This tag team war started after Boiling Point II when the PLATINUM CLUB, then Lineage, locked Beau Wilson in a broom closet and cost GOLD RUSH their debut match. Since then tempers have flared and battles fought! Now finally all will come to a head as the current HEAT Invitational Tournament Champions, GOLD RUSH, square off against the PLATINUM CLUB! Will the HIT trophy continue to propel GOLD RUSH to the top of the PVW or will the words of Randall Veermer come to fruitation and the PLATINUM CLUB takes it's place as an elite team of the PVW!

The PVW tag teams will continue to take center stage as the bullies of the PVW, Beast and Violence, the SONS OF ANARCHY step into the ring once again against not one but two teams! The strange duo of "Da Cow God" MOO and EL POLLO LOCO, collectively known as COW and CHICKEN, look to avenge the mugging that Beast and Violence delivered to MOO on the last Shockwave. These two teams have been in the ring before and it quickly broke down; so chaos is expected once again but to make things more interesting Arvelle's new HEAT of PACO MAGNON and QAIM ABD AL-NAJEM will be involved in this match as well! Three teams but only one can leave their mark at Shattered Dreams!

==>I'm actually putting both predictions here for a reason. Regardless of who wins the Tag Titles, they are going to need a strong heel challenger after the PPV. I think both the HEAT and the Platinum Club make very good cases for being those challengers. I would probably give PC first crack as there looks to be trouble brewing between GR & HEAT that could easily spin off for the next cycle. Likewise, I think C&C and SoA need to finish off their business between themselves properly first.

Wrestling veteran, TRACY HUDSON has always been considered a little out there. This time tonight he may be considered the more sane one inside the ring as he steps inside the ring with THE BIZ ... or DRAGON KID ... or DRAGON BIZ. At this point nobody is sure what persona will show up to take on Cascadian Chaos. The only thing we know right now is these two can bring it and when that bell rings you know they will!

==>Giving the nod to Hudson here, though I'm unsure if Biz's mental state will still be in flux.

And in the spot designed for the PVW TELEVISON CHAMPIONSHIP ... There couldn't be a match better designed to set the pace for the night to come or convince those on the fence to order the PPV at the last second. A rematch that blew the doors off at Boiling Point ... Wrestling sensation ADRIAN FREEMAN steps back inside the ring with the man who entered as the mega-prospect, but now stands as the PVW TV Champion, SUPREME WRIGHT! The first match ended up in a back and forth draw. Since then, mind games have been played ... Words have been spoken. It's time for two of wrestling's best to step inside the ring for the PVW TV CHAMPIONSHIP, settle the score, and lead us to -

SHATTERED DREAMS!

==>Hard fought match, but Wright retains. I admit, I'd actually like to see Anderson & Hoyle have their feud heat up using Biz and Freeman as their proxies afterwards, but I'm biased because I came up with the idea. :P

As for Wright, I could see what starts off as a rivalry based off respect get a lot more complicated when a third wheel decides to interject himself into things. Namely, what starts off between Heath Dawson and Supreme Wright leads to the Mercenary wanting to clear off some unfinished business with Dawson -- and maybe snag himself a title off another undeserving newbie to boot.

What happens when a member of a legendary tag team steps sets foot in the PVW? Misery happens! MARCUS MANSON has left his mark in the PVW from the moment he set foot into the PVW ring from War Games to the Meatgrinder. Now what happens when an unstable man steps foot into the PVW? A path of destruction! FRANK KNIGHT has torn through the PVW leaving pain and suffering whenever he stepped into the ring. But even FRANK KNIGHT has even suffered misery in the form of his precious, the PVW Television Championship belt being taking from him and Uncle Frank blames Marcus Manson for that. Now these two men, who have left one another bloodied messes square off at Shattered Dreams and one of these men will have to apologize to the other for the suffering they have caused! Will it be MARCUS MANSON or UNCLE FRANK looking into his opponent's eyes and uttering the words I'M SORRY?

==>I'm giving this to Frank. if there's any member of HOPE that should get the W, it's everyone's favorite uncle.

