Our first King of Savage has been crowned, but it was not without controversy! And in the sport of professional wrestling, controversy is not handled in back-room deals by suits. It's handled in the middle of the squared circle! ALPHA 15: The Era of Savage Begins marked the start of championship gold and championship violence as those who believe they were wronged seek to right those crimes and those who are at the top of the mountain strive to stay there. If you missed ALPHA 15 when it aired, don't fret! You can order it on demand! Just call 1 800 MOD ERNV or visit www.modernvision.com now!

Due to administrative issues, our recap is late, but it is provided as always by our reliable reporter Charlie Reager.

Exaction Retraction with Even More Action: Byron Maloka & Brian Jackson vs. Lex Fox & Andre Miller
Maloka and Fox started the match by circling around the ring. Fox was eager to excahnge holds, but Maloka used his quickness to speed around the ring. Fox kept up admirably, but he was still just a quarter-step behind, which allowed Maloka to catch Fox with a back kick to the jaw! Fox rolled back into his corner, stunned, and tagged Miller in. Miller and Maloka locked up, Maloka swung around, schoolboy! 2! Miller lunged for a lariat, whiffed, Maloka kicked him chest first into the corner! Maloka and Jackson worked quick tags, keeping the pressure on Miller heavily. Miller tried for tags several times, but Maloka and Jackson managed to cut him off every time.

Jackson shot Miller into the ropes and took him down with a back elbow shot. He peeled Miller off the mat and sent him in again, but this time Miller caught on! Jackson with a clothesline that took both men out to the floor! Maloka pulled himself to the top turnbuckle, looking ready to fly! The Royal Lancers pushed their way through the crowd, daring Maloka! Maloka hesitated, Lex Fox pulled him off the top! Maloka's face smacked into the buckle! The ref tried to get Fox out of the ring, but Fox shoved him aside! BOOT LOADER (sole food)! Miller took advantage of the distraction as well and slammed Jackson's face on the apron before rolling him inside. 2! Fox called for the tag and Miller gave it! Tandem suplex! 2.5! Fox remained in control, punishing Jackson and preventing him from tagging out to Maloka. He exchanged tags with Miller but neither could quite get the three count.

Jackson began to work up some steam with lefts and rights into Fox, but Fox snapped a kick into Jackson's shin, dragged him to the corner, SECOND ROPE SENTON! 2.8 -- ropes! Fox shook his head, tagging out to Miller. They sent Jackson off the ropes and looked for a tandem lariat, but Jackson ducked! Jackson out to the apron, he ran along until he was close to his corner again, then got back into the ring, tag to Maloka! Maloka slingshotted over and split-kicked both Fox and Miller! Fox rolled out of the ring, but Miller caught a snap mare! Dropkick to the back of the skull! Tag out to Jackson! Tandem suplex! THA WRECKA! That's all, folks! Fox tried to intervene, but Maloka baseball slide kicked him to the barricade! 3!
Winner: Byron Maloka & Brian Jackson+ by pinfall (Tha Wrecka on Miller, 13:30)

Fox fumed after the match. As Miller was getting his bearings back, Fox hit the ring and began laying fists into his former partner. DDoS ATTACK!

Sadist Singles Match: Javier Sikkan vs. Jake Landell
The match began with an exchange of simple holds, both men holding their own. Landell took Sikkan to the mat with a drop toe hold and struggled to maintain control of the leg. Sikkan rolled to his back and planted an upkick into Landell's face, bloodying his nose in the process! The two locked up again and Landell immediately snatched a side headlock for control. Landell managed to grind the headlock in for a few seconds before Sikkan landed a couple of shots to loosen the hold enough to shoot Landell into the ropes. Sikkan dropped on the rebound and Landell hopped over, continuing to the far ropes. Landell caught a low spin kick to the gut. Sikkan quickly followed up with a snapmare and a spine kick! 2! Sikkan picked Landell up from the mat and peppered him with a few short forearm strikes to back him into the ropes. Sikkan grabbed Landell by the wrist to shoot him to the ropes, but Landell reversed with an arm twisting duck-under and and broke Sikkan's hold on his arm. Landell leaped into the air and connected with a beautiful high dropkick to Sikkan's face! Landell rushed to meet Sikkan as he got up from the mat and quickly twisted the arm up once more. Sikkan struggled against the hold before managing to create some distance by pressing Landell's head back. Sikkan rolled through the arm lock and sent Landell flying with a quick torque of the hips on an arm drag! The two squared off in fighting stances to a respectful applause from the audience. They locked hands in a test of strength. Sikkan used leverage on Landell's knee to power him back, but Landell bridged onto his head and pushed back to his feet. The two struggled once more, this time with Sikkan being pushed back. Sikkan bridged as well, but Landell jumped and came driving down with double knees to Sikkan's stomach! Sikkan held his bridge! Landell jumped once more, but Sikkan wouldn't be pinned. On the third attempt, Sikkan met Landell's hips with his feet and rolled forward. Sikkan flies into the air from the momentum and snatched Landell's head with his legs on the way down, flipping him over with a perfect huracanrana! 2.5! Landell got a shoulder up at the last second, clearly still dazed from the last move.

