BASTARD STAMPEDE SHOCKFEST III
==============================
December 21st, 2010
Stampede Arena in El Paso, TX
==============================

Even though news of Bastard Stampede suspending operations at the end of 2010 had long been rumored, that didn't keep the fans from coming out to the show. Neither did those rumors stop Commissioner Stephanie Harper from upgrading the presentation of the arena for what possibly was the league's last show. Pyrotechnics and laser lights welcomed the show attendees and the viewers at home. And if it was the last show, then the wrestlers looked to make it memorable.

2X4 TOURNAMENT THIRD ROUND MATCH
DEMOLITION, LARRY DUFFY, KENO TANAKA, MARK EVERETT
versus RANSAC, JAMES MASTERSON, JOEY MALONE, JACOB ENOS
==================================================

To get this far into the 2X4 Tournament, a team not only has to have skill, but also luck. Without luck, you may not have a team that can gel long enough to survive. And without luck, a team may not be able to overcome opposition with a greater chemistry. While the two final teams in the 2010 edition of the tournament had skill to spare, it was luck that got them where they were. The team of Demolition, Mark Everett, Larry Duffy and Keno Tanaka had a hard time getting along and though they didn't cannibalize themselves in the first two rounds, they became dangerously close. On the opposite side, the team of Jacob Enos, Joey Malone, James Masterson and Ransac had to overcome the rage and near vigilantism of Masterson and the adrenaline fueled insanity of Malone.

Knowing that one cannot change a force of nature, Jacob Enos allowed James Masterson to go first for his team. Demolition was his first opponent and despite a strong showing, the former Frontier Union Champion's strategy for his team was to make frequent tags in hopes of preventing Masterson from disabling team members too early. The strategy worked well but Masterson's power was too much for Larry Duffy. Proving to be the weak link in the chain, Duffy fell victim to the Lone Star Royal and was the first to be eliminated. Tanaka came close to being eliminated second but Demolition made the save. Demolition’s assault was enough to force Masterson to make a tag. Demolition and Joey Malone tangled for a while before beginning a chain of various combinations of wrestlers. Old rivals Ransac and Keno Tanaka had a long exchange of reversals and martial arts style combat. But Tanaka evened the matchup by eliminating Ransac with a Yakuza Kick. Masterson was right back into the match and took quickly to overpowering Tanaka. Within a minute, Masterson hit yet another Lone Star Royal and added Keno to his list of eliminations.

Demolition and Everett nodded to one another and though they had a shaky past, they managed to work well enough to effectively attack Masterson. Masterson's refusal to tag finally worked against him and with double team after double team, Masterson found himself eliminated via a Star Eyed Crush. The effort to eliminate Masterson took its toll and a fresh Joey Malone proved to be too much to handle for Mark Everett. The usually quick Everett was a half step behind Malone, and was unable to avoid being hit with the Stone Dead Forever. The burden now left to Demolition, the former Champion took the battle to Malone. His only hope was to keep Malone from tagging out to the fresher Jacob Enos. Joey's adrenaline was kicked so far into high gear that Malone forgot he was on a team and didn't even motion for a tag. Much like Masterson, not tagging proved to be fatal and Demolition eliminated Joey with a Demolisher DDT. Jacob Enos stepped into the ring and allowed Demolition a moment to gain his strength. While most would question that kind of mercy, it was one of the reasons that Enos was one of the most respected men in the Bastard Stampede locker room. After a lengthy exchange of signature moves, Enos' moment of mercy proved inconsequential as he executed the DoubleJack on Demolition. A three count later, Enos found himself the lone survivor of the winning team.

WINNERS: Jacob Enos, Ransac, James Masterson, and Joey Malone
==================================================

AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
In a moment of great sportsmanship, Jacob Enos and Demolition shook hands. Down the aisle came James Masterson and though some would expect him to congratulate his teammate, most knew better. Masterson attacked both men and executed the Lone Star Royal on Jacob Enos twice. Now that they were past the third round, all bets were off. Now, the concept of team meant nothing and Masterson was simply preparing for the next rounds to come.

