Was that from the Dead or Alive movie?

Indeed it was, Piccolo.

I haven't read through everything yet in this thread ... I have caught some winds of it ... and I want to state one thing. While, I don't make it a habit to police angles ... I do give the final sign off on what is booked.

So any outcome that is unpopular or any strat used in a match that is used may come from somebody else's plans ... I do give the final write off.

So in the end I would junction to say everything in this thread is my fault.

PICKYCAST!

I suck at recording and speak somewhat fast. There you go.

This was great! I'd like to see more of this in the future!

Just an observation, since some people seem to either have loved Picky's pod cast, or HAAAAATED it:

If you think this was bad, you should go back and read some of the old WWO Source Magazines.

They were EXPONENTIALLY more harsh.

One card review contained: "And your winner of the "Let's Give Detson A Disgustingly
Easy Bracket Without Any Kind of Backup Plan If He Throws A Hissy Fit
And Leaves The WWO Mid-Tournament" sweepstakes is Miguel".

Now...I enjoyed both Picky's podcast and Dro's reviews, but for very different reasons.

Dro reads everything, and immerses himself in the kayfabe. That's part of what's fun about his reviews. When I read them, I can sorta of get a feel for his enthusiasm for the hobby, and it reminds me why I still do this.

Picky though...his podcasts tend more towards the internet/smart mark style. His comments are more meta than Dro's, and (because he's Picky), he tends to be a bit more harsh in his commentary (but again, SO much nicer than the Source).

Both have their place, and both are worthwhile.

Now quitchabitchin'.

And just for the record I never threw a hissy fit and left... I just left.

Two... I liked Pick's podcast and Dro's reviews for different reasons like Don said.

The Source was awesome though and harsh at the same time. Actually I'm way harsher than Dave its just that he's more vocal about stuff.

It's true. Errol is even meaner.

He also uses me as his hatchetman. Errol left that time because of stuff outside of E-W. We missed him terribly!

I thought Pick did a good job for someone who's never done this professionally. There were a few small things but some might be the style he was going for.

I appreciate the honest and the candidness. Reallly this was all supposed to end at boling point but real life got in the way. It's something Trev, Brian, and I are working on.

That said this angle has done what it was supposed to do: put Merc back on the map. Trev has backed up dozens of angles and stories for me. I felt he was languishing in PVW. I also thought he lost a little of his killer instinct and people needed to be reminded what it means when Merc comes for you.

When this all started it was right after AE lost the UWF title and was laid up on the Vasquez attack. He was pissed over JFM's role in him being duped and losing the UWF title. When this angle started,

At the time this started, JFM was still with Martinez. So Trev and I had planned for having to go to war with AMart. Then the hiatus happened and Martinez left after the PPV when it returned.

Merc-AE contrary to belief, had _NEVER_ happened. This allowed to further put over one my best friends in this game and I loved doing it. The Mercenary has never been as much of a threat as he is now.

That said, I see the other side of it and your point is valid.

I'm fairly impressed that you actually have an opinion on everything, which means you've read everything. That's crazy.

Also, in regards to Matt Tiegs and mentioning the top heel right away, in Jericho's book he mentions that the worst thing a new babyface can do to try to garner heat is mention the main heels right away and shake their fist.

Fascinating. I thought I was one of the few who looked at e-wrestling that analytically.

Bring 'em on, and the vicious viciousness.

Picky: Yeah, yeah, I love you too. I know my angles tend to be very long. Maybe too long. I just love that epic feel. I'm workin' on it okay~!? :P
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!
