============================== BASTARD STAMPEDE MONDAY FIGHTS ============================== September 6th, 2010 Stampede Arena in El Paso, TX ============================== The show began, as it has many times, with the presence of Commissioner STEPHANIE HARPER standing in the ring. After a loud ovation for the legend, Harper stated that Bastard Stampede was well on its way to establishing its own set of traditions. But she was happy to announce that one of the most bastardly of all traditions would be coming to Stampede. Starting the next episode of Monday Fights, the annual 2X4 Tournament would be hosted by Bastard Stampede. On top of that, some former winners of the tournament would be coming to Stampede to compete. Harper left the ring to make way for the first match of the evening. True to her word, 2007 2X4 Tournament winner JONAS "DUTCH" ELM made his return to the Stampede. Word came down he was still a member of the UWF/MBC roster but he had decided to come back to work off some anger. Anger towards what was unknown. However TRAPPER WARD paid the price for being in Dutch's path. After a short match and monster Tree Cuter, Elm claimed the first victory of the night. Backstage SID "SLASH" JOHNSON was seen talking to GLORIA BUTLER. While Slash wasn't exactly harassing her, Gloria wasn't entirely pleased with Slash's presence. She was still upset with his attitude from when she managed him and his partner Burn. Slash became more adamant about needing her at his side and grabbed her arm when she tried to walk away. At this point, JACOB ENOS appeared and assumed the worst. Enos and Johnson began to brawl, only being separated by security. Commissioner Harper arrived and signed the two in a match for later in the evening. Annoyed with both Johnson and Enos, Butler hit the ring for her own match. In facing BETTE NOIR, she took on an extremely aggressive opponent who constantly tried to wear her down. However, neither Butler nor Noir could get a solid decision as Bastard Stampede Women's Champion THE GOBLIN QUEEN rampaged down to the ring and attacked them both. The Queen's attacks were primarily directed towards Butler for her constant intervention, however, Noir was attacked for being there and being "pretty." Security soon arrived but the damage was done. This would not be the last time the Goblin Queen would strike. Once again, the audience was taken to the backstage area. This time things were much more civil as Damien "The Omen" Williams introduced his girlfriend Taylor MacKenzie to some childhood friends, the Sons of Skullhead and their sister-slash-manager Angela Harrison. Before this grouping could catch up on old times, "Righteous" Robin Rhoades and her bodyguard Olaf Fub showed up to antagonize Taylor and Omen. Rhoades and her man wisely left before things got ugly but both MacKenzie and Williams were left fuming. Before cutting back to in ring action, Darklin and Krow Skullhead told their friends that they would have their backs whenever needed. Jacob Enos and Sid Johnson were next on the card. From the very start the match was a hellacious brawl. It became magnified when Bastard Stampede Frontier Union Champion The Burning Man appeared at the entrance way to watch his would be opponent, Johnson and longtime rival, Enos. Both men seemed somewhat distracted by The Burning Man's presence but things inevitably came down to Johnson hitting the Clean Cut. The Burning Man nodded to his soon to be in ring opponent and walked away. Johnson followed, leaving only Enos in the ring with the bitter taste of defeat in his mouth. The main event for the evening held much interest for those in attendance. With the World Cup of Villainy in full swing, the time had finally come for Cup entrants to face each other in combat. For the evening's entertainment the reigning Bastard Stampede Tag Team Champions, Wolf Jager and Justin Davidson faced former champions Jefferson "Sky Slasher" McKeid and The Shifter. The crowd boo'd every move and gesture that either team made, and the crowd even went as far to chant The Shifter's name... though... without the "F". The match waged on with both sides using the most questionable of tactics. The referee just about threw his hands in the air and let it become no holds barred. But in the closing moments, it was the referee’s indifference that lead to McKeid losing his temper with the official. Jager wisely capitalized and rolled McKeid up for the pin. Whether the count was fast or not was questionable... RESULTS ------- Jonas Elm d. Trapper Ward by pinfall via Tree Cutter Gloria Butler and Bette Noir went to a no decision Keno Tanaka d. Dark Sabre by pinfall via Tanaka Driver Sid Johnson d. Jacob Enos by pinfall via Clean Cut BASTARD STAMPEDE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Wolf Jager and Justin Davidson © d. Jefferson McKeid and The Shifter by pinfall via rollup |

Everything I learned about soccer, I learned from Dro. You are to refer to Katie as "The Duchess of Der Basterdmusen" as of June 2014. She'll get angry if you don't. You've been warned. | |