[MBC] PSYCHO DRIVER TAG TEAM TITLE CHAMPIONSHIP
TARYN WELLER and FIONA CASSIDY ©
versus THE NEW THROBBING MATTRESS KITTENS
==================================================

The Pro-MBC crowd gave a lusty wave of boo's to the tandem of Taryn Weller and Fiona Cassidy. To the crowd, these two where outsiders, "UWF scum" unworthy to hold any title within the MBC family. But Fiona and Taryn remained cold to the crowd reaction. On the other side, Luna and Aurora Cordova received cheers for something other than the outfits they wore. No one was more shocked by this than the Twins. It brought a smile to their faces and though they did indeed dress like sexy, sexy bastards, the Cordovas had something working for them other than sex appeal. They had crowd support. Luna and Aurora wrestled like never before, feeding off the crowd that was willing them on to victory. Unfortunately, Weller and Cassidy relished in the harsh environment, happy to be representing the UWF. The match was fast paced throughout and in the closing moments it seemed that Weller would close things out to successfully defend the titles. But the fatigued Luna managed to swap out illegally with the fresh Aurora without the referee noticing. For once the crowd didn't care when momentum swung in the favor of the New TMK. In a nod to one of their predecessors, Aurora hit Weller with the Power Trip Superfly and covered for the one, two, three.

BASTARD STAMPEDE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
THE GOBLIN QUEEN © versus GLORIA BUTLER
==================================================

The second title match of the evening didn't even allow for proper ring introductions. While the challenger Gloria Butler came down the aisle, The Goblin Queen charged and attacked from behind. After a brawl outside the ring, The Queen finally shoved Butler into the ring so the match could begin. The Queen wasn't necessarily here to defend the title. Gloria Butler pissed her off for not only being pretty but also for denying her the privilege of unprettying the other women of Bastard Stampede. If nothing else, The Queen was here for vengeance. Still, Gloria Butler had been attacked by the Queen for months. Her anger had built and built until finally she simply could not hold back. The two most physically powerful women in Stampede went toe to toe in what would likely become the most physical match in the history of Bastard stampede Women's wrestling. Things remained even until The Queen's manager Gordon J. Dutt began to make a pest of himself. While not doing anything outright illegal, the cheap feels and pinches were enough of a distraction for the Queen to press her advantage. Every time the challenger battled back, Dutt would work his perverted magic. It soon became too much and Butler's protégé Tracy Saxon ran down the aisle to clothesline Dutt right out of his shoes. The pervert equalized, Butler could mount another comeback. The extra "pretty" of Tracy Saxon simply made the Queen angrier and in that, Gloria found her opening. Using the Queen's rage against her, Gloria hit the Fire Blazer Suplex and managed to hold the champion's shoulders down for the full three count.

WINNER BY PINFALL AND NEW CHAMPION: Gloria Butler
==================================================

AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
The crowd celebrated as Saxon handed Gloria her newly won title. Butler and Saxon walked back up the aisle as both Dutt and the Queen cleared their respective heads. Realizing what had happened the Queen let out a terrible bellow of rage and threw the referee over the top rope before storming out of the arena.

BASTARD STAMPEDE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
WOLF JAGER and JUSTIN DAVIDSON © versus THE SONS OF SKULLHEAD
==================================================

Wearing T-shirts that read "Skullheads Do It With Power", Darklin and Krow Skullhead marched to the ring accompanied by their sister and manager Angela Harrison. The reigning tag champions Jager and Davidson soon joined them and after a few minutes of stare downs, the match started somewhat quietly, at least compared to previous matches. It began with circling up and slowly worked itself into a brawl. The Skullheads used their power as Jager and Davidson used their skill to put together an entertaining match. Jager and Davidson switched strategies late into the match, isolating Krow and wearing him down. The more damage he took the more desperate Darklin became to get tagged in. Just when the defending champions were confident that they had another successful defense under their belts, Krow surprised Jager with a spinebuster and managed to dodge Davidson fast enough to make the tag. Darklin came in and destroyed all that came before him. After tossing Jager outside the ring, a rejuvenated Krow and Darklin set Davidson up for their patented Double Skullbuster. Jager attempted to make the save but he was a second too late. New champions were crowned.

