Good thing you said to keep it brief...or else I would've dropped a 10k Jeremy special!

I also had trouble finding the end _but_ I think it was still brief by most standards...

Fought the urge to write a strat for the match too, but that wasn't called for. It would've gone something like "'Accidentally' take out the ref. Pick a part of Wright and bite it off."

But perhaps I've said too much... :devil:
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

Here's another topic to discuss while we're waiting...

Should this year's SuperClash feature a Steal The Spotlight Showcase?  And if so, should it be in the traditional elimination match format or something else?

Traditional elimination match format, if only because I like the process of getting the teams assembled.

Nobody's all... "Hey, it's Empire Sports! Let's do the MITB ladder match!"

Color me a bit surprised considering some of the recent discussions I've had about that show. It's like hanging an Empire Sports banner in the building means we're bringing back the Killing Box or something.

Speaking of gimmicky STS matches, here's a thought that popped into head today...

Blatantly ripping off ROH's Survival Of The Fittest, we have six Qualifiying matches with the six winners moving into STS. STS will only allow two in the ring at a time with a strict "double team = DQ" rule in place. The winner is the last man standing.

It's obviously more gimmicky than we usually do yet not horribly gimmicky.

Thoughts?

We're just about to finish a tournament and you essentially want to run another one?

I thought we wanted to cut down on the time that StS took to write...not amp it up!

Tournament qualifying matches, Second Chance Battle Royal... It just feels like we've been having a lot of matches which lead to other matches recently.

I'm not opposed to the idea per se, just wondering if there might be other ways of setting up the STS.

I preferred the old way, where each team had a captain who'd just choose his team.

We should have a tournament to see who gets into the next tournament

Or an infinite tournament, where the winners AND losers both get fed back in to be scheduled for matches in the next round.

GM: If you want to take a man who has gone from one of the most hated men in the tournament to quite possibly one of the most popular over the course of the past few months, Supreme Wright would be that man.

BW: When he first showed up, he was known to the fans by the guy who took the training that the AWA offered him in the Combat Corner and then walked away to ply his trade in the first competitor to offer him a spot. He’s worked in Las Vegas and now holds gold in Phoenix... but there is no doubt that he’d trade all of that in a heartbeat to hold the World Title that is three victories away.

What's with all the feds running in the West? I never really thought about it until I just wrote that.

UWF is the "Toronto" territory and I suppose they dominate the east coast with an iron grip.
