nigh like high

I think you said it last time and got it right, or maybe that was Dro's podcast? Don't remember.

Also, what do you use to make your podcasts?

What? Jonny R is no good?

For recording purposes, I use my rather obsolete home studio... Shure SM58 Mic patched out through my 8-track mixer and 4in/4out sound card which all provide a sound quality level completely wasted by the fact I keep the noisy-ass PC right next to where I set-up, meaning there's an inordinately high amount of background noise.

That background noise gets increased again, because as I mix in Sonic Foundry Vegas and record/edit in Sonic Foundry Soundforge (I never bothered getting newer applications), I compress the sound so that everything is loud enough (like on the radio, if you will), including the snorts and stuff.

Ahhhh... that explains it. For what it's worth I hear almost no background noise... and I figured you had to at least have some sort of nice mic hanging around somewhere since it was pretty good quality audio

What tablet are you using and what phone is Errol using? What program are you trying to use for playback?
Have I told you how much I loathe your continued existence today?

Nevermind, I downloaded a mp3 player. Flouze sounds like Casey Kasem reviewing e-w.

Decided to download and listen. Yeah, you have a good radio voice and the accent isn't distracting to me. Otherwise, some good points and I like the attention to production detail... one of the reasons I don't do one of these things is that I'd just throw something up and I wouldn't care about the production details. I also prefer to type out my thoughts, as my own voice is deep, angry, and often comes off more harsh than I mean it to be.

Oh, and BTW... regarding the Ricky Steamboat reference, it's actually a part of the characters' history. I started playing Cole in late 1995, when E-Wrestling was actually in it's absolute infancy and was full of sim-feds. At that point in time, it was fairly common to refer to real wrestlers from the past because people had those connections... in later years, as in these recent ones, honestly I would have had to refer to my characters own self before I could refer to Keening or just about every "well-known" face in E-Wrestling. However, Rob Cole had done a number of interviews in Brians' old fed (AWMC) regarding his idolization of Ricky Steamboat... It may take people out of the moment, but it's something that I still identify with because of my own youth.

Now, it might be that I'm more willing to break the fourth wall than a lot of the handlers in the fed. It may also be as simple as maybe there was another Ricky Steamboat in our e-fed universe, but I can't go back to Cole being a kid and watching some "classic" e-wrestler when I've been playing this hobby in one form or another longer than some of the characters ever existed to begin with. It would be both weird and awkward.
