Is Brossard an homage to Bockwinkle?

Actually, yes. Bockwinkle and Larry Zybysko. After a while he just kind of drifted into his own niche, but that was the original idea in mind.

Gotcha. Just noticed some parallels between them after seeing some Bockwinkle interviews over the weekend.

If you really wanna know, Broussard started to take shape for real during Frasier re-runs.

Plagiarizing Frasier ... for shame.
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

I actually kinda miss the Bockwinkel/Larry Z Broussard. Especially the Super Ninja.

What made Broussard so effective early on was Ron Houston, imo. Also, the roster was a lot smaller so it was a lot easier for all the characters to know and hate each other. And there was a lot more exposure to be had

I also think something was lost when I stepped away to do the whole get married/go on honeymoon thing. And then the wifey got pregnant, and my Frasier time was severely curtailed.

And while I may have made Marcus a little more sleeker, the obnoxious use of five dollar words and basic values of condescension and nose turning will be Bockwinkle/Broussard tenets for always.

And giving people their finishes naked, if Scott Hall's shoot interview had any truth in it.

Stevie Scott is never going to let him live the Super Ninja down.
"Destruction of Hell" start playing as Mason drop the mic and exit the
ring as fans throw stuffs at him but he punch out most of the fans even
children.

If edje tha ninga ever reproduces, I think we're all gonna be in trouble!
