I was just reading the C Blue review of MDM 2011, and one of the blurbs is about how he started talking about a Jack Lynch vs. Ebola Zaire dog collar match, and how he wanted to write it and air it to hype a match.

Which got me thinking.

With all of the territories that exist in the AWA world, and the plethora of characters we've created to fill them out, there's got to be legendary matches that people still talk about, right?

Jack Lynch vs. Ebola Zaire, Dog Collar
Vernon Riley vs. Anton Layton, Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal
Hamilton Graham vs. Tommy Fierro, when Fierro won the (fill in the organization I can't think of) World title!
Ivan Kostovich vs. "Outlaw" Jim Watkins, in a Flag Match!

The possibilities are endless.
Cole Hamels Fact #1685: The Devil went down to Georgia because he knew if he went to Philadelphia, Cole would strike his ass out.

I'd like to see the Scott Mayhem turn... maybe Wallie can help us with that in SSW.

Lots of the PCW stuff would be cool to see... especially Blackjack Lynch stuff.

Pretty much all of John's MSW stuff.

It's like the bonus stages of Final Fantasy. We can keep cranking out material YEARS after the AWA croaks!

Pretty much all of John's MSW stuff.

Let's see...pulling MSW things from the recesses of my mind...

- The Ivan Kostovich vs. Junebug Walker match would have been huge. If you ever saw any Memphis wrestling from the early 80's when Lawler was quite possibly the most over wrestler in one building in the world, that's the atmosphere this match would have had.

- A lot of the Beale Street Bullies stuff would have been red-hot as well. Unfortunately I can't find the threads here that used to contain the histories so I can't single out any matches.

- The heel turn of Robert "The Regent" Royale (yes, a blatant copy...er, homage...of Jerry Lawler) on his mentor George Rogers and their subsequent feud which ended with Rogers losing a LLT match against Royale.

I have notes for but have not yet developed (and may never) the broken leg angle that turned Lawler into the mega-face he was in Memphis before heading to the WWF
"Destruction of Hell" start playing as Mason drop the mic and exit the
ring as fans throw stuffs at him but he punch out most of the fans even
children.

Jackson Haynes vs Morgan Dane in one of the bloodiest matches in PCW history.

I'd want to see the match where Shane Jr. recaptures the St. Louis title from Jack Stein during the no time limit match after the two had countless 30 minute and then 60 minute iron man draw matches. More importantly, how long did this epic match go for?!

This reminds me on some indy guy doing youtube videos, talking about how he's going to some big WWE event just to get attention.

Not saying there is anything at all wrong with that, but it's very 2012 meta indy 4th wall stuff.

I don't think there even was a YouTube when Ivan Kostovich and Junebug Walker were getting it on...

None of you deserve to see Tommy Fierro vs Hamilton Graham I, II, or III!
