As I've said on the last couple quasi-updates, I'm undecided what to do after this show.

The way I see it, we've got a few options.

A) We do one more SNW scheduled for August 25th. It would likely have a max of five written out third round matches which means three of our third rounders would be in highlight reel form. It also would mean we'd have one week to get BST done before it was late... insert punchline here. BST would likely have the Quarterfinals on Night One along with some non-tourney matches and the Semis and Finals on Night Two along with the Rumble and some non-tourney stuff.

B) We skip the SNW and just start writing BST as soon as THIS SNW is done. That means that an extra round of matches gets added to BST. So, we'd likely be looking at something like... eight Round 3 matches plus Vasquez/Monosso on Night One and Night Two jammed to the gills with the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals (seven matches), the Rumble, and the National Tag Title Match. It would make it incredibly difficult to squeeze any other non-tournament matches onto either night of the show.

C) We skip the SNW but still have some highlight reel Round Three matches that happen BEFORE BST and air on an All Access. Maybe three or four to trim down the total number of things needing to be written for BST. But honestly, any tournament matches that don't get written out for BST probably get replaced with non-tourney matches so it might be a wash.

In all honesty, either one probably means BST is coming out late. Just doesn't seem to be any way around that. It could be quite late really all things considered.

Any of the options more appealing to you guys than another? Any options that I haven't thought of yet? I really can go in any direction with this - I'll try and do whatever you guys think is best.

Hrm. C seems like a not-terrible idea as long as you avoid adding TOO many non-tourney matches...

I mean, none of them is a bad idea, C would just provide a little more flexibility for non-tourney stuff. The tournament should still be a big part of the focus, but there are a few more things blooming that will probably need addressing on BST...

Let's do A. My preference.

I like B, because it seems like the least amount of work for you, and doesn't relegate any third round matches to highlight clips.

You've got the tournament, a tag title match, and the Rumble. I don't think there's anything else that needs to be highlighted at this time.

I think no matter what you end up with the same amount of matches and workload.

That said, I kinda agree with Jer that A is probably the best choice.

Just as another side note, we do have another slightly big show right after it in Homecoming. If we have non-tourney stuff that doesn't make BST, it could fall to there.

If that helps anyone, there it is!

If that's an option that I vote THAT. Do whatever helps BST be as best it's can, whether A or B. Then have other important matches be on the next big show after so they aren't trying to vie for the spotlight the tourney is taking.

I just think it would be a little sad to have a guy get halfway through the tournament without having a single televised match, and B seems to be the only option that prevents that.

Aww, sentimental Joe.

Of course, Jerby Jezz is probably the only character who fits that description so his motives are clear!

At the moment, I think I'm leaning towards B with the non-tourney stuff that hasn't already been announced getting pushed off to Homecoming. I might be willing to do an All Access or two of highlight reel matches leading up to BST just so it doesn't appear as though the AWA took a month off in the middle of the summer.

But my mind can still be swayed if someone has a compelling argument!

I'd vote A or B and save some of the non tourney matches for the Homecoming supershow or whatever it is. Use BST Night one for the Quarterfinals and Rumble, and Night Two for the Semis, Tag Title Match, Finals, and a couple marquee matches that you know no matter what you are going to end up putting on there anyway.

I'm in for B, personally. But I also don't have any storylines that need telling before BST for the next SNW, so there's that to consider.

I would be happy to invite eight of the first round winners no longer in the World title tournament to return to the old studios to compete for the gleaming bronze WKIKrown.

B would appear to be the best choice, but A could work with the adjustment that the SNW would be a handler-driven show to feature squash matches and promos for BST (be it tournament, Rumble or other matches), with Blue only contributing announcements for Homecoming and a main event of some type... and with a deadline that's strictly enforced.

That could mean an SNW aired at WKIK studios and avoid the need for a pre-show for BST flashes -- although I would suspect a few might get placed on the show.

I'm also willing to do this one if there is enough people who have stuff they still want to do before BST.

Not at WKIK though... Center Stage in Atlanta, daddy!