Sikkan continued to work over Landell for the next few minutes and pushed the pace, keeping Landell on the defensive. Landell fell victim to some vicious leg kicks from Sikkan that took away a lot of opportunities for him. Landell managed to score with a few weak strikes that stalled Sikkan, but he quickly recovered and dropped Landell leg sweep. With Landell on the mat, Sikkan ran and bounced off the middle rope, executing a springboard moonsault. Landell rolled out of the way, but Sikkan landed on his feet! Sikkan charged Landell, who ducked under and grabbed Sikkan by the shoulders. Landell leapt sloppily on dead legs to Sikkan's shoulders for a victory roll, but Sikkan blocked. Landell threw a few punches to Sikkan's head, but they did no damage. Sikkan pushed Landell up and swept the legs, sending him crashing face first to the mat! Landell struggled to push himself up to a knee, Sikkan measuring him all the way. When Landell finally got to his knee, Sikkan fired a bludgeon of a buzzsaw kick to Landell's head, causing him to twist and crash to the mat violently. Sikkan turned Landell over. 3!
Winner: Javier Sikkan by pinfall (buzzsaw kick, 8:18)

The Train Rolls On: Barron Ulysses vs. Doug Chase
Chase was in no hurry to engage with Ulysses and circled cautiously at a distance. Chase shot under an arm and cinched in a back waist lock, struggled to move the monster, and failed. Ulysses swung one of his massive arms back and smashed Chase with an elbow to the head. Ulysses charged backward and slams Chase into a corner. The wind was immediately knocked out of Chase, who slumped in the corner before being thrown to the opposite corner by Ulysses. He followed up with a running lariat in the corner and dragged Chase to center ring by the back of his singlet. Ulysses planted a strong club across Chase's back, keeping him standing by his grip on the singlet. He hoists him up over his shoulder and walks around the ring with the fading Chase draped before planting him with a Crush Rush! 3!
Winner: Barron Ulysses by pinfall (Crush Rush pin, 2:04)

Daniel Stann climbed into the ring to interview Ulysses. Stann asked Ulysses his thoughts on what happened at A~4, specifically John Hurst's questionable method of defeating him. Ulysses's responded by grabbing the mic: "JOHN HURST! YOU. WILL. BE. CRRUUUUUUU--" Lex Fox interrupted Ulysses there, saying that he (Fox) needed to make a name for himself, and there was no better way to do that than by being the first man to beat Ulysses decisively: by pinfall or submission. Ulysses warned Fox that he would be CRUSHED!

The LION Hunt: LIONS F.C. (John Hurst and Josh Cameron) vs. Dash Springfield & D.R. Kongo
Once Cameron chose himself to start for the LIONS, Kongo could not be dissuaded from starting. Hurst wore the King of Savage title on his shoulder, but the referee wouldn't start the match until he handed it off.

Cameron and Kongo rushed to the center of the ring and began trading frantic blows, beating the tar out of one another. Once Kongo started to lay in the kicks, Cameron found himself outmatched and backed into a corner, forced to cover up. Kongo tried to peel Cameron out of the corner, but Cameron kneed Kongo in the gut and whipped his head to the mat! Cameron dragged Kongo into his corner and tagged Hurst in. Hurst and Cameron cut the ring in half, isolating Kongo in LION territory and taking him apart. After a series of tags, Hurst and Cameron feint-whipped Kongo back into the buckles, then Hurst caved Kongo's chest in with a kick to the ribs. BRAINBUSTER! 2.5 -- ropes! Hurst dragged Kongo away from the ropes and stepped on his chest as he went to tag Cameron in. Cameron twisted Kongo in a series of holds, shifting whenever Kongo seemed to be freeing himself and doing his utmost to keep Kongo from getting any momentum.

