In the midst of the fervor surrounding the upcoming Superclash IV, news has been leaking about the opening of Sunshine State Wrestling, based in Florida. News is sketchy at best, but the rumored feeder for the AWA would open soon after Superclash and include some part time AWA talent and new talent from around the country. Anton Layton and Vernon Riley have both been rumored to be a part of the company, Layton amongst those rumored to be running the day to day operation of SSW. |

Sunshine State Wrestling News: When it rains, it pours! Rumors have been running rampant since the announcement of Sunshine State Wrestling's formation, most in regards to the roster. Names have been flying from all over the world. Nothing has been made official but below is the list of rumored roster members: Johnny Malibu and Alexander Kinzo, formerly known as The Armani Exchange Underdog tag team, The Towel Boyz Tag teams Mark II and Black Mass Travis Cade, who recently appeared on AWA Television 7' monster Leviathan Veteran Tommy Fiero Manny Imbrogno Scotty Mayhem Second Generation wrestlers Felix Audiet and Ricky Armstrong Expect many more names to pop up as Superclash and the start of SSW appears. |

While I think a Wallie booked AWA territory will be outstanding, I'm kind of upset you didn't come up with our answer to Stampede Wrestling. For some reason, the Canadian Invasion of AWA is something that I think should be played up. On par with Hammy Grammy, the Lynches, the Layton-Riley history and Watkins as Bill Watts. I beat my head against the wall trying to come up with a Bulldogs esque team and goddamnit if I didn't fail miserably. But that should be a big deal, either way. At this point, I think half of the fun of AWA is making up the rest of the world it exists in. *ProfessorDoran lives in an alternate reality |
