I added a pointless "no" because I don't think it should apply to _all_ the matches of a PPV, just some or most.

That said, I do like the interactivity factor, so instead, I'd go with a format like:
We vote on the gimmick for 1 of the matches of every PPV. Instead of dedicating a full PPV to the idea, I'd do it with 1 match per PPV...

That's not a bad idea. Make the Fan Choice Match a gimmick match itself.

Each wrestler picks a gimmick match they want, the PVW Competition Committee (Brian or Rob, depending) picks a stipulation they want, and then it comes out here for the fan vote. Only the fedheads get to see the vote results, and they only tell the matchwriter.

Wow .. You know that may be a fun idea. Fan Choice Match spot for each PPV.

Ew. I want to keep the infestation of stupid to a minimum. Of course, the Meatgrinder ate up that limit for the next 87 years.

Really, Moze, that was awful.
Have I told you how much I loathe your continued existence today?

Well, yeah. It would only work if Moze can't submit match gimmick ideas, obviously.
I didn't think we needed this to be specified any longer...

Hey! That isn't fair. The fan choice thing was my idea! :P
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

Was this worse then Endgame: Human Chess Match from UEW?

I swear when Pat, Sumir, and I came up with it--it sounded better than it came out.

Further proof that sometimes you only need a chicago street fight or a steel cage to make magic.

General Rule of Thumb- any match with 'Meat' in the title will not be a 5* classic...

Do I even want to know what the Meatgrinder was? Was it as bad as the Meatman Challenge from IIWF?

It was a scaffold/coal miner's glove match if I recall.

I...really don't want to go into anymore details.

That's the problem; it wasn't easily pigeonholed. Those who understood it said it would go over great in WWE or TNA but to read it, for some reason, confused a lot of people. I'm gonna try to break it down more simply than ever before. Bear with me.

The actual apparatus was basically the top of a steel cage (Hell in a Cell style) suspended from the ceiling. Opening in the center. You could use a ladder or just climb the turnbuckle to scramble up onto the platform. Above the opening in the center is a weapon appropriate to the match. Knock your opponent out with the weapon (or, really, just in general) and you win~!

The match itself I think came off very well. The whole platform, described as rickety and dangerous, collapsed with both men on it. Real hardcore garbage. I love it. Me and maybe two other people. And no, one of those was not Craven's opponent (Manson handled by Berger, natch).
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

Kind of like your average political debate except that someone winds up with salmonella?
