Now it's time to let the fans decide!
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

This has potential, but I wouldn't want to do it for Boiling Point, if only because I think it'd work better as something to build up to in of itself (ie, give Brian more time to come up with suitable choices to vote for that might fit the various angles).

Besides, if every match is gimmicked, it can be a bit headache inducing.

Background Info ... In a feud chain thread with Moze. The idea came up. I said if the fed / masses wanted it I would do something like this. However PVW has been very mild on stipulations.

And I wont like I did vote, No!

But the idea has potential if done right I recon.

All the matches should be Rules of Rebirth.

The votes are racking up quickly. I should've just phrased it as "yes/no" because committing a pre-existing PPV to a new concept seems kinda silly. Looks like a majority of people are saying yes~!

But then the fans get to pick the stips for each match, yes?

I really should have voted no. But I do agree with the fact that it could be interesting but I think Katie's point is right on the money. Boiling Point is a bad choice for it.

It could be something that maybe gets announced as it's coming at the end of cycle and we can spend the first half of the cycle promoting the participants in the various matches and the second half voting on the match type.

I def think for the JTF readers to vote on it, you'd need a slew of matches for them to pick from. I dun think it woudl work if the pairings were done completley random. And you can do things based on current feuds, ro past ones... For exmaple, fans can pick Craven to fight Cole or Marley... something laong those lines would be cool.

Not to mention Gibson Hayes already blaming The Conspiracy no matter what the fans vote for. :B):

I voted no, for the exact reason Brian stated. PVW has been very light on gimmick matches.

I love gimmick matches. I love the idea of a "Cyber Sunday" type of PPV for an e-w fed.

Just not for PVW.

I voted no because I felt that the arbitrary and random nature to the voted gimmick concept doesn't really do much to help propel any feuds. They make gimmick matches mean far less, in my opinion. I don't really want to see that happen. I'd rather see the match develop from a story coming from the events between both wrestlers.

I feel similar about things like TNA Lockdown or Hell In A Cell. Making a PPV nothing but "A" vs. "many" gimmick match(es) just takes away from the story being told by the match itself.

But this is all my opinion. I'm not going to refuse to do anything, but it will feel better if it fits vs. being placed overtop the match.

I voted no because this is the dumbest idea since that colossally idiotic match Moze had against Manson, and that was capital S stupid.

You know what? I voted "yes" but for another PPV. You know why? Because I'd like to see it. You know why I'm posting my reaction?

Me neither.

I rarely show up on these boards other than to read the occasional review... but in order to read those reviews I have to sift through ten miles of jibber jabber in order to read criticisms of the work done by myself and others. MEH!!!

I'm criticizing your post because I think it was awful.
