So, random question about wrestling these days. I don't really watch it anymore, but back in the day, it was possible for someone to get a shitty gimmick, let it not work out, then come back and have a career. Isaac Yankem / Fake Diesel / Kane, for example.

These days, with so many smarks, is it even possible for someone to end up with a gimmick that might work for a few months (i.e. this one), but then get old, to then reinvent themselves into something that *does* work? I don't watch enough anymore to see if this happens.

Just wondering if Jeff Jagger has a future as a bitch heel is all.

Probably not exactly what you're asking but the Grappler Formerly Known As Prince Albert (GFKAPA) vanished from the WWE for a few years and has now returned as a monster from Japan named Lord Tensai.

Oddly enough, the WWE is acknowledging that he was once in the WWE... but have yet to mention his former gimmick as a piercing nut with excessive body hair.

The WWE, of course, also takes indy guys and renames/repackages them frequently - see Colt Cabana's "epic" run as Scotty Goldman.