This has been called by many WILLIAM CRAVEN'S night. However, Todd Johnstone might have something to say about that. After destroying the Major Damage mask and sending a direct message to the Motor City Madman, the former PVW American Champion, HERSCHER VON DONKERHARDT isn't about to be intimidated. Can the Netherlands submission expert do what many men fail to accomplish? Will the Motor City Madman set the stage for what could be later tonight?

==>This is going to be an ugly affair. I think HvD will win, but I don't think he's going to be in any condition afterwards to fight in the Rumble...unlike Craven.

He has been called many names ... Wrestling Devil, most vicious man in wrestling, heartless bastard, and bloodlusting goth are just a few. After defeating the locker room leader, Sinister for the right to mentor the young masked luchardore ... SPECTRE has made claim that he will make SENOR CLOAK DOS ready to take on HOPE. Finally, at Shattered Dreams ONE ON ONE ... PVW's most lovable masked fan favorite will face his most difficult challenge yet to find out if he is ready to take the torch and accept the task of standing up for the fans. Can Senor Cloak Dos survive the violence ahead of him? Or will Spectre do like he has done many times before break the fan favorite?

==>Honestly, I actually think SCD needs to lose this match. He needs that touch of grit added to his four-color. He doesn't need to be broken by any stretch of the imagination -- bloodied, but unbowed works here. But this is a match that I think SCD will gain more as a character by losing.

The man who has defied death was mere moments away from walking out of Boiling Point II with the PVW American Championship Belt wrapped around his waist until 'THE PARIAH' DEREK WEAVER made his PVW debut and stunned the world by costing 'EVERLASTING' PERRY FONTANA fifteen pounds of gold. As the two men have battled injuries have been sustained but a mutual respect seems to have forming as well. Will 'The Pariah' walk out of Shattered Dreams showing why Todd Johnstone and HOPE invested so heavily in him or will Fontana once again show why he is one of the PVW elite!

==>Fontana wins...but his troubles have just begun.

PVW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - The fans have already witnessed one hard hitting affair between these two teams as they battled to unify the ASLL and PVW Tag Team Championships but that match was brought to an abrupt halt by a number of ASLL Tag Team Challengers. Now it's round two as THE BERSERKERS, the current ASLL Tag Team Champions step back into the ring with the PVW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS MAX WEINRIB AND SALIH MUBARAK! Max and Sal have not backed down from a challenge in the PVW since they won the tag team champions at Boiling Point II but the men from the Windy City are not just any challenge. Who will walk out as the dominate tag team on the PVW?

==>WOO-HOO! Go Team Max & Sal! Screw objectivity!

The opportunist struck again and this time he struck gold. At Tradition, CHRISTOPHER BLACK became the PVW AMERICAN CHAMPION! At Shattered Dreams, Black will place that newly won title on the line against a man who has wore gold in the past ... Coming off a series of huge victories, CHRIS HARTT is ready to step into the ring and teach the Bad Wolf a lesson ... Opportunities only get you so far!

==>WOO-HOO! Go Team Black! Yes, I have a highly-developed streak of self-preservation...why do you ask?

What happens when you take two of the biggest ego's in our industry and you stick them inside the ring in a TWO out of THREE falls match? We are about to find out! The PVW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP will be on the line when GIBSON HAYES defends against JOHNNY DETSON! These two wrestlers are wildly considered two of the best in the game today. Gibson Hayes as defeated everyone who has stepped in his path, but if there is one man who knows how Todd Johnstone operates it's Johnny Detson. Detson cashed his called shot in cementing his number one contendership, but the big question looms ... Can Johnny Detson win the big one? In Las Vegas we will find out!

==>Oooh, this is gonna be slick. I want to say Detson so badly. But even if he wins, will he remain someone that the PVW fans cheer for? I swear, this heavyweight belt is cursed when it comes to rooting for the lesser of two evils...

One match, thirty men, one goal ... to become the number one contender to the PVW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! Two men will start the match and every two minutes a new man will enter with the same thought, the same desire to be the last man standing in the center of the ring; to be able to call themselves the NUMBER ONE CONTENDER and challenge for the PVW World Heavyweight Championship at Rise from the Ashes III!

