Well... while we're working on First Tangle, I thought we should look ahead to the second round. We already know one match that we'll be seeing there as our field whittles down to a Sweet Sixteen but what other matches do we want to see?

Here's the list of those advanced so far minus Cooper and Donovan...

ADVANCED TO SECOND ROUND
---
Bumble Bee
Jackson Haynes
BC Da Mastah MC
Stevie Scott
Nenshou
Travis Lynch
Glenn Hudson
MAMMOTH Maximus
Scotty Mayhem
November
Tin Can Rust
Ron Houston
Jerby Jezz
Sweet Daddy Williams
Chris Staley
Rick Marley
Andrew Tucker
William Craven

Thoughts?

I think it's illegal for Jerby Jezz vs Bumble Bee not to happen.

And for my own personal revenge pick, Craven/Tucker!

There's actually some history there that doesn't involve seeded fruits. Craven once stalked SB's manager, Piper Evans, thinking she was actually his wife Lydia. Don't remember how it all ended; but it likely involved a wooden sword.

I think it also involved an eventual real sword...and a 40k strat.

You need to record an oral history of e-w before you get hit by a truck or something and our past is lost forever; because you remember pretty much everything. I do think it was a real sword and am almost certain it involved a 40k strat.

Ahhh ... I don't remember! How did we blow that one off? Was that the angle that ended prematurely 'cause Bad Eye McBaine and Demon Boy Ishryinku came out of nowhere to mess with Craven? Or was that ... okay, my memory sucks. I could dig through my Craven folder but I just checked and there are over 300 text files in that bitch.
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized, in unison, that tandem bicycles were AWESOME~!

After a quick bit of searching, it appears that Piper Evans became the manager of The Outfit after SB departed.

Then, at Rising Sun Rumble 2000, during a Tower of Doom match, she slammed the cage door shut on Craven's head to help Dave Bryant win the Tower for The Foundation.

It's at least teased on that show that Bryant and Evans are together. I can't recall that being a long-term thing though nor what we did with Craven after that.

SUDDEN TANGENT ALERT

I never understood the purpose of Piper Evans there with SB. She was handled by someone else entirely, but was in a fed with no female division whatsoever to be the manager of a tag team run by two other people. At least Erotic Erin and the Suicide Blondes were all run by the same person. There was no "money" in having Craven feuding with a tag team's female manager. The logistics of the whole thing is just weird.

Also...WHY WAS SB'S THEME MUSIC "BACK THAT ASS UP"!?!?!

Strictly Business, indeed.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that was Blue's idea. She was handled by Jenn (?) something or other if I remember correctly. She definitely didn't fit in, but since when does having a mix between a raver and Rainbow Bright around constitute a bad idea?

And that was NOT SB's entrance music. Bad accent or not, I would not have made a decision like that.

KG: Now coming to the ring.  Hailing from the sunny shores of California, at a combined weight of four hundred fifty-two (452) pounds, they are both very accomplished wrestlers in the singles ranks, and are currently the EMWC Tag Team Champions of the World... They
are Andrew "Flash" Tucker, "Money Driven" Mike Sebastian...

...STRICTLY BUSINESS!!!

[The crowd immediately leaps to their feet and fills the arena with cheers as "Back 'Dat Ass Up" by Juvenile reverberates off of the arena walls, the lights dimming to black.  Two bright green spotlights lance from the heavens, striking down at the head of the aisleway, and two figures soon saunter out from the back and into the spotlights, the pop becoming even more audible.]
