[UWF/MBC] HEAVEN AND HELL TOUR HOUSE SHOW
at: Amway Center in Orlando, Florida
September 12, 2010

Fan Report by Josh Charles Logan

Man, I've been waiting for the UWF/MBC to come back to town for what feels like forever! I should mention that before the show Dwight Howard came out and did a comedy bit with the Problem Solvers, leading to Randall Osbourne and Tommy Elliott running out for the save. They announced that Dwight would be an honorary member of the IS for the night.

The first match was one of those women's tournament matches, with Luke Kinsey's main squeeze BRIANNA LANDIS taking on DALBELLO RAGE. Prior to the match Rage showed up on the video screen near the ceiling.

[Fade in:

V/O: All I've ever wanted to do is wrestle. All I've ever wanted to be is a wrestler. All I've ever needed is an opponent and a ring.

The darkness dissolves and the viewer's are treated to the image of Dalbello Rage. The veteran grappler rolls her taped wrists from side-to-side. Her gold-coloured eyes gleam against her wheat-coloured skin.]

DR: But the UWF and the MBC they don't believe in that. They like to leave me on the shelf. No meaningful matches. No high profile opponents. It's just sit there and wait for them to throw me a bone or ask for a release. Well, they threw me a bone in the Empress Cup. Win or lose, I get to compete here again.

[She fiddles with her hair, running her hands through it.]

DR: Brianna Landis, I don't care if you believe you're every man's fantasy. It doesn't mean anything to me. I'm not a man. But you, you should be worried about my name. I am Ms. Perfect for real. The perfect wrestler, the perfect athlete. The perfect woman to beat you down and tear your shoulder out it's socket.

[Her expression is hard and sour.]

DR: I deserve to be the Empress. I deserve the recognition in the UWF. I deserve to be treated with the respect a wrestler my calibre deserves. And I'm going to take it ... one shoulder at a time.

[Fade out]

After that whinefest, Brianna got some cheers when she came out to battle Rage. And Dalbello did her best to bully her opponent, not giving her much of an opening to fight back. Landis had her back and neck wrenched at almost every turn, grounding her usual aerial style and found herself caught in submission holds. NIKKI THE CAT showed up during the match and attempted to cause a distraction so that Brianna would lose, but inadvertently crossed Dalbello with a misdirected slap across the face. Nikki ran for the hills, Dalbello turned around and attempted to ram Brianna shoulder-first to the post but Brianna countered with the Spiraling Downward for a huge pinfall!

The second tournament match was between two MBC women, AMAZING GRACE and GEORGIA CHURCH. And poor Georgia, even though she tried hard, fell to 0-3 in the standings after a routine win by Grace. She got a bit of a tongue lashing after the match by Queen Holly who was out at ringside.

Next up, CLAYTON ROSS took on "HENTAI" RYU OSAWA, but Ryu's mind was clearly on his cock elsewhere. He didn't have the same spring in his step that he normally does, even if the crowd cheered everything he did. And in the end it was Ross who came away with the win, stunning the audience who expected a comeback victory for half of the tag champs.

And next up was the only title match on the show, HOLLY HOTBODY defending the MBC Women's Championship against ROSE MALONE in a great little match. Holly spent most of the contest stalling against the younger (and much prettier in this reporter's eyes) Rose. Ultimately Hotbody retained the
title after Georgia Church reappeared and redeemed herself in her queen's eyes by blindsiding Rose and DDTing her into the floor to set up Holly's
win. After the match Amazing Grace came back out to make the save for the defenseless Rose.

Following that was a short intermission, and then THE PROBLEM SOLVERS came out, Mr. Haliburton taking the microphone and running down the Orlando Magic and calling them chokers in the playoffs this past season. Naturally, this is where the INSANITY SOCIETY came out, including their one night only member Dwight Howard, and a wild brawl broke out. In the middle of it all Haliburton took a chairshot from Superman, eliminating him from the equation. Oz and Tommy Elliott scored the victory on the Solvers, then celebrated with their seven foot mascot.

And the main event saw the past collide with the future as YOUTH GONE WILD took on "NIGHTHAWK" MICHAEL BONN in one hell of a match. This one went a solid half hour back and forth, and I for one didn't think YGW had a match like this left in him. After the handshake pre-match, they proceeded to tear it down with aerials galore and lots of reversals and near pinfalls. Ginny and Ryu were at ringside for the whole match, but about halfway through the rest of the locker room emptied and everyone else quietly came out to watch from the wings too. In the end it came down to a simple mistake by Wild, as Bonn evaded the Wildflyer and after a uranage hit YGW with a Hawkwind for the three count.

Afterwards Wild and Bonn shook hands again, and the entire building gave the two a standing ovation including all the wrestlers in the aisle. Call me crazy, but half of me wonders if this might've been Wild's last match with the way everyone was shaking his hand and slapping him on the back. I didn't hear anything officially, mind you, but it makes you think. Either way, a pretty good show with a killer main event.
Everything I learned about soccer, I learned from Dro.

You are to refer to Katie as "The Duchess of Der Basterdmusen" as of June 2014. She'll get angry if you don't. You've been warned.
