I think that was it, actually.

No reason I couldn't, really. But yeah. Obvious booking.

Though, I do like my wrestling a bit edgier and Stampede was way ahead of it's time. Who in AWA in Canadian? :)

Rene Rousseau of the JTTS team The Northern Lights is from Quebec, which, as of this writing, is still a province of Canada.

We would suddenly have a huge spike in Canadian born wrestlers in e-wrestling and Jer would be hard at work on writing a French accent.

It's a total topic hijack but...

On a similar note, if the AWA were to purchase another territory ala the PCW thing that intro'd the Lynches and Rex Summers among others, what territory would you like to see and who would be the stars of that territory to be brought in?

Georgia, California or Kansas City.
Cole Hamels Fact #1685: The Devil went down to Georgia because he knew if he went to Philadelphia, Cole would strike his ass out.

Buying up a territory that includes the "four corners states" would be a nice progression towards the eventual take over of the West Coast. (I've furthered my northern Cali promotion into the 90s storyline wise ;) ). You could make Rog write up a continuation of KCW and take over Tennessee. Philly seems like a nice choice as well.

The Caribbean!

You could have Edwin Lopez become a hero in the Dominican Republic, and tell the tale of his unofficial World Title victory over Hamilton Graham...

Real world wise... Something like the Continental Wrestling Association, USWA, or Smokey Mountain Wrestling.

Hit the graveyard, Guzz, and read the NAW file. You'll see what happened to KCW.

AWA seems to have a pretty solid lock on the southeast stretching into the mid-Atlantic with the Carolinas. To me, the next logical step would be a promotion out of St. Louis or Kansas City as a stepping stone towards the addition of Chicago.

EDIT: I need to finish the history of Simon Childes' Florida promotion. Time for the mid... er.. lightweight wrestler to ride off into the sunset of retirement. Hope to get a good chunk of that this weekend.

Seeing more Florida history would definitely help.

Though, the more I see that guys have put a ton of work into territories, I wonder if I shouldn't just do my own original one (Calgary or Winnipeg for example).

I know Blue had a Bret Hart homage in his Pick ems at some point.

If you went the Missouri, Kansas, Iowa route you could base it off what eventually became Central States Wrestling. You could tie in Armstrongs St. Louis history into that which already produced several AWA characters and spin offs.

MSW is Memphis-based.

For some reason I was thinking you wrote the St. Louis Office history as well but it was Blue.