Who will stand alone?

Will it be the forty year old William Craven, the upstart Senor Cloak Dos, the giant Erich Seiger, the man who defies death Perry Fontana, the crazed goth Spectre or will someone like Heath Dawson, Adrian Freeman or even Uncle Frank shock the wrestling world?

==>OK, it's a crap shoot when it comes to speculating. From a storytelling perspective, I can make arguments for either Cole or Craven being the one to take it. Both are force of nature characters that could work well against Hayes or Detson. Likewise, for Cole, having that title shot is bait with his feud against Young. And yes, I made an earlier prediction of Detson potentially having angles with Cole &/or Craven should he win, so my ego is still in play. :P

The guy haunting Sinister will reveal himself to be Caleb Foley. ETA: Or Joshua Curtis. :P (serious answer: Tommy Ryder possible?)

Why did I say Fontana's troubles are just starting? Because Weaver's newest, bestest friend Uncle Frank is going to take it upon himself to avenge the Pariah's loss. Much to Todd's dismay as he initially wanted Frank to be the one to teach Seiger a lesson of hurt...

...however, should HvD still be able to move and act, Johnstone sics the Dutchman on the 7 footer instead.

The loser of Detson/Hayes WILL be entering as the final participant.

Both Talion and Whisper will be unmasking. I don't know anything about Mannfred Lester, so I won't make the call if he's actually one of these guys or not or even fighting at all in the Rumble.

Headway will be made in the KQ/Nevermind, Danny Daniels/Chance Holiday, & Larry Gionet/Chase Williams angles during the Rumble, perhaps leading to see some of these feuds wrapping up on their own within a Heatwave or two.

Potential seeds for new feuds are sown -- Hudson/Manson and SCD/Hayes (should Gibby have lost :crying:). ETA: Actually, now that I think about it, making it a three way between SCD/Spectre/Hayes would be VERY intriguing...

We will finally find out who took out Gutch.
And here's where I pretend to be a writer...

Thanks to Sonby and Picky for providing some feedback - not on this thread but whatever.

I'm too lazy to do reviews of my own, besides, I'm supposed to be writing a match. (It's currently sniffing another match's behind somewhere in the middle of the track, btw.)

Instead, I'll just fantasy book things how I'd do it, bwahaha!

Platinum Club vs Gold Rush
==========================
Gold Rush has been looking good lately, Beau's been getting more of a personality and they've had a few wins to tuck under their belt - like the HIT2 (which has been put over by all teams involved, thereby making it worth something). That said, Platinum Club has been looking like the break out team so far in no small part due to Randall Vermeer quickly becoming the best chickenshit heel in PVW, a type of heel that PVW has been sorely lacking (and still lacks among singles). And since the tag champs (whomever wins) will need heels to challenge, Platinum Club sound like a natural fit, therefore I'd give them the win here.

Sons of Anarchy VS Cow & Chicken VS The Heat
==========================
These are all good teams. SoA are still sort of... not very defined in terms of depth, but they do have a gimmick that sets them appart in the division. Myself, I don't have any reservations about whether C&C fit in PVW or not, the fed has had much sillier, much more oblivious characters in the past. To me, they work. As for the Heat, they've been pretty damn integral in rebuilding the entire division. Not sure about switching out Maxime for al-Najem is a worthwhile upgrade, but whatever. Heat will need props for services rendered sooner or later, so I expect they'll win this match, or rather steal it via shenanigans.

Tracy Hudson vs The Biz/Dragon Kid
==========================
Man, I don't know. In the previous cycle, Biz used to be a pretty generic arrogant heel, and this cycle, he's been hard at work making himselves stand out... and Hudson has sold it, no question there.
This is the kind of match I can't predict, really, because everything hinges on the Dragon/Biz payoff. If it's good and fun and stuff, then Biz earns the victory. But a pessimist like myself would tend to think it's more likely to be something disappointing, in which case you'd really have to give Hudson the win.