Cameron tagged Hurst in and held Kongo up so Hurst could smash him with a series of punches. Hurst swung around, SPINNING BACKFIST -- KONGO DUCKED AND CAMERON GOT BRAINED! Kongo scrambled across the ring, but Hurst punted Kongo in the ribs to take the wind out of his sails. Hurst got a back mount and began to drill Kongo's head with punches, crumpling his afro. Hurst pulled Kongo up to his feet, GERMAN SUPLEX - Kongo flipped through! SUPERKICK -- ON THE BUTTON! Hot tag out to Springfield! SPRINGBOARD CORKSCREW CROSSBODY TOOK CAMERON OFF HIS FEET! DDT DRILLED HURST! 2.6 -- Cameron saved! Kongo tried to eject Cameron, but Cameron turned the tables and sent Kongo to the floor. Cameron followed Kongo out to continue the fight. Springfield whipped Hurst into the corner, then followed him in with a dropkick to the face! Hurst slumped to a seat. Springfield hit the ropes and came back to dropkick Hurst again, but Hurst rolled out of the way! Hurst slammed Springfield's head repeatedly against the middle buckle, then covered him and hooked the leg: 2.5! Hurst stalked Springfield, swung a backroundhouse kick, but it was caught and turned into a half crab! In the ring, Springfield kept control with his technical skills, making sure Hurst could not utilize his strikes.

(On the outside, Kongo played a game of hit and run, leading Cameron on until he could score a kick, then continuing to run so he could catch his breath. Finally Cameron picked up the pace, grabbing Kongo and making to ram him into the barricade, but Kongo dropped and Cameron ran ribs-first into the steel. STRONG KICK!)

Hurst began to strike back, and though Springfield stood his ground at first, he was outmatched by Hurst's power. Kongo got to his corner and Springfield managed to make the tag. Kongo and Springfield worked over Hurst, beating the fight out of him and then executing a tandem back suplex. Kongo and Springfield began to tag efficiently, the two-on-one attack neutralizing Hurst's superior striking ability for the moment. Hurst began to fight his way ought, laying heavy hands into both, but Springfield rammed his shoulder into Hurst and pushed him back into the corner, holding him there so that Kongo could rush in and BLAST HURST WITH A STRONG KICK! No lights in the house! 2.7! Kongo tagged out to Springfield and led Hurst across the ring, smashing Hurst's face into the buckle and holding him there. Springfield charged across the ring, CAMERON CAUGHT HIM OUT OF NOWHERE AND DRILLED HIM WITH CHARYBDIS (spinning sitout spinebuster)! Kongo tossed Cameron out of the ring! He went to keep Hrst down, SUPERKICK TOOK KONGO'S HEAD OFF!

(Cameron argued with the referee as Kongo rolled out of the ring. Rodrigo De La Zed climbed the rail and choked Kongo with a chain! After he'd done his damage, he started up the back, where he was met by Alexander Shaw! They traded blows, their brawl taking them backstage.)

Hurst and Cameron began to dissect Springfield, taking advantage of the fact that he was alone. Springfield put up a valiant effort, but every time he got a little bit of momentum, he would be met by superior forces and taken down again. A worn-out Kongo managed to get back to the apron and even held his arm over the rope to tag, even though it was clear he was no better off than Springfield. Hurst SPIKED SPRINGFIELD WITH A FISHERMAN'S BUSTER! 2.99! Hurst smirked, taking his time in pulling Springfield back to his feet. He whipped Springfield into the LFC corner, Springfield reversed! Hurst came staggering out of the corner and caught a dropkick! Springfield leapt into his corner and tagged out to Kongo! Kongo summoned up all the will he had and entered the ring, scooped up on Hurst's shoulders, DRILLED WITH A DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! 1 -- Hurst stopped covering! Hurst tagged out to Cameron. "Do it!" Cameron nodded as he got into the ring and hooked Kongo in a modified front facelock. GATOR ROLL CHOKE! Hurst charged across the ring and booted Springfield off the apron! Kongo tapped!
Winner: LIONS F.C. (John Hurst and Josh Cameron+) by submission (gator roll choke on Kongo, 18:37)

The brawl between Shaw and DLZ continued back out, DLZ stumbling back. Shaw rammed DLZ's head into the barricade and marched down to the ring, demanding that Rageous get out here! Rageous bolted down to the ring!

