Is that what was meant by "obvious" booking? Redux of 1980's RL wrestling?

Okay, that _is_ actually obvious in retrospect...
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

The "obvious booking" was City Jack going over Juan Vasquez for the AWA National Title in his final match at Memorial Day Mayhem, thus paying off his storyline, before Calisto Dufrense comes out to use his special contract from Bobby Taylor to immediately challenge and defeat a spent City Jack, thus re-paying off their storyline with a horrifying, sickening coda, after which Vasquez dedicates himself to avenging his friend and leading to the big Dufresne/Vasquez blowoff match at SuperClash III.

The "non-obvious booking" was Juan Vasquez going over and leaving him nothing to do but feud with Aces and Eights until Wrestlerock, when Dufrense beats Vasquez after all of Vasquez's heat has dissipated, Vasquez disappearing for several months until his emo doppelganger returns to say that everyone has wronged him and he doesn't want a match with Dufresne, and he spends the next several months fighting enhancement talent as a tweener until the JTF Universe names him the Face of the mid-Year as a protest vote.

No, I'm not bitter. :crying:

Oh, and after reading the results of CHIKARA's King of Trios, I'm more convinced that I want to do a tag gauntlet filled with legit contenders, wacky teams, and teams from the past in guest appearances.

It was all Petrow's fault that it didn't happen like that, btw. I also blame him for Danny Morton's broken arm and Big Mama becoming skinny.

Are you claiming that I have the power to bring about things that I don't want?

Rumble is basically done at this point. Down to the final four. So it should be done tonight. Then I can start on the world title match. With any luck, the show should be done in the next day or so. Sorry for the delay. Thanks for all your patience.

I also wanted to point out - as is probably pretty obvious by this point - that Homecoming will need to be pushed back date-wise. There's no point in trying to post-date it because that starts a never-ending cycle of stuff that we never get close to catching up to.

The question is - what's the best in-character reason to postpone that show that we can use?
