BREAKING NEWS | |------------------| EPSTEIN, KEENING RETURN - Capping another night of surprises, fans in St. Louis were treated to the return of two of the alltime greats as Alexander Epstein and Jason Keening made their first appearance in a ring since being attacked by the New Alliance late last year! They made it clear that revenge was on their minds, targetting the terrible trio during the SNR main event. And though Serge Annis and Derek Martin won the match, it's obvious that in addition to the members of RIOT there's another couple of guys out for the NA's blood. VASQUEZ PINNED... WITH HELP FROM HIS PARTNER? - The wild main event of SNR saw multiple uninvited guests crash the party, more mind games directed at the Epitome of Evil, and an unexpected conclusion to the match as Gamma Ray inadvertantly struck his partner, Juan Vasquez, with a steel chair. As a result Juan was pinned in the middle of the ring by Derek Martin, and while the number one contender to the world title seemed remorseful after the match it's making some people question the Irradiated Enigma's recent change of heart. ANOTHER LONG NIGHT FOR THE MEDICS - Once again, multiple injuries marred the night of action on SNR. Early in the show Edwin Lopez was injured by "Dead End" Derek Martin, after being put through a section of the barricade at ringside. He suffered a concussion in the fight, though results on a feared neck injury proved to be negative. While he's banged up, Lopez isn't expected to miss any ring time. The same cannot be said for Nikki The Cat unfortunately. Her match against Scottie Saratoga ended in disaster when Scottie deliberately broke her jaw. EMTs assessed the situation in the ring and recognized the seriousness of the injury, immediately taking her to a local hospital for treatment. There's currently no timetable for Nikki's return to action. In addition, several other wrestlers suffered minor injuries and bruises at SNR, but none are expected to miss ring time. PABLO GETS AWAY WITH ANOTHER ONE... OR DOES HE? - His first defense of the Unified Television Championship was a success, but it wasn't without controversy. "Up All Night" Pablo O'Connor defeated Randall Osbourne on SNR, but a large debt of gratitude must be given to Brett Young. It was Young who caused the DQ victory after Pablo and his wife verbally abused Brett's own daughter at ringside. But it may have backfired on the champion, who thanks to a #1 contenders match later in the night now has to face Brett on the next edition of Rampage! TRINITY SENDS A MESSAGE - From the moment they first formed, the triple headed monster known as Trinity has been putting the women's division on notice. But the most brutal example was made against Nikki The Cat, who suffered a broken jaw in her match with Scottie Saratoga. One thing is for certain, this group led by Women's World Champion "All Around Athlete" Laura Davis is serious about seizing the division by the throat. But one new question has to be asked after Rampage... are they on the verge of adding Summer Blake as their newest ally? |-------------| | II. UPCOMING LINEUPS | |-----------------------| It'll be a high stakes edition of Saturday Night Rampage this week when the Universal Wrestling Federation heads to LAS VEGAS, NEVADA! The MGM Grand Garden Arena plays host to SNR, as the fallout continues from last week's shocking main event! World Champion JUAN VASQUEZ suffered a pinfall loss, and some point the finger of blame at his partner and the number one contender to the title, GAMMA RAY! What will these Gold Rush opponents have to say to one another? In a gigantic six man tag team main event, THE NEW ALLIANCE faces their rivals in RIOT! This war's been brewing for some time now, but it all comes to a head in Las Vegas! And will ALEXANDER EPSTEIN and JASON KEENING be in Vegas for another shot at retribution? He's been waiting a long, long time to get his retribution, and this week on SNR "THE FANTASY" BRETT YOUNG will get just that when he meets his ex- partner "UP ALL NIGHT" PABLO O'CONNOR in singles action! At stake in this match is more than just the Unified Television Title though, it's family pride. For a few weeks now he's raised the ire of the North American Champion, and "THE NIGHTHAWK" MICHAEL BONN will see action on SNR against THE MESSIAH! But is the budding rivalry between Bonn and "VIOLENT" VICTOR FROST about to take center stage? In a big eight man tag team contest the future of the division is highlighted as the undefeated MIDNIGHT CHILDREN team up with FIRE AND ICE to face common enemies INDIA INC. as well as the rough and rowdy STARS AND BARS! In a match for the Women's North American Championship, SUMMER BLAKE faces "THE SHOW" SIERRA BROWNE in one-on-one competition!