Nevermind vs Quartermann
==========================
Sure, it's not here, but it probably should be. However, thanks to the fact they've mostly feuded through proxies, the feud can last at least half a cycle more up to Tradition VIII, maybe even beyond.

Supreme Wright (TV c) vs Adrian Freeman
==========================
Simple, but this has been the best angle this cycle - or at the very least top 3. Me, I'd make this the blowoff, be sure the whole thing ends on a high and doesn't draw out until it starts sucking. Personally, I'd book Adrian Freeman to win with a side order of blatant cheating. Why? There are more heels than faces that are over in PVW, making it easy for Wright to climb up the ranks to American Title level. Meanwhile, as TV champion, Freeman would be able to help a new babyface get over.

SHATTERED DREAMS!

Marcus Manson vs Uncle Frank
==========================
I admit it, Uncle Frank has been my favourite character to follow this cycle, and if there's one guy I'd like Fontana to feud with, it's Uncle Frank. As mentionned elsewhere, Manson did hold his end. It takes two to tango, after all. Still, Frank's the undeniably "hot" one, which doesn't mean I'd make him win. In fact, I'd have Manson win this match.

William Craven vs HvD
==========================
Craven's one of the few "monsters" I like and Moze is a much better writer than I'd ever be, but he really failed to make HvD look like more than an afterthought this cycle. Could HvD have been more present? Yeah. Regardless, unless Bruffy had to take a hiatus or something, I believe I'd have to give HvD some sort of screwjob win.

Derek Weaver vs Perry Fontana
==========================
JC's the man.

Spectre vs Senor Cloak Dos
==========================
Senor Cloak Dos could have been the chosen face to become #1 contender if Dro had not deliberately sabotaged it all to be sure he could avoid that fate. Well played, Dro. *shakes fist!* As a result, I'd have Spectre go over here... and with the former heir apparent to the contendership out of the picture, Spectre enters the rumble with momentum, and giving an "anything can happen" feel to the rumble.

Max & Sal (tag c) vs Berzerkers
==========================
Face vs face, and the 'Zerkers seem to be less present as of late, giving me the easy choice of having the champions retain.

Christopher Black (American c) vs Chris Hartt
==========================
Hartt hasn't had a whole lot to work off this cycle, as Black who, despite the vile demeanor, seems to have done little more than be mildly irritating to Hartt, as a result, I don't really know how to book this match. As with Quartermann/Nevermind, since Black & Hartt have had little direct contact, they could easily go until Tradition VIII, though it would have to quickly turn into one of the top angles to be sustainable up to the PPV after that. The title doesn't seem to suit Black as I thought it would, though I am loathe to have an American champ's reign last less than a whole cycle... so in the end, I'd have Black retain this time.

Gibson Hayes (World c) vs Johnny Detson
==========================
If it was RP vs RP, even based on the entire cycle, it'd probably be too close to call. So I'd pick Detson for some more practical reasons. First... the character sort of needs it, even if his reigns lasts all but one show, doesn't matter, he just needs this particular win - though that alone wouldn't be enough to clinch the win, not by miles. The main reason I'd choose Detson is that Hayes forces Brian and Rob to give the rumble win to a babyface, severely limiting the choices. But at this point, Detson can either remain a defacto anti-hero babyface (or even fully turn face thanks to accompolishing the major feat of beating Hayes)... or he can somehow turn heel, even though that's not as good a choice since he'd sort of have to live up to Gibson Hayes' standards of heeldom right away. Whichever the case, Detson as champion means the rumble winner can either be a heel or a face, giving a much wider variety of possible winners.

And speaking of...

30 Man Rumble +2!
==========================
Given the choice of World Champion, now there are suddenly tons of viable winners which can all offer some fun, interesting dynamics. But my own choice would be Uncle Frank Knight, the most devout member of HOPE, heeding a higher calling; avenging Gibson Hayes' loss and giving HOPE back to the world by chasing Johnny Detson. That would be awesome. Yeah, it means Fontana couldn't feud with Uncle Frank, but we all have to make sacrifices for the betterment of our fed.