2X4 TOURNAMENT FOURTH ROUND MATCH
JAMES MASTERSON versus RANSAC
==================================================

Ransac was no fool. He knew that James Masterson was a rage fueled engine of destruction. So in order for him to overcome the angry monster, Ransac would have to attack Masterson at his weak points. Unfortunately for him, it proved to be rather difficult in finding those weak spots. Masterson engaged Ransac with every ounce of brutality that was expected and then some. Ransac attacked the knees and lower back, the usual spots to strike on a much larger opponent. But Masterson's ferocity was far too overpowering. Yet another Lone Star Royal moved Masterson into the 2X4 Tournament final.

WINNER BY PINFALL: James Masterson

==================================================
2X4 TOURNAMENT FOURTH ROUND MATCH
JOEY MALONE versus JACOB ENOS
==================================================

The second fourth round match of the 2X4 Tournament wasn't so lopsided. The styles were just as contrasting but the two men were driven by things other than rage. Joey Malone was a man driven by adrenaline and thrills. Jacob Enos was a man driven by his principles. There was much respect between the two, as demonstrated by a pre-match handshake. Malone took to the air as Enos kept his attacks to the ground. Malone was scattered while Enos was methodical. Every turn of the tide sent the crowd into a new level of excitement. Just when the crowd thought it would be over as Joey Malone used his Stone Dead Forever, they were slapped with the realization that by Enos moving out of the way, things were still open ended. Enos pulled Malone to his feet and in a flash, Enos executed the DoubleJack. After a wild match, Enos was one step closer to the Tournament championship.

WINNER BY PINFALL: Jacob Enos

TAYLOR MACKENZIE versus ROBIN RHOADES
==================================================

With all members of her protection detail banned from ringside, Robin Rhoades had no place left to run too. She was oddly quiet in her entrance to the ring. For the first time in her time with Bastard Stampede she had nothing to say. The crowd almost missed it. But they also realized that by her shutting up her focus may be solely on defeating Taylor MacKenzie. MacKenzie had no words, only an unrepentant need to get her hands around the neck of Robin Rhoades. MacKenzie came on aggressive and quickly backed Rhoades into the proverbial corner. Rhoades constantly found ways to escape and turn the tide but she had trouble keeping the barbarians from the gates as it were. Taylor kept coming, almost as if she was blinded by rage. And it was here that Rhoades saw her chance. As Taylor continued to come after her, Rhoades backed away, constantly drawing even more ire from her opponent. Rhoades then feigned a wounded knee, leaving her open for Taylor to hit the Cat's Cradle. But as Taylor went through the setup, Rhoades caught her off guard and reversed Taylor's setup into the Righteous Indignation. Upon getting a surprisingly clean three count, Rhoades vacated the ring letting her smile do all the talking she needed.

WINNER BY PINFALL: Robin Rhoades

WEST TEXAS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
TYLER TUCKER © versus DAMIEN WILLIAMS
==================================================

If you were a title holder, Shockfest III was turning out very badly for you. This fact didn't impact Tucker in the slightest as he carried the kind of confidence he always did. Damien "The Omen" Williams carried his usual sneer and repressed anger that came with being the son of Slush. The match was a mighty back and forth affair that found Damien Williams becoming increasingly paranoid of Tyler's manager Dave Tucker. Dave wasn't a factor early in the match but Williams did his homework. If Dave wasn't involved now, he wouldn't be eventually. Unfortunately it was that mentality of the match being two against one that proved to be too much of a distraction for Williams. Tucker capitalized on a moment's hesitation and managed to lock on his Figure Four Deathlock. Williams had no avenue of escape and had no choice but to tap.

WINNER BY SUBMISSION AND STILL CHAMPION: Tyler Tucker

BASTARD STAMPEDE FRONTIER UNION CHAMPIONSHIP
THE BURNING MAN © versus SID "SLASH" JOHNSON
==================================================

The trend broken of champions losing their titles, all bets were off. Many thought The Burning Man was unbeatable already but many also thought that if anyone could topple him, it would be Sid "Slash" Johnson. Johnson had been on a long crusade to avenge the injury of his tag team partner at the hands of The Burning Man. And though the defending Frontier Union Champion did much to only throw obstacles in the way of Johnson, Sid overcame. And now, in the Bastard Stampede ring, it would be settled. Sid has never been known as a strategist but in this match, he brought a strategy that caught the Burning Man off guard early. Sid focused on the mask, keeping The Burning Man's attention on keeping the mask on instead of defending the title.

