============================== BASTARD STAMPEDE MONDAY FIGHTS ============================== July 12th, 2010 Stampede Arena in El Paso, TX ============================== Fans in the arena were treated to a video package that reviewed what everybody was talking about from the last edition of Monday Fights, the World Cup of Villainy. The crowd remained solemn as the show began, that is until "Force Ten" by Rush started to play. The fans erupted as Taylor MacKenzie, MBC superstar and former Grandmaster Typo Champion, appeared through the entrance way and came to the ring. She took the house mic and thanked everyone for their warm welcome. She stated that she had a few things to get off her chest. But, she was then cut off by the entrance of two time former Bastard Stampede Women's Champion "Righteous" Robin Rhoades. Rhoades complained that the opening of the show was no place for a wash-up like MacKenzie. The tension between the women grew quickly, almost coming to blows. But things took a dramatic turn when Robin called for her bodyguard, Keno Tanaka. The Asian wrestler had a size advantage on MacKenzie but she remained unimpressed. Looking up to Tanaka she simply said: "Oh... you think I came alone?" Enter Damien "The Omen" Williams. The estranged son of Slush ran to the ring and cleared both Tanaka and Rhoades from the ring. But before departing all together, Rhoades issued a challenge for later in the night: her and Tanaka versus MacKenzie and Williams. The two MBC wrestlers were happy to accept. Despite the high note to start the show, the World Cup of Villainy continued as The Goblin Queen defended the BS Women's Championship against Tracy Saxon. Saxon was considerably less green after spending so much time training in Japan but the Queen's ruthlessness won out. She was so ruthless and aggressive that the referee reversed the decision of the match, disqualifying the Queen for her brutality. Still, the message was sent. In other action, the Neon Knights returned to Stampede only to be utterly crushed by the Bash Brothers. Afterwards, the Bash Brothers introduced their sister, Angela Harrison as their new manager. Darklin and Krow then stated that they would no longer be going by the Bash Brothers. Henceforth, they would be called the Sons of Skullhead. Tyler Tucker got a solid win over Kohl Rycoff to defend the West Texas Championship and put another notch in his column for the World Cup of Villainy. Backstage, Sid Johnson went looking for Frontier Union Champion The Burning Man, seeking revenge for his tag team partner being injured on the previous show. He did not find The Burning Man but he did run into Scorched Earth members Jefferson "Sky Slasher" McKeid and The Shifter. They came to blows but security separated them before things got too out of hand. Later in the show, Sid Johnson and The Shifter stepped into the ring as a result of the back stage confrontation. Black Madison tried to trip up Johnson during the match but Johnson's former manager Gloria Butler appeared to even the score. Without Scorched Earth interference, Slash took the win with his Clean Cut. In the main event, Taylor MacKenzie and Damien "The Omen" Williams teamed up against the unusual team of "Righteous" Robin Rhoades and her bodyguard Keno Tanaka. No one really knew that Tanaka was in the bodyguard business, nor did anyone know why Rhoades needed a bodyguard. But the beginning of the match mostly contained Rhoades screaming orders to Tanaka as he wrestled. The action was quick and eventually the crowd favored MacKenzie got her hands on Rhoades. Rhoades escaped when she could, leaving most of the heavy lifting to Tanaka. After Williams hit the 666 on Tanaka and scored the pinfall for his team, Rhoades verbally berated Tanaka all the way to the locker room, firing him as her bodyguard. He almost seemed thankful. RESULTS ------- The Bash Brothers d. The Neon Knights by pinfall via Doomsday Device BASTARD STAMPEDE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH --Tracy Saxon d. Everything I learned about soccer, I learned from Dro. You are to refer to Katie as "The Duchess of Der Basterdmusen" as of June 2014. She'll get angry if you don't. You've been warned. | |
