Has an actual face won the PVW Heavyweight title?  As in "was a face when he won it", not "turned after the fact"?

Brian Young

He screwed Foley!

It was a teaching lesson. :)

Out of curiosity, Rog, how long had you been reading PVW prior to putting Legacy in?

Not at all. I read/skimmed during my time with Hollywood by Night which was a month or so during spring of last year. After flaking with them, I stopped. I haven't gone back and read anything from then til I put Legacy in.

EDIT: Ya know what, I'm wrong on this, Andy. I didn't read cards until joining with Legacy after the HbN fiasco. I mainly checked out RP packets to follow some characters. My memory has gotten worse with age, and it wasn't very good to begin with when I was younger.

On Cole: He is neither boring nor exciting in the sense that both statements are opinions and opinions are neither right nor wrong. Just mentally add "IMO" to every statement of "Boring" by Picky and boom, fact. His opinion is that Cole is boring. He's also said recently that the character grows on him and he's surprised by this and that piece for the character.

Have I been excited by every Cole promo ever written? No. If I disliked the character, however, I never would've wanted such a long program with him.

Note to self: Shy away from long programs. It's biting me in the hindquarters.

And as for the piece that everyone is arguing about (although most are stating that it hurt HvD) that was my try at salvaging the situation. Originally, the finish to Heatwave was written differently. The turnabout by HvD and HOPE was a surprise to me and I had to change my plans. I really liked the piece as written and tried to make my points while adjusting to the new situation. There's more to the plan, more than anyone can see right now (save Bell/Rob) and, hopefully, it'll make things okay in the long run.
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

Opinons: Everyone has them.

I, for one, don't dismiss the monster heel having a title run... I actually think that Craven would make a decent champion, but that taking it off Hayes isn't likely a good idea unless Hayes were to turn Face. But I don't think he'd be badly cast as the champion... actually, I tend to find the "Bitch heel surrounded by Four Horsemen"-stable to be an overly used cliche in wrestling and prefer the monster heel champion fighting on his own to Stable-with-a-Belt dominance.

But I also agree that having Craven come running through the airport did a little to break the angle... but not in the way alot of people are saying: It's comedic. You had this big dramatic moment and then immediately tried to salvage with sketch comedy, from my point of view. I was, again, reminded of the SNL skit with Sean Connery on Jeopardy.
