The sun never sets on ALPHA.
- This week we present the first ever ALPHACast! The ALPHACast is a collection of clips from the past week's ALPHA show, posted to the web for your consumption! This week, we have Josh Cameron's graduation, as well as Kevin Alloy's slam challenge and the surprise open challenge from Dash Springfield! VIDEO LINK: ALPHACast 10.05.10
- Is ALPHA big enough for two championships? At last week's ALPHA 23: Graduation, Dash Springfield revealed that he is planning on defending his Just Wrestling Championship against all comers, defeating Andrew Crow in his first "defense" here in ALPHA! This comes on the heels of John Hurst's announcement that he will NOT be defending his King of Savage title ever again. ALPHA officials have stated that they do not recognize the Just Wrestling Championship as an ALPHA title. Nevertheless, Buddy Saxon has decided to step up to the plate, and this week he'll take on the Local Legend in singles competition! VIDEO LINK: Local Legend, People's Champ
- The road to ADD continues! This week, we've got two matches involving established teams taking on newcomers. First, the Surf Ninjas will be squaring off with the makeshift tandem of Javier Sikkan and Anh Karley Kompost, who is coming off a win in her ALPHA debut. That brutal cricket bat ladder match at A+ ended in a no contest, so the issue between the Ninjas and the Royal Lancers is FAR from settled, as the Lancers made note of in a promo last week. Can the Ninjas stay focused and get the win, or will Sikkan and Kompost get the advantage and head down the path to ADD?
- In the second ADD qualifying heat of the night for the final spot in the tournament, Canada's Finest will take on the Creel Boys! Eddie Traveller won the dark four-way threat at A+, but the Creels are also coming off of a win, and they've also got their devastating Deep Fried Homicide tag finishing maneuver! These two upcoming tag teams are sure to put on an exciting contest!
- Would you like to win $1,000? Well, all you've gotta do is bodyslam "Killdozer" Kevin Alloy! This contest of Alloy's has been running for several weeks. Last week, Alton West gave it a try but failed. This week, it continues! Who will step up? VIDEO LINK: Alloy's Slam Challenge Continues
- Barron Ulysses may still be big, but he's not quite as bad as he once was. His loss to the departed Lex Fox at A+ seems to have affected him deeply, resulting in him taking the fall against LIONS F.C. in an ADD qualifier. This week, he'll be taking on Andrew Crow, but there's no word on whether or not he'll be his old CRRUUUUUSSHHing self. Not to mention that Ulysses seems to have a stalker of some sort!
- We at ALPHA are proud to announce a new signing! The Samoan Isles are rich with professional wrestling heritage, and one of their riches will now grace the Prime Stage. Prince Matautia will make his debut at ALPHA 24, taking on Jake Landell! We've heard a lot about Matautia's skill, now we hope to see what he can bring in the wrestling ring.
- What can we say about Josh Cameron's LIONS Fight Club graduation ceremony? It was offensive to the fans. It was an occasion for the LIONS to once again crow over how much better they were than the rest of ALPHA. It was, simply put, an LFC occasion. And with about two dozen LFC trainees at ringside, there was absolutely no way for the Militia or anyone else to stop things. It was disgusting. And it proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that John Hurst and his LIONS are in control. And if things continue like this, John Hurst's reign truly WILL be eternal! VIDEO LINK: Triumph of the LIONS
- This weekend, coming at you LIVE from the Prime Stage, it's the new and improved ALPHA 24: Double or Nothing! Two more teams will qualify for ADD! Dash Springfield puts the Just Wrestling Championship on the line! And there's always, ALWAYS more! How can you get yourself some of this ALPHA action? Just call 1 800 MOD ERNV or visit www.modernvision.com to order! Only $9.99 for some of the best wrestling on the planet!
