE MATHERS KNOCKED MALOKA OFF THE TOP ROPE! The referee called for the bell!
Winner: Byron Maloka by disqualification (17:11)

Steve pulled something from his boot as he got into the ring, setting Maloka up into the corner and grinding his knuckles into Maloka's eye. Jackson raced into the ring, but Steve turned around and caught him running with HUGE RIGHT HANDS! BRASS KNUCKS! Steve pounded away at Jackson's head with the knuckles, drawing blood. Eventually Maloka started to move, but Jay pulled Maloka out of the ring and threw him hard into the barricade! Jay started to climb into the ring, but was cut off by the arrival of Daniel Stann! Stann said that because this match ended in a DQ, Byron Maloka would be moving on to A~4! He also said that there were more spots available, and that since both Jackson and Steve were looking to move up in ALPHA, they would face each other next week for a spot!

Trapped in the LIONS' Den: LIONS F.C. (Rodrigo De La Zed and Josh Cameron) vs. Alexander Shaw & D.R. Kongo
Shaw started in for his side. As soon as Cameron decided to start for the LIONS, Kongo tried to change Shaw's mind, but Shaw insisted on starting.

Shaw and Cameron started by circling, each reaching out for tie-ups at different times, only for the other to avoid it. At length, they came together in a collar-and-elbow and immediately began jockeying for position. Shaw managed to secure a headlock, but Cameron forced him into the LIONS corner where DLZ made a blind tag and came in to lay some right hands into Shaw. DLZ and Cameron whipped Shaw into the ropes and caught him with a double back elbow. 1! DLZ immediately sank in a chinlock. He could only keep Shaw grounded for a few seconds before Shaw started to fight up, elbowing DLZ hard in the gut. DLZ fought back with a clubbing forearm, but ate a front elbow shot in return! Shaw went for a roaring elbow, but DLZ ducked and charged into the ropes, came back at full-speed, Shaw slung him over with an armdrag, sitting surfboard! DLZ refused to give. Shaw released the hold and drove his elbow into the back of DLZ's head. 2! Shaw dragged DLZ into a friendly corner and tagged Kongo in, holding DLZ down so Kongo could score an elbow drop. Kongo set DLZ up in the corner and fired off a series of stiff kicks that made DLZ slump down. Kongo rushed the ropes, BRUTAL KNEE TO DLZ'S FACE! 2.5 -- broken up by Cameron! Shaw hit the ring and the referee backed him up, allowing Cameron to kick Kongo across the shoulderblades before dipping back out of the ring.

Kongo brought DLZ to his feet slowly, wearing him down with chops. Snap suplex took DLZ back to the mat and Kongo floated over: 2.5! Kongo pounded the mat and then stood, laying in wait for DLZ. DLZ got up onto a knee, SUPERKICK -- CAUGHT! ANKLE LOCK! Kongo screamed as DLZ wrenched the hold in, grapevining the leg even. Shaw waited, hoping Kongo would be able to escape, but eventually he came in to make the save. As he was being ushered out, DLZ dragged Kongo over to his corner and tagged Cameron in, passing the ankle lock onto Cameron and then stomping Kongo's back until the ref shooed him away. Cameron dragged Kongo to the middle of the ring and stood on Kongo's ankle, dropped knees on it, stomped it, did whatever he could to injure that joint. Cameron wrenched in a standing ankle lock, leaning forward to put more pressure on. Kongo slowly pushed himself off the mat, balancing on his hands and one foot, then managed to boot Cameron in the chest and roll out of the hold! HOT TAG -- Cameron grabbed that ankle and yanked Kongo back! He pulled Kongo back to the LFC corner, tagged DLZ in, and DDT'd Kongo's foot into the mat!

DLZ immediately set to work on Kongo's ankle, dropping a round of elbows on it and finishing with a jumping elbow drop. DLZ brought Kongo to his feet and whipped him to the corner, but Kongo collapsed halfway, setting himself up for a running boot to the skull from DLZ. 2.6! DLZ helped Kongo to a standing position, holding onto Kongo's leg the whole way, then quickly dragon screwing him to the mat. Spinning toe hold! Kongo shook his head, refusing to give up, which only forced DLZ to apply more pressure. DLZ finally tried to turn Kongo over into the ankle lock, ROLL-UP! 2! DLZ up first, Kongo pulled DLZ throatfirst onto the rope! Shaw tagged in and immediately began cleaning house, dashing across the ring to elbow Cameron off the apron, then choked DLZ with the body guillotine! Cameron argued with the ref. Shaw with the butterfly suplex, straight into the stretch plum! He pulled back hard on the hold, trying to force DLZ to tap out. When it was clear DLZ wasn't going to, Shaw brought him to his feet and DRILLED HIM WITH A REVERSE DDT! 2.8! Shaw brought DLZ up again and whipped him into the ropes. Blind tag from Cameron! Shaw mowed DLZ down with an elbow shot, Cameron with the axehandle smash!

Cameron tugged the elbowpad off of Shaw's elbow and locked in a wakigatame. Shaw got the ropes, but Cameron took the opportunity to drop a knee on Shaw's exposed elbow. Cameron pulled Shaw to his feet and wrung the arm, right hands from Shaw! Cameron responded by twisting the arm again to regain control and tagging DLZ back into the ring. DLZ kicked Shaw's elbow, twisted the arm, and tagged right back out to Cameron, a process that repeated itself once more before Shaw caught DLZ in the mouth with a right and flattened him with a back suplex! It took both men a bit to get back to their feet, but Shaw took control with knife-edge chops to DLZ's chest, using his right hand. Shaw snapmared DLZ over, hit the ropes, NECK SPLASH WHIPLASHED DLZ BACK TO THE MAT! 2.7 -- broken up by Cameron! Kongo rushed the ring, STRONG KICK -- Cameron ducked and escaped to the outside! Kongo limped back to his corner. Shaw locked a camel clutch in on DLZ. Cameron charged the ring again, but Kongo was there to meet him this time with right hands! The referee tried to restore order, but couldn't. STRONG KICK -- ducked again! Cameron dumped Kongo over the top rope, but Kongo held on and both of them tumbled to the floor! Shaw peeled DLZ off the mat, FALCON ARROW! 3!
Winners: Alexander Shaw & D.R. Kongo by pinfall (falcon arrow pin on Rodrigo De La Zed, 21:11)

On the outside, Kongo and Cameron continued to trade shots. Kongo's weakened knee betrayed him, allowing Cameron to ram Kongo's head into the post. Shaw headed out and whipped Cameron into the barricade! Nathan Rageous and John Hurst rush down to ringside! Shaw tried to fight them off single-handed, but was rapidly losing the fight. KONGO BLASTED RAGEOUS WITH A STRONG KICK! HURST DRILLED KONGO WITH A BACKDROP DRIVER! SHAW DROPPED HURST WITH A CHAIRSHOT! Shaw swung the chair like a madman, keeping the LFC at bay.
