It was indeed...nearly perfect.

Kudos, Jer.

Indeed, I echo Don. Nearly perfect.

And I am really, REALLY hoping now a certain prediction of mine is on the horizon. :boxing:

Which one?
Have I told you how much I loathe your continued existence today?

The spinning piledriver was the setup for the figure four?

The 70's really were the greatest time in wrestling...someone's got to make a Fred Hoyle/Hamilton Graham legends match happen.

I have to admit even though I knew there was absolutely no chance it was happening I was rooting for Langseth to pull it off.

Great card. I liked the grammar mistake in the sign sets the tone nicely :)

I kid, thanks for the great match Cobi and Jer did an excellent job as well.

I read the Rumble on the way home from an away scrimmage. Magnificent. And I would be remiss in saying that this incarnation of Lester seems to be influenced by Rumplestiltskin from Once Upon A Time. Dearie.

Hoyle versus Anderson each taking a heel as their proxy.

I originally had it as his finisher, but then Don told me his finisher was a figure four. I did not want to change the spot, so I changed the text.

Fantastic show. To whoever wrote the Manson/Frank match, job well done indeed. Originally the plan was for Manson to win, but sometime during the feud Berger and I decided to let Brian and Rob call the ending because, hey, surprises are fun. :) Part of my intention for this feud was to have Frank help put some of the spotlight back on Manson, a character I really like, but who had been getting somewhat less attention than I felt he deserved in the weeks and months before the feud started. With that I like how they decided to do the ending of the match. Having Manson be the one to walk away from the match despite losing it did, I hope, help solidify his position as a major threat to anyone on the roster. So, kudos to the matchwriter again and I'm looking forward to see where Manson goes next.

Oh, and honestly, the lion's share of the credit for the feud should go to Berger, because much of what Frank did and said in our joint segments was stuff he came up with. He made my job of writing Uncle Frank even easier than it usually is.

And that Rumble was just plain awesome. I absolutely loved Seiger picking up Uncle Frank by the leg and holding him upside down, as well as the bit where Langseth suckered him into discussing how to counter a hold, distracting ol' Uncle Frank. :)

I feel like I did better work writing Uncle Frank in joint segments this past cycle than I did writing my own character (which is backed up by some of the comments we've gotten on said segments :P). A real testament to the personality Steinar has built for the Uncle Frank character!

And Steinar was a great handler to work with. if you have a chance to do an angle with Uncle Frank, take it! :)
