You think 10K is unforgivably long?

We need to get you some vintage Ace Of Hearts RPs.

When was an Ace of Hearts RP only 10K?

Yeah, I know 10k used to be a micro-RP back in the day.
:P

Going long (or writing too many things) is something I do too often myself, so I probably hammer on that for that reason.

I do wonder if that legendary Ace of Hearts is the same one that was in Katie's KEW...

Those were the Jacks. Dunno if it was the same handler or not (not familiar with Ace of Hearts), but I think the Jacks were in WLW beforehand.

I keep expecting Flouze to end with "And now you know the rest of the story..."
And here's where I pretend to be a writer...

They're all the same to me!

I think you said it last time and got it right, or maybe that was Dro's podcast? Don't remember.

Also, what do you use to make your podcasts?

I think the last last last podcast will be interesting and as I've said before: I already know about the suffix and it was an in joke that took nearly 2 decades for anyone to comment on (Olenskaya).

Since Ilya was based, looks wise, on an awkward exchange student friend and was meant to be a wide eyed innocent, good intentioned sort the standard male suffix was intentionally ditched. Since, at the time of the character's creation, the male suffix last names could conjure up certain feelings (especially in post Cold War USA). With the name Il-ya Ol-en-ska-ya the end sound is softer and it rolls off the tongue much better, hence the feminine suffix.
Have I told you how much I loathe your continued existence today?

What? Jonny R is no good?

For recording purposes, I use my rather obsolete home studio... Shure SM58 Mic patched out through my 8-track mixer and 4in/4out sound card which all provide a sound quality level completely wasted by the fact I keep the noisy-ass PC right next to where I set-up, meaning there's an inordinately high amount of background noise.

That background noise gets increased again, because as I mix in Sonic Foundry Vegas and record/edit in Sonic Foundry Soundforge (I never bothered getting newer applications), I compress the sound so that everything is loud enough (like on the radio, if you will), including the snorts and stuff.

I very much feel like I'm listening to NPR. I was apprehensive about listening to a Flouze Review because of your warning about some funky accent. But not so!

Good work.

Big fan of the reviews. A bit more blunt than Dro, but not quite so far into shock jock as Picky.

I find your podcast very useful, personally.

It's given me some things to ponder.

First review of yours I've listened to. Awesome radio voice. Slight hint of an accent, but agree with Doran. It's like I'm listening to NPR.