Platinum Club vs Gold Rush
==========================
Platinum Club is one of the consistently better reads in PVW, and my secret hope is that somehow they manage to snatch the tag titles from Max and Sal. Gold Rush is also a good to great read on most every Showcase, and I'm kinda thinking these two split off here with a Platinum Club win but come back around for a higher profile feud down the line.

Sons of Anarchy VS Cow & Chicken VS The Heat
==========================
Sons of Anarchy. C&C are still finding their ground, and Picky has essentially admitted that The Heat are in the fed to get other people over. So there.

Tracy Hudson vs The Biz/Dragon Kid
==========================
Biz after the shocking reveal that shocks no one, with Hudson seeking revenge for letting himself be that stupid.

Nevermind vs Quartermann
==========================
Not sure. Quartermann, because Alan would rather play the character of Nevermind to the hilt rather than play him for wins?

Supreme Wright (TV c) vs Adrian Freeman
==========================
I was the one who flaked on this due to property settlement, so I know the booking. Pass.

SHATTERED DREAMS!

Marcus Manson vs Uncle Frank
==========================
RP to RP it's Uncle Frank, although Manson picked it up at the end. I think this is booked to counteract the mainer. If Gibby wins, Manson wins. If Detson wins, Big Bank Frank wins.

William Craven vs HvD
==========================
This needs to be HvD's swan song. Offers nothing, minimal RPs. In the year or so I've read PVW HvD has been Skim City, at best. His story fits in with HOPE's fuckery and the cunning wiles of the cunning wiley Todd Johnstone, but dude hasn't held up his end of the bargain whatsoever. Craven gets a dominant win, or paralyzes HvD and then pulls him on top for a pin after Dr. Victor Schwartz hits him with the urn. Or something similarly appropriate.

Derek Weaver vs Perry Fontana
==========================
Weaver is the true riser in HOPE and Fontana needs to lose to explore his facedom and what it means to come back from defeat. Weaver with a win, then shortly after captures the American Title...

Spectre vs Senor Cloak Dos
==========================
This ought to be a Rebirth match, by the by, to give it some symmetry with my masterpiece from Tradition. If Big Daddy Sin couldn't beat Spectre in a Rebirth match, how on Earth could Senor Cloak Dos. If you're gonna make SCD a big face, give him big odds to overcome. I think this is telegraphed for a SCD victory and a rocket up the card type push, but maybe I'm taking the bait here.

Max & Sal (tag c) vs Berzerkers
==========================
Max & Sal. Berzerkers are merely the last guy at the bar. After this cycle, Max & Sal get pushed from Platinum Club and what would have been a fantastic Legacy team.

Christopher Black (American c) vs Chris Hartt
==========================
First of all, I think if Brian and Rob were really ambitious, they'd have Hartt lose and snap, turning heel as a self righteous, what about me heel. But I think Hartt gets the win here, as Black doesn't need a title (Good call, Pickycast) and Hartt would then be the guy who Weaver beats for the American title.

Gibson Hayes (World c) vs Johnny Detson
==========================
If I were calling the shots, I'd have Detson either win in two straight and force Gibson to actually give a fuck about something, or have Gibson win the first fall, then get intentionally disqualified via use of an international object, and go off on an extended heat segment before Detson wins with a Savage/Steamboat like inside cradle. Detson gets the title, finally doesn't choke and Gibson is faced with adversity for the first time ever. However, JD would be a transitional champion, as Gibson finally WOULD give a shit and would interfere in JD's first title defense, and coupled with the severe injuries suffered at the Shattered Dreams match, Detson would lose the title to...

30 Man Rumble +2!
==========================
...Brian Young. Who would not win the Rumble, incidentally, he'd just finagle his way into a title shot before Rob Cole, who does win the Rumble. Other predictions include Erich Seiger getting the Diesel push, and Adrian Freeman lasting the longest in the whole deal.

I'm also expecting at least 3 podcasts to review this. Thank you and you're welcome.

Damn. In his defense, I know the handler's been really busy and whatnot, plus the whole feud seemed to fit like a sandpaper condom... I think they did well with what the could to salvage it.

Yeah, I know the situation. It's funny how poorly this worked, considering how well I actually get along with Bruffy...
