On the public sidewalk in front of the offices, a picket line has been established. About a dozen people march in a circle with various signs: "Fire the Aces and Percy Childes." "Insure safety." "Boycott AWA until those responsible are punished." The protesters keep a cadence, "We're sick, we're tired. We want those jackals fired!" The chant continues over and over. The camera zooms back to show an unshaven Paul Von Braun wearing a "Rocket City Wrestling Academy" wind breaker. His hair is disheveled. He appears to not have showered in a couple of days. A time stamp in the bottom right hand corner reveals the time of this recording, "1/4/12 3"3:15pm."] PVB: Jesse, that thing on? JVB: Yep. PVB: You saw the footage of our protest and the AWA's response days ago. We tried to voice our concerns peacefully. To show how serious we were, we enlisted the help of the law offices of Winchester, Smith, & Wesson. We joined forces with Joe Petrow to present a unified front and air our grievances in a peaceful manner. How does the AWA respond? [Von Braun grits his teeth and shakes his head.] PVB: By sending out an Iranian to silence us. They send out one of their contractual wrestlers to physically prevent us from being heard. The AWA Board of Directors RESORTED to an ACT of TERROR! They sent out Sultain Azam Sharif to SILENCE Joe Petrow. To silence the Von Braun family. The AWA sent a man to infringe on our First Amendment rights. A man born OUTSIDE of the United States of America, who BENEFITS from the SAME First Amendment. To you, Sultan, I say this. You are NOT American born. You have NO understanding of how hard Americans WILL fight to have their voices heard. You CAN NOT appreciate the amount of blood that has been shed over the last three-hundred years to give us these rights and to insure we keep these rights. Do not try to silence the Von Brauns or Joe Petrow again. Or you will see how hard we will fight to insure you do not silence us. You WILL NOT establish a tyranny, Sultan Azam Sharif. Terror and fear are the tools of Iran, the tools YOU use. If you wish to use these tools, leave this great country and return to your third world desert. To you, Percy, I simply say I received the letter from the law offices respresenting you -- Dewey, Cheatum, & Howe. Your attorneys will be hearing from our attorneys. [Von Braun pauses and looks back at the protesters for a moment. He looks back at the camera.] PVB: Jon Stegglet, you're a coward. You showed the world on New Years Eve just how yellow you are. You stepped down as Interim Commissioner and laid this entire mess at the feet of "Big" Jim Watkins. You hoped to absolve yourself of any wrong doing. You ARE responsible for these henious actions. These atrocities were commited on YOUR watch. You will NOT quietly slink back to your desk and watch from the safety of your Ivory Tower, Jon. You will answer for these atrocities. Let me list them just in case you've "conviently" forgotten for the sake of plausible deniability. One: The atrocious and reprehensible actions committed against Scott Von Braun, a true statesman of the sport of professional wrestling. A man who commited his whole life to our great sport and gave more than he was ever given in return. A man whose shadow casts a tall legacy in this sport when compared to the diminutive contributions of Simon Childes. Steven Childes and Percy Childes continue the bantam legacy left behind by their father and brother. Two: The treatment of a legend such as Joe Petrow. I started in wrestling in nineteen ninety-six, and the name Joe Petrow was synonomous with excellence, class, superstar, and many other rightly deserved adjectives. The AWA shows how they treat legends of our sport. Take a look at what happened to my father. The AWA shows their endorsement of this henious attack by continuing to employ Percy Childes, Steven Childes, and Daniel Tyler. They attempt to silence Joe Petrow by firing him when he speaks his mind. They fire and silence Mark Langseth due, a Hall of Fame legend, due to his association with Joe Petrow. They fire and silence the tag team of Rough and Ready, a future Hall of Fame tag team, due to their association with Joe Petrow. All because Mr. Petrow has the courage to ask for what was rightfully due his charges. Three: A lack of safety as shown by the vicious and henious attacks on Scott Von Braun, Alex Martinez, and Juan Vasquez in recent memory. The blinding of City Jack a few years ago. I might add, by the man who WEARS the National Title and REPRESENTS the AWA. [Von Braun scoffs.] PVB: Major League of Professional Wrestling indeed. Would you like me to list more of your offenses, Jon? How about not having the spine to clean up the mess YOU made? How about not hiding behind the other members of the Board of Directors? Can we expect Todd Michaelson and Bobby Taylor to come out and try to silence us? Speaking of Bobby Taylor. Didn't he GIVE Calisto Dufrense a shot at the National Title for INJURING his own brother? A former professional wrestler in a management position REWARDS someone for hurting his own family. And you expect Jim Watkins to be able to handle this quickly escalating situation without resorting to screaming at someone to "get in the ring and throw down?" We have demands. These demands are as follows: One: Fire Percy Childes, Steven Childes, and Daniel Tyler to show the sport of professional wrestling you truly care about your wrestlers and want to insure a safe working enviornment for them. Two: Show that you RESPECT those wrestlers who have contributed to our sport by meeting the above demand; reinstating Mark Langseth and giving him a shot he EARNED at the National Title; reinstating Rough and Ready as the Number One Contenders to the National Tag Team Titles and giving them a REMATCH they deserve; and reinistating Mr. Joe Petrow and offering a public apology from the ENTIRE Board of Directors for the disrespect shown to a man who has done so much for our sport. Three: Discipline Sultan Azam Sharif for his obscene actions against Joe Petrow. And four: Pubically denounce the atrocities commited against Alex Martinez, Juan Vasquez, and City Jack and show the American Wrestling Alliance will enforce a safe working enviornment by PUNISHING those reponsible. If these demands are not met, the Von Braun family will continue to speak out against the AWA. We will continue to picket the front office. We will continue our stand against the corporate oligarchy called American Wrestling Alliance. We will NOT be silenced. Today, January, fourth. Two-thousand and twelve marks the beginning of our movement: OCCUPY AWA!
