That's what I like about this ALPHA. I get older, it stays all the rage.

  • In two weeks, ALPHA presents its A+ special to the world! The match that everybody's talking about is the main event, the title match, LIONS Fight Club captain John Hurst defending his King of Savage title against Alexander Shaw! The Slam Screed has posted an editorial on this blockbuster contest, and we're glad to repost it here. LINK: The Storm Ahead
  • At last week's ALPHA 21, the Royal Lancers brawled in the crowd with their nemeses the Surf Ninjas, racking up $1000 in fines, the entirety of which was handed to the Ninjas! As a result of both actions, the Surf Ninjas have challenged the Royal Lancers to a match at A+. Red Mountain Casino spokeswoman Chandra Taylor, who has hired the Lancers to be her "problem solvers," assured ALPHA officials that she and the Lancers will have a response to this challenge at ALPHA 22 this weekend!
  • The theme song for A+ will be Kinghorse's "As I Stand" off their self-titled 1990 album! When asked about the 20 year old choice of tunes, ALPHA co-governor Daniel Stann said "fuck off!" and resumed air guitaring.
  • It's no secret that Josh Cameron and D.R. Kongo don't like each other one bit. At ALPHA 21, Cameron revealed that a match was in the books for A+, pitting Cameron and Kongo against each other in a wager match. The winner would be considered a full member of LIONS Fight Club, the dream of both men, despite the issues that Kongo has had with LFC. And the loser? They would have to get out of town! As this challenge came on the heels of an attack by the supposedly-absent John Hurst, Alexander Shaw promised that he would be on hand this Saturday to ensure that nothing more of the kind could happen.
  • Perhaps as a measure of retribution for Josh Cameron's villainous attack on D.R. Kongo, Daniel Stann has booked Cameron in a possibly unwinnable match, as he will face off against the man mountain "Killdozer" Kevin Alloy! LFC director Anton Assault responded in kind, however, lobbying for a match between Nathan Rageous and D.R. Kongo, undoubtedly to soften Kongo up for Cameron at A+! Will one of these rivals have their momentum broken going into A+?
  • Last week, Jake Landell fell victim to the murderous new finishing move of Barron Ulysses, the Avalanche Crush. Now, coming up this Saturday, he will face off against Lex Fox, who is obsessed with becoming the first person to decisively beat Ulysses. The Avalanche Crush was an obvious message being sent to Fox. Will Fox have a similar message to Ulysses? And who's going to pay Landell's hospital bills?
  • After an impressive debut at ALPHA 19, Canada's Finest has had a run of bad luck. This week, back in tag team competition, they seek to rectify those mistakes. However, they're facing the team of Doug Chase and Barron Ulysses, and while they're untested as a unit, they're not going to be a pushover.
  • Dash Springfield abandoning Alexander Shaw's militia in their biggest contest to date left a sour taste in many mouths, including that of Maurice Thompson, who took it upon himself to challenge Springfield to a match at A+. However, this week, they'll stand across the ring from each other in tag competition, when Thompson teams up with the Surf Ninjas's Byron Maloka, and Springfield tags with Jay Mathers!
  • The price point for ALPHA shows is raising juuuust a bit! The upcoming A+ special pay-per-view will be available for $12.99, and after A+, the weekly PPVs will be priced at $9.99! The increased price is to cover the improved production values in our pay-per-view events, and for every buck you'll get three times the bang!
  • It's two weeks until A+! But that doesn't mean that this week's ALPHA 22: Making the Grade is anything to sneeze about. We've still got five excellent matches for you, five top notch contests featuring the best wrestling talent the world over! Just $7.99 to order!
