Did you actually read that IWF card, Terry? That was 13 years ago, and I know it was the Underground getting beaten down after laying out the members of the opposing alliance from when the Underground first entered the fed. I don't remember there being a boulder. Just a German suplex outside the ring. If ya got the card, send my way? |

My character was killed when his opponent botched a superplex attempt, and he landed on the floor head first. It took him three years to recover from that death... |

Would it still be wrestlecrap if someone faked his own death in an attempt to frame another guy? 'Cause, y'know, I always thought that'd be kinda funny... |

One of the first e-feds I was ever in (a board fed) had death matches. The losing character would be killed. I think one was electrocution and the other was beheading. Only a few took place but it was an option to end feuds. Yeah... |

Yeah, I was in SWF and Phoenix or whoever no-sold his "death" via being powerbombed through a scythe so he could wrestle on the ppv for the world title by explaining it was a body double(Why would he need a body double? Oh...to avoid getting killed by powerbombs into scythes...) that was killed. The guy that got german suplexed onto the boulder and got piledriven into it right after. Unfortunately, I don't have the card. I just read it on the IWF site a long time ago and remember it, because it was so bizarre. |

Your memory is a steel trap. Pegasus was German suplexed out of the ring and onto this boulder and then piledriven onto the boulder. I remember Pegasus being on the receiving end of that German suplex and being forced to drink anti-freeze. |

When I was co-fedheading Sin City Championship Wrestling in the NWC in the fall of 1998, we had a guy who got busted big time for stealing other people's roleplays and trying to pass them off as his own. We had actually been pushing him at the time based on what we thought was really good work, so we were understandably pissed and embarrassed when we found out, and decided punishment needed to be meted out. So, we had an undercard guy we had created for comedic purposes called Kanu the Nigerian Beast. He was about 500 pounds and he would run after kids who had hot dogs to get their food, and was often found wandering the arena aimlessly while eating something. The handler we were about to punish turned in an in ring promo for his guy (we didn't even bother to see whether or not it was really his) and we interrupted him by dropping Kanu on him from the rafters, killing the guy's character in mid-interview. I will say that it is to the credit of the handler in question that he didn't even bother to write to complain about it and took his punishment like a man. What made the whole thing actually pretty cool in the end was his stable-mates took this unexpected turn of events and ran with it. They roleplayed their sadness over the sudden passing of their friend, and even did a memorial service on card for him. SCCW was always one of the more popular NWC regions because of the unexpected shit that we would drop into cards from time to time (We even did Musical Chairs in August 1998 for an SCCW TV Title shot), and the fed is actually still alive today, being run by former NWC handlers, though it's nothing like it used to be. It was still e-wrestlecrap, but it worked pretty well in the end. |