Momentum swung wildly into Johnson's favor, prompting the rest of the members of Scorched Earth to come down and attempt to make the save. One at a time Jefferson McKeid, Black Madison and The Shifter took their shots at Johnson but each failed. With them dispatched, Sid's attention returned to The Burning Man. Again, Johnson tried to remove the mask. Johnson pressed his attacks, loosening the mask enough for it to slip half way off. The crowd became excited at the thought of seeing the true identity of the Frontier Union Champion. But it turned to horror as The Burning Man pulled the mask off himself and quickly put it on over Sid's eyes. Blinded by the mask, Johnson could not protect himself from the Meltdown. Though The Burning Man covered Johnson for the pinfall, he managed to keep his face obscured from the camera.

WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL CHAMPION: The Burning Man
==================================================

AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
Jefferson McKeid, The Shifter and Black Madison entered the ring to help keep The Burning Mans' face hidden from both the fans and the cameras. But once the referee handed him his championship belt, The Burning Man stepped out from behind his followers in Scorched Earth. Though a large burn scar marked the right side of his face, Bastard Stampede fans recognized him as former Bastard Stampede Tag Team Champion and former partner to Jacob Enos, Kirk Houston. Houston smirked and led his followers to the back.

2X4 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
JACOB ENOS versus JAMES MASTERSON
==================================================

As if he didn't have enough to worry about, Jacob now had to contend with his greatest rival turning out to be his former tag partner and friend. If it affected him, Jacob hid it well. He came to the ring and awaited the monstrosity of nature they called King Texas. Lead by his manager Elias Cooley, James Masterson's boots pounded the pavement as he approached. His eyes were fixated on the smaller Enos and the objective could clearly be read: destruction. Once Masterson stepped over the ropes, the referee called for the bell and let what be, be. Masterson charged Enos instantly and wisely, Jacob ducked out of the way. Enos goaded Masterson into wasting his energy early, all in hopes of further tiring the beast out. But Masterson's stamina proved to be remarkable. Once King Texas got a paw on Enos, the punishment began. Enos took a beating like he had never experienced before but to his credit, nothing Masterson did could keep Enos pinned for a full count of three.

Masterson's already enraged demeanor increased tenfold and the monster continued to unleash every bit of power he had. But as the fans cheered him on, hoping he could mount a comeback, Jacob began to mount a better defense. Soon enough, Enos blocked each and every attack and was soon on the offensive. Masterson was at a loss as a man this much smaller and beaten shouldn't be able to do this. Enos was on fire but it only took a large boot to the face to put that fire out.

Punishment continued until Masterson hoisted Enos up for the Lone Star Royal. Masterson left him hanging for a second longer than normal, as if to demonstrate a lesson. But in that extra second, Enos escaped. Now far beyond angry, Masterson spun around to destroy what was left of his opponent. But Enos dropkicked Masterson in the knee. That knee buckled and allowed Enos to put King Texas into a rear headlock. A flash later and Enos hit the DoubleJack. He quickly covered and despite Masterson's attempt to force his way out, the count of three was laid. Enos had emerged victorious.

WINNER BY PINFALL: Jacob Enos
==================================================

BEFORE THE END OF THE SHOW
--------------------------
Sol Brennan, Mark Everett and Kara Tawn ran to the ring to congratulate their fellow Gambler in his victory. Having a hard time standing, Brennan helped Enos to his feet. Kara and Jacob then shared a kiss that prompted the crowd to cheer even louder for the hero getting the girl. He then motioned for the house microphone. The crowd quieted down so the Tournament Champion could speak.

Enos: Kirk... it doesn't matter if Bastard Stampede never comes back. One way or the other... I will find you. And this will be settled.

The crowd erupted into a riotous amount of cheers and with that, the final Bastard Stampede show faded to black.
