Well, following in the footsteps of PVW and AWA, what do you see happening in the UWF?
And here's where I pretend to be a writer...

* Juan Vasquez will be worn down by constant attacks by the New Alliance, barely escape a PPV cage match against Serge Annis- and be attacked by Trey DaMann, claiming he is getting his title match "right now". Trey takes the title and insists it's his, then spends several cards hiding from Vasquez before finally being forced to meet him in an "I quit" loser-leaves-UWF match.

* Victor Frost fights off several contenders, including Michael Bonn and Derek Martin, while Tommy Stephens gets an underground movement pushing him to challenge for the NA title.

* The Insanity Society end up losing the titles to Edwin Lopez and Johnny Axis, then split up and feud between Randall Osbourne and Tommy Elliott.

* Derek Martin starts showing up as "The Answer for the UWF", mocking the fans by constantly Tebowing before matches and proclaiming himself as the UWF's savior.

* The "Woman in Black" is finally revealed as Erin McCoys, vowing to rid the UWF of "this weak generation of wanna-be divas"

I predict...

...the most unlikeliest of feuds begins when Trey DaMann clashes with Tommy Stephens. Stephens, reaching out to a near-crazed Trey, tries to bring the former UWF World Champion back from the brink, while DaMann looks to destroy everything Tommy Stephens has built back up regarding his own mental health.

...the Woman in Black is Jessica Marshall, yet again trying to show up her sisters in all matters.

...Carmine Condor gets the mother of all fluke victories by cleanly pinning Serge Annis, who flashes back to the chicken suit YGW put him in all those years ago.

...Derek Martin will win the UWF World Heavyweight title without the help (or blessing) of the New Alliance.

...Johnny Detson comes back to the UWF, immediately trying to curry favor with Edwin Lopez and causing him to butt heads with Johnny Axis and Orin LeBlanc.

...Nikki the Cat wins a legitimate UWF title. Mind you, she'll win it in an illegitimate manner.
And here's where I pretend to be a writer...

-We will release at least FOUR cards in 2012 (Yeah, I'm an optimist)

-Edwin Lopez will be revealed as the leader of the 9th Street Spiders, thus bringing further trauma to Alex Martinez's already fragile psyche.

-The world will finally see a Serge Annis/Juan Vasquez match, despite not knowing that they ever actually wanted to see that match in the first place.

-The Woman in Black is actually Trey DaMann, trying to win a world title at any cost.

-Bonn wins the NA title and moves up significantly in standing on the card(Okay...that's an actual real prediction).

Things start to break down, and I mean really break down in the UWF in 2012. At first, it's just little oddities as the time difference between real world time and UWF time grows... maybe clocks don't run right, or cameras flicker on and off at odd moments. Some old faces from the past show up randomly - hey look, it's the Masters of Motion! Cool! But as time goes on, it becomes harder and harder to ignore the truth - temporal anomalies are ripping the fed apart. Characters and angles from different eras begin to blend together in an increasingly complex and convoluted way until, on the first Rampage after Gold Rush, the UWF basically collapses in on its own history. The MBC and AEWA compete to run an invasion angle, until of course the Invaders themselves show up to start a three way gang war. Everyone who was ever a member of Legion spends the whole show in a backstage brawl with everyone who was ever a member of the Pride, excepting 47 distinct copies of Tim Vexton, some of whom claim to be Shawn Vexton. The Skyweight Division returns for no particular reason. In a sudden and shocking reversal, Nikki the Cat's punches can now cure cancer. Marshall Law is declared and revoked like clockwork every fourteen minutes and ten seconds. The Frat Boys create an alternate universe where every week of Rampage is just a two hour long Frat Boys promo, and in that universe it's the highest rated show in the history of television.

At first, the temporal anomalies all seem to have been manipulated by the New Alliance, as they are the ones benefiting from the chaos. 2012 Serge Annis wins the World title in a match he wasn't booked in, with help from 1997 Serge Annis, while A-Mart and D-Mart defeat the Twin Ninjas, the American Dragons, the Machines, and the impromptu team of Scud McKenzie and Kyle Backwood in a special Infinity Gauntlet match to gain control of an artifact that can give some measure of control over the time skips. Later, though, the intrepid sleuthing of Quinn Brown reveals that the Alliance are just pawns in the game of the Woman in Black, who is secretly Amy Marshall driven mad by an experimental new form of botox. In the end, even she is motivated by the desire to please her secret lover, Joe Owens. Joe's twin brother Moe has to make a heart-wrenching decision to sacrifice his own life to stop his by now insane brother's plot to remake the federation that scorned him 16 years ago in his own image.

Through the death of the Owens brothers, UWF continuity is rebooted. In the future, everything that happened in or before 2011 in the UWF is referred to as "Pre-Crisis UWF". No one is ever allowed to speak the name Owens again on pain of immediate expulsion from the promotion.

But that's just my theory, I could be wrong...

Congratulations De, you win the internet. I would absolutely book every single piece of that, if for no other reason to see the review Dro could make from it.

- POC will capture the NA title in 2012 if enough shows come out.

- Vasquez will get help from a returning legend to take on the New Alliance.

- Gamma Ray will return.

Josh Curtis doesn't count as a returning legend, you know.

And I forgot to highlight my favorite part of De's comment:

"The Skyweight Division returns for no particular reason."

- People will continue to make jokes about the timing of the shows...

- At some point, the power structure of who is calling the shots backstage will be laid out with some finality, wrapping up the loose ends in a neat little package and allowing for a sense of normalcy and stability

- The IS will implode under the weight of the titles and face off in a bloodbath in what will turn out to be Osbourne's final UWF match

- Michael Bonn will seriously headline.

- The New Alliance will not cross paths with Juan Vasquez once

- Pablo O'Connor will win gold. I don't know which title, but he will find it. I smell money...

- Gamma Ray will sell his mask & gimmick to Miyuki who will do wonders with it

- Trey DaMann will be diagnosed with a serious illness, but will be expected and forced to compete as no one believes him

* After biting off a piece of an opponent's face one too many times, Randall Osbourne can no longer control his taste for human blood. He turns full on cannibal, a fact discovered only when one of the jobbers go missing.

* Fearing a zombie outbreak, Tommy Elliot leads the rest of the Insanity Society in a shotgun and caffeine fueled battle that ends when Osbourne is put down Ol' Yeller style.

* Trey DeMann discovers he has his own healing punch and resurrects Osbourne. Trey goes on to market his healing touch and makes billions. Still, he will lament losing the World Title.

* Ryu Osawa will return but without Trice.

* Trice will be too busy promoting his "Monsters of BAWK~!" concert tour headlined by Chickenfoot.

* Serge Annis will finally met an opponent he's too terrified to face, Evil Incarnate itself. Turns out Evil Incarnate is a hot little number from Toledo named Irene. After a brief fight, they fall in love with one another and record an R&B album together with a cover of "Islands in the Stream."

* Nine months later Serge Jr. will be born.

Well, in old WWO canon Toledo was basically a fate worse than Hell and Celine Dion so maybe UWF can carry that torch!
Have I told you how much I loathe your continued existence today?