A Small Measure of Revenge: Alexander Shaw vs. Nathan Rageous
The match started with both men swinging for the fences, neither backing down an inch. Finally, Rageous bullrushed Shaw through the ropes, sending both men to the floor, where they continued to fight. Shaw whipped Rageous into the barricade then followed him in with a brutal front elbow shot. Snap suplex on the outside! Shaw sent Rageous back inside at eight and quickly mounted, throwing wild blows until Rageous shoved him off. Both men got to their feet, CHARGING LARIAT FLIPPED SHAW! Rageous shook the cobwebs out before capitalizing, pushing Shaw into the corner and smashing his ribs with shoulder thrusts. He hammer-whipped Shaw into the other corner hard enough to take Shaw off his feet.

Rageous controlled the match from there, giving Shaw little reprieve. Shaw tried to escape Rageous but each time he seemed to be caught by Rageous's grappling skill which took the fight to the mat. Shaw began to elbow his way free, then dashed into the ropes, RAGEOUS HURLED A LARIAT -- SHAW DUCKED! Rageous turned and ate a jumping knee strike! Rageous stumbled into the ropes, clinging to them while Shaw threw wild rights, lefts, and elbows. Rageous shoved Shaw away and stepped forward, SHAW SPIKED RAGEOUS WITH AN EXPLODER! 2.5! "FALCON ARROW!" Shaw hooked Rageous up, but Rageous blocked! Shaw threw knees into Rageous's chest. Rageous caught one, then shifted Shaw up onto his shoulders, charged back and smashed Shaw's back into the buckles! Rageous trotted to the center of the ring, then turned and SPEARED THE HELL OUT OF SHAW! Done! 2.8!

Rageous turned up the heat with heavy slams, always seeking the pin but never getting the fall. He locked in a grounded bearhug, using both his strength and his bodyweight to force the air out of Shaw's body. Shaw refused to give in, grasping for the ropes but too far to get them. Rageous pulled Shaw to his feet and kneed him in the gut. POWERBOMB -- Shaw pulled Rageous's legs out, flipped him over into a Boston crab! He only held it for a few seconds before Rageous powered out. Both men were quick to their feet, but Rageous knocked Shaw to the mat with a running shoulder block, then hit the ropes again and came back with a splash! 2.8! Rageous brought Shaw to his feet again and clubbed him over the back several times. He hooked Shaw up and hiked him vertically, holding him up for several seconds, but Shaw managed to slam his knee down into Rageous's head!

Shaw landed on his feet and took the fight to Rageous with a series of elbow shots, taking a short breath between each one. Rageous capitalized on one of the pauses with a knee lift to the gut. He sent Shaw into the ropes and set to catch him on the rebound, but SHAW BLASTED HIM WITH A JUMPING ELBOW SHOT! Rageous shook the cobwebs out, rising to a knee, SHINING APPRENTICE! Back suplex, bridged! 2.7! Shaw caught Rageous with a front facelock, but Rageous threw shots into Shaw's midsection that broke the hold. LARIAT -- WHIFFED! Shaw caught Rageous in a sleeperhold! Rageous threw elbows back and they scored, but Shaw persisted despite the pain, and soon the fight began to leave Rageous's limbs. Shaw wrenched the hold in until he was sure he had the advantage, then BRAINED HIM WITH A ROARING ELBOW! Is that the fat lady? 3!
Winner: Alexander Shaw by pinfall (backbrain roaring elbow, 17:36)

Shaw grabbed a microphone and began to run down Hurst, calling his win at A~4 empty. He said that he was going to get his title shot no matter what it took. The rest of LIONS Fight Club headed down to the ring, led by Hurst with the King of Savage belt over his shoulder. They approached the ring, but out from the crowd came Dash Springfield, Barron Ulysses, and D.R. Kongo! Shaw said that if it took a war to put this to rights, there would be a war. LFC would not cheat to dominate ALPHA!
